What Gusto said. The artwork is veddy nice, but the story-line is sketchy as hell.

Hahaha, I love how every phone call now ends with my girlfriend trying to not so subtly work in a "don't you f*cking dare start smoking again, babe, you're doing good so far" bit of encouragement.

Wouldn't dream of it.
pestulio07 - 7/10/2014, 11:11 AM

Doop- Ha, well.. I kinda just make it up as I go along, y'know? Like, last week for example- I was just basically shoving handfuls of gum into my mouth whenever I felt the impulse to light up. I mean, you kinda just have to see things in terms of longevity.. the worst of it's the first few weeks, but after that the impulses just kinda fade a bit, and so long as you remember to understand how your mind works, it's easier to stay in control.
cipher - 7/10/2014, 11:30 AM
In theory.

cristobalite83 - 7/10/2014, 11:31 AM so happy to see the return of Superior Spiderman. Am so down with this issue and cant wait for it.

THE RUSSIAN MOB: is a high-profile criminal operation that engages in black marketeering, terrorism, abduction, arms trafficking, exporting contraband like oil and metals, and smuggling of radioactive substances. In the former Soviet Union power elites and corrupt officials ran the country alongside criminal bosses, but after the economy collapsed the Russian mafia would split into several new gangs. At the time the United States loosened its immigration policy allowing ex-Soviet criminals to enter the country, and the first Russian organized crime began with con artists disguised as merchants in the lower Brooklyn area known as Brighton Beach. These thugs would group together under their own code of conduct based on strict loyalty with one another and militant opposition against the government.

THE MAGGIA FAMILY: is an international crime syndicate (based on The Mafia) the original and most powerful organization of career criminals following a strict code of secrecy among its members. The Maggia controls most of the illegal gambling, loan-sharking, and narcotics trade on the eastern seaboard, they even run casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey and Las Vegas, Nevada. Their presence in the US first came to public attention in the 1890s and their widespread bootlegging of illegal liquor during the Prohibition Era became legendary, they now hold a great influence within various labor unions, and control New York's politicians on every level of government. However in recent years, the Maggia has invested most of its illegal gains into legitimate business practices, all-the-while hiring criminal supervillains and mad scientists into their ranks for more subversive activities.

THE CHINATOWN TRIADS: are an underground society and street gang that engages in a variety of crimes from extortion and money laundering, to smuggling and counterfeiting music or video software as well as more tangible goods such as clothes, watches, and money. In reality NYC's Chinatown is generally viewed as a valued tourist attraction, but its earlier reputation was that of dangerous or dilapidated ghettos and slums, sites of brothels, opium dens, and gambling halls.

THE GOBLIN'S GANG: is an urban terrorist group dedicated to Harry Osborn's hostile takeover of his father's company, Oscorp Industries. Felicia, the Goblin's second-in-command, had access to some untested equipment that, when mass-produced, would help him exact his revenge on Donald Menken: an OsCorp board member who'd been using Harry's security clearance to run the off-books Special Projects division at Ravencroft, and then framed him with covering up Max Dillon's accident to usurp his place as CEO.

You have to change that habit for another man, there is no other way.
A friend of mine was asked by her fiancée to stop smoking, he told her that he would only quit if every time he desired a cigarette she would instead let him go into her anally…
I know it sound crazy but the girl accepted.
And now my friend is an anal addict but stopped smocking
True story
Karmatron - 7/10/2014, 11:39 AM
that is what my friend told me : /
BubblesShedAndBreakfast - 7/10/2014, 11:40 AM
Most comics today either have great art with shitty writing or they have great writing with shitty artwork. At least this one has a nice eye candy artist to keep our minds off the shitty writing at first.
cipher - 7/10/2014, 11:41 AM
Karma- Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Well, I will say the sex has stepped up a bit for us.
Doopie - 7/10/2014, 11:49 AM

that is probably the most unique and best way I have ever heard of someone quitting. If he was a 20-a-day kinda a guy then the gf must be ruined by now. I recently quit drinking though so outside of swearing, smoking is really the only vice, and pleasure, I have left
wcwpoet - 7/10/2014, 11:56 AM
While I like the art yes this is confusing
Karmatron - 7/10/2014, 12:01 PM
@Cipher I know man hahahaha

@Doopie yeah I think he had a great idea but I did not want to go in too much detail about the number of cigars he had on a daily basis… LOL
She had a great ass tho
Karmatron - 7/10/2014, 12:04 PM
You should not leave pleasure out of your life man, try to maybe have it less but do not leave it!
You could end up like @Gusto and when he returned it was too late : (
beane2099 - 7/10/2014, 12:05 PM
Seeing as how he appears to be in 2099 I'd assume this takes place during that time he was wisked through time in Superior Spiderman 17-19. They never specified how long he was gone so this makes sense to me. I do think it's a bit odd that Spiderman 2099 takes place present day while this takes place in 2099 but whatever. Spiderverse seems like it'll be cool.
Doopie - 7/10/2014, 12:16 PM
I'm trying @Karmatron, I am trying
Gusto - 7/10/2014, 12:16 PM
What's "quit drinking"????
I'm sorry...I don't speak crazy.
Karmatron - 7/10/2014, 12:18 PM
@beane2099 I think you are on to something there, your theory sounds spot on.
I stopped reading after Superior Finished and have not read what happened with the new Spiderman; is it as good as Superior was?
Anyone has been reading it that can give me an opinion on it?
beane2099 - 7/10/2014, 12:56 PM
I was a fan of Spiderman in cartoons and movies but not so much in the comics. However I loved the Spiderman (and Doom) 2099 comics back in the day. My girlfriend is a major Spiderman fan and when I heard about Superior Spiderman I was intrigued by the premise (if for no other reason that it was ballsy as all get out) so I bought her the first few issues. I read them and got hooked.

As far as the new Amazing Spiderman series, so far it's been pretty good. A lot of it involves the fallout from Superior. He has to deal with suddenly being the CEO of his own company, MJ having a new boyfriend, and then Otto's romantic life in his body. I dig it.
SuperiorMrGod - 7/10/2014, 1:18 PM
Spiderman comics suck now. Like a lot.
