Adi Granov's Take On The Suit From THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Revealed

Adi Granov is of course best known for his work on Marvel Studios movies like Iron Man and Thor, but the artist has now revealed some of his designs for the suit from Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 AND his take on characters from the first movie as well...

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn
Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn
Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro
Sally Fields as Aunt May

CaptainObvious - 3/18/2014, 7:19 PM
The Lizard looks ugly even in comic form.
KarolosPrime - 3/18/2014, 7:22 PM

Nice, but the TASM Lizard is just a shit design period.
beane2099 - 3/18/2014, 7:36 PM
Best movie Spidey suit to date. Still hate the Lizard though.
MexicanSexyman - 3/18/2014, 7:46 PM
I actually like Lizard's design. It reminds me of the early Lizard design.
ajizzle4658 - 3/18/2014, 7:52 PM
great artist, shame the suit looks like every single other spider-man suit out there.
Nomis - 3/18/2014, 7:56 PM
Beautiful artwork!
TheLokey1 - 3/18/2014, 7:57 PM
Needs more snout.

McFarland's lizard is the best lizard
ThrotTheUnclean - 3/18/2014, 8:03 PM
The suit is the only good thing about this film. I will not be seeing it.

My Boycott List:
1. TASM2 (Electro, Rhino, Goblin all look horrible)

2. Ant-Man (Hank Pym IS Ant-Man - [frick] Scott Lang)

3. Avengers: Age of Ultron ([frick] any Avenger's movie where Hank Pym and Janet are not members and has an Ultron created by Tony Stark)

Who cares about the suit????

There isn't enough lipstick in the world to make this pig of a movie look good.

The UNaMazing Spider-Turd 2 looks worst than the first ASM abomination.

sameoldthing - 3/18/2014, 10:12 PM
The Amazing Spider Man 2 suit is hands down THE BEST comic book superhero costume to ever be filmed.
Now...the damn movie better be better than the first movie,it was weak.

@ThrotTheUnclean: Good luck with that boycott! Have fun sitting at home pouting while the rest of the world is out enjoying these three amazing looking films.

Oh God those Spidey shoes from AS 1! HATED that suit, but am loving the new one.
PapaEmeritus - 3/19/2014, 9:49 AM
@ThrotTheUnclean, hey junior, want a lollipop?
PapaEmeritus - 3/19/2014, 9:50 AM
@CaptainObvious, agree. This Lizard simply doesn't work.
KnobGoblin - 3/19/2014, 10:48 AM
His clean, smooth style works best for IRON MAN. It's too dull for Spider-Man.
