First (Low-Quality) Teaser Trailer From The Amazing Spider-Man Online!

It's Spidey's time to shine; evidently not in the greatest quality, make the jump and check out the teaser trailer for Sony's Marc Webb-directed reboot The Amazing Spider-Man!

Receiving confirmation last week that it was attached to this Friday's release of Captain America: The First Avenger, it's no surprise eager Spidey fans have captured and posted the first teaser trailer for Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man reboot. While it's expected to be officially released this week, watch a shaky-cam version below!

The Amazing Spider-Man focuses more on Peter Parker’s high school days and the development of his powers while navigating the troubles of a brainy geek in high school. And starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field, the films swings into theaters July 3, 2012 in 3D!

GODDAMMIT! I getting thrown temptations from every direction! I was able to avoid The Avengers for this long. This should be nothing.
joekerr93 - 7/19/2011, 12:58 AM
hmm, after seeing the TDKR and Avengers teasers this isn't as impressive to me, but it still looks good

Reminded me so much of Mirror's Edge during the last bit of the trailer. I'm pumped to see the movie, but at the same time I can't help but to feel like it's so soon to retell the origin! I feel like it was only yesterday when I saw Toby Maguire doing the same exact thing during that little transformation scene LOL
DiLusso - 7/19/2011, 1:04 AM
this is why spiderman is my favourite hero. as much as love bats, x-men and the avengers, it only spidey that makes the hairs on the back of my neck go up when i see the trailer for the 1st time.
this film looks awsome!!!
Deadpool13 - 7/19/2011, 1:15 AM
Freaking Wickedly Awesome
luckylu - 7/19/2011, 1:16 AM
that teaser was put together really well but previous images tell me its going to be shit
Berger45 - 7/19/2011, 1:19 AM
Looks great!
Hulkson - 7/19/2011, 1:19 AM
Thought it looks ok. A more grounded approach but the Scene in FirstPersonPerspective, i don't know. Looks kinda wierd, like a videogame. Maybe it'll be much better in 3d but it would be a shame if it looks bad in 2d.
JerBear - 7/19/2011, 1:19 AM
You're going off of photos instead of a trailer?
ArcticMonkeys - 7/19/2011, 1:20 AM
that whole last sequence got me so pumped. now i want to climb shit and be awesome
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey - 7/19/2011, 1:20 AM
have to admit, the first person view was cool. but otherwise, meh. Avengers trailer was cooler. And that pains me because I love spider-man. I like avengers too, but, still.
DelDawn - 7/19/2011, 1:22 AM
Looks Ok, but there's something about the tone that concerns me?
TheBumblingIdiot - 7/19/2011, 1:22 AM
i want to see the lizard now
EditNinja - 7/19/2011, 1:23 AM
Okay, not bad.
jbender - 7/19/2011, 1:23 AM
MrSuperheromoviefan - 7/19/2011, 1:23 AM
meh, really meh
the suit(especially the eyes)look bad, the web-shooters are shit, Andrew Garfield doesn't look at all like a high school students. This trailer looks the best fan made trailer
Orphix - 7/19/2011, 1:24 AM
The tone of it is really interesting. Obviously inspired by Nolans Batman flicks.

But still seems too soon. When he said "We all have secrets" in his voice over in my head I just heard "With great power, comes great responsibility".
kylum616 - 7/19/2011, 1:24 AM
3 things first the suit still sucks
2.why does it look like a vidio game
and 3.were the fk is the marvel logo

kashchei2003 - 7/19/2011, 1:24 AM
i hope it doesn't turn out to be some emo twilight shit
95 - 7/19/2011, 1:25 AM
I totally freaked out when I saw this on the front page, did not expect it.

It looks great. The tone is perfect. The premise is excited frankly.

That CGI New York skyline sequence needs some improvement when it's next to those great shots on their RED EPIC.

Bring on the Lizard!

THABATMAN - 7/19/2011, 1:25 AM
idk what to think about it this. it looks great, i guess i was just hoping to see more spidey.. and does he get bit on his neck??
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey - 7/19/2011, 1:26 AM
@DelDawn yeah the tone does seem different. But in a bad way. Like in a unspider-manish way. As in not very spider-man. More dark. Which is NOT spider-man. That's batman. lol.
Kokomo - 7/19/2011, 1:27 AM
I really did not want to like this movie... but damn, that teaser was really, really good. You're not making this easy for my Sony!!!
Kokomo - 7/19/2011, 1:29 AM
*easy for ME
MarvelousMarty - 7/19/2011, 1:29 AM
Hmmmmmm, I agree it's way to early to do a origins again. Looks good, but just another Spidey movie, was lookin forward to this, now I'm "whatever".
hush - 7/19/2011, 1:30 AM
I feel I should be excited, but nothing. I'm still not interested.
Breasticles7 - 7/19/2011, 1:30 AM
Looks much better than I thought it would. I actually think they can do this movie completely different than the first 3.
luckylu - 7/19/2011, 1:32 AM
@jerbear- ya because a trailer wont put stupid shit like spidey wearing sunglasses and a beanie while showing off to people or dunking on basketball jock.
spiderneil - 7/19/2011, 1:34 AM
very very nice :)
Maia87 - 7/19/2011, 1:34 AM
Too much dark, dammit it's not Batman lol!

The Scene in first person view is really terrible IMO.
Jolt17 - 7/19/2011, 1:35 AM

Well but it's not an attic lab apparently, and GARFIELD doesn't look so much PARKER in a very few shots, but rest are awesome!

Bring on the HD, can't see some scenes tho.

First-person looks pretty cool, should be AMAZING in 3D!

; )
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey - 7/19/2011, 1:35 AM
@Intruder if this is the spidey movie you have been waiting for, you're telling us that you wanted it to have a darker nolan batman like tone and a suit that doesn't stay true to the comics? That's not very spider-manish! And I am a hardcore spidey fan. Anyway, I'm not going to make any conclusions until I see the film. But I don't like what I see. But, if you like it, hey, that's fine. Your opinion man. Just like it's mine that I don't care for it.
Cross - 7/19/2011, 1:35 AM
So is this a video game now? The suit still sucks.

jaycr - 7/19/2011, 1:36 AM
I want to see it with good quality, I looks ok but I have to say that Raimy's Spiderman looked better 10 years ago than this one. It's up to the Lizard to make this movie, if the villain looks crappy, visually this movie will flop. The origin story bores me to death, I hope they will pass it fast and build a new story.
Jennn - 7/19/2011, 1:38 AM
whoaaaa the first person perspective is a mindf*ck! but everything else looks great.
Cross - 7/19/2011, 1:38 AM
And all of you thought spider-man 3 was emo. wait till you see that. this is not batman and it will be ridiculous if they bring the batman darkness into this.
VIKEME - 7/19/2011, 1:39 AM
Wow it looks completely different than what I was expecting. It's so much darker then we were led to believe
JerBear - 7/19/2011, 1:42 AM
More like a Spiderman with web shooters, gwen stacey and high school.
