@Everyone

I am so sorry for giving Josh the idea to do this. Please I didn't intend for this to happen.

@Mrcool210 - yeah. And can you believe his endgame aftermath one? It was a did work yet can be summed up as just not so bad.

@Mrcool210 - It takes a big man to admit his mistakes. I can respect that. As far as I'm concerned,we're Kool and the Gang.

Just got out from seeing Far From Home.

@PlusUltra - It really really was. I'm honestly still torn if I like it more than homecoming or not. I mean homecoming had the better villain, but that parking garage scene.

@Mrcool210 - Man, that scene! I can’t believe they actually pulled off Mysterio’s powers that perfectly.

@Mrcool210 - Homecoming has the better villain?!?! Are you sure? Because Mysterio was way better than Vulture.

@Mrcool210 - I personally think Mysterio was a different kind of "good". He's definitely less complex than vulture, but is more theatrical/pathetic. It's like comparing a Hela and a Zemo.

@PlusUltra -

Mysterio was actually terrifying. His technology was no joke! Definitely a formidable villain.

" I can’t believe they actually pulled off Mysterio’s powers that perfectly."

this is ↑ Exactly what I thought while watching the movie,

I felt like watching Mysterio straight from the pages of the comic book !!!

Honestly I was looking for this article the moment I left the theater Tuesday night. I agree with this. I started crushing on MJ during the movie 🙈

I'm ok with mysterio dying. We can't keep everyone alive

@Vigor - Mysterio isn’t “everybody” he’s apart of the sinister 6...he should be kept alive. He could be so useful down the road. They just keep killing the villains in his rogue gallery then what the heck will we be left with?

Slightly off-topic, but what’s the chances of the majority of Phase 4 taking place in 2023 until we catch up in real time? Because I wouldn’t even mind that.
Mrcool210
Mrcool210 - 7/4/2019, 5:57 AM
@PlusUltra - I think they might keep it 5 years ahead at all times. Considering that FFH takes place like 5 months after endgame if I remember correctly. Which is a bigger jump then it is in real life between movies. So they might always keep advancing a little further then real time so we're always at that 5 years ahead thing. That way they can be more detached and not have to worry about what's going on IRL cause it's 5 years past that.

@PlusUltra - Actually it's been 8 months as Josh says in the article. So if it's the start of summer in FFH that means Endgame took place in at least october, so now it's at least 2024 in FFH.

Best Spider-Man movie ever in my opinion. Damn near perfect.

What worked: the last 1/3rd of the movie
What didn't work: the first 2/3rds of the movie.

The film was a hell of a lot of fun, and I have few complaints about it.

I’m fine with Beck dying, as Mysterio lives on... he’s a holographic character with a performance put out by his former team. I expect that we’ll see Gyllenhaal at least one more time in the MCU.

And yeah, I quite enjoy this MJ... I don’t really care what her name is (and couldn’t tell you... Michelle J-something?). I actually really enjoy Peter’s supporting cast and so empathized with his desire to get back to them and the trip. I like the small shift towards making Flash more sympathetic even, and am curious to see where that goes with the next entry.

TIL people actually think Mysterio is dead.

No Zendaya isn't Mary Jane. And no shes not better the the the original trilogy. Her romance didnt feel earned as it comes out of nowhere. In the 1st film he has a crush on Liz Allen, and no sign of one on Michelle. Now suddenly in this film he does?! What? And no she's norhing like MJ. MJ is confident and feisty, and at first has the nothings ever wrong with Mary Jane persona. Zendaya doesn't have any of that. She's a nerd, shy unconfident and a geek. And rude. Nothing like Mary Jane.
FireandBlood
FireandBlood - 7/4/2019, 6:41 AM
@Whiteharted - Peter’s a teenager. Teenagers have a different crush every other week. There’s no need to over complicate something so naturally simple.
Whiteharted
Whiteharted - 7/4/2019, 9:25 AM
@PlusUltra - Still very weird considering his massive crush on her in the 1st.

How is no one talking about the fact that Mysterio made the footage of himself ousting Peter’s identity while he was laying on the bridge presumably dead? He had his costume on and everything in the mid credits scene. But that same scene in real time when Peter defeated him, he was in the local suit on the bridge. So how could that be? What if chameleon was really Mysterio on the bridge? Or simply, Mysterio must still be alive due to one last illusion/trick.

Didn’t Work: Bald J. Jonah Jameson

Comic books are a visual medium. The visuals matter.
