UPDATE: More New STAR WARS REBELS Propaganda Art

"Explore the galaxy; join the Imperial Navy". Here we have more cool propaganda posters for the upcoming Star Wars animated series, this time courtesy of Empire and IGN. Check out new villain The Inquisitor as well as some Tie Fighters and Star Destroyers after the jump.

"Star Wars Rebels’ continues the epic tradition of the legendary ‘Star Wars’ saga with all-new exciting, action-packed adventures. It is a dark time in the galaxy, as the evil Galactic Empire tightens its grip of power from world to world. As the series begins, Imperial forces have occupied a remote planet, ruling with an iron fist and ruining the lives of its people.

But there are a select few who are brave enough to stand up against the endless Stormtroopers and TIE fighters of the Empire: the clever and motley crew of the starship “Ghost.” Together, this ragtag group will face threatening new villains, have thrilling adventures, and become heroes."

Star Wars Rebels will be with us sometime this year.

I stopped reading the "Last of the Jedi" series around book 3. When did the Inquisitor get a lightsaber? Or is he from the Inquisitorius and is a different character all together?

This is lame as [frick]. I understand the concept, but not only is it cliche and played out, but its way too Earthly a presentation for any Galaxy far, far away.

Didn't the first Star Wars have an original alphabet? I agree, this looks too Earthly

I think the Star Wars movie posters are too earthy too.....
Seriously, these are not made to use in the actual show. Its whole purpose is to promote the new show their making.
