I don't really like the design only because of the hair. If he can nail the acting, everything should be alright.

Don't hate it, could be worse...still think Norman will be the Green Goblin
IAmNotGr00t - 2/20/2014, 4:11 AM
FIFTH! I think it looks terrible, but better than Raimi's power ranger Goblin.
manofsteel1942 - 2/20/2014, 4:12 AM
Hahahaha...he looks like Evil Ed from that 80's Fright Night movie.
jrp6048 - 2/20/2014, 4:12 AM
Spider-Man is getting choked out by his crackhead pimp
Faris - 2/20/2014, 4:13 AM
WTF?? He is neither a goblin, nor even green; then who the hell came up with the idea of SUCH interpretation of the character :P

Looks awesome! but of course everyone is going to shit on it. If anyone thinks it looks worse than the first one than you're delusional.
caroldanvers - 2/20/2014, 4:14 AM

Whats "amazing" is how no one can properly translate The Green Goblin from the comics onto film.

This look Harry has is awful..just hope Norman is the real Gobby & looks the part later on.

The first Spider-Man suit looked bad but then they wised up & translated it from the comics, now it's that for the Goblin!!
mumbz - 2/20/2014, 4:16 AM
cogs man chuffing cogs Dane looks mental
Doopie - 2/20/2014, 4:17 AM
wasn't his hair blonde in earlier shots?
BlanketMan - 2/20/2014, 4:19 AM
@manofsteel1942: I was about to type that exact sentence.

"Oh, you're so COOL, Brewster!"
KIDDSOUL - 2/20/2014, 4:19 AM
Could have put on a tattered hood and this could have been the Hobgoblin very easily SMH
SpiderFraud - 2/20/2014, 4:20 AM

You must be blind.

REBOOT! Give back the cinematic rights to Marvel/Disney.
SpiderFraud - 2/20/2014, 4:21 AM

If they would have put some type of hood and fixed up the hair, I think the design would have been better.

SuperCat - 2/20/2014, 4:23 AM
He looks like an assh@le.
loki668 - 2/20/2014, 4:24 AM
He looks like he's in a Flock of Seagulls tribute band
Ashes2Phoenix - 2/20/2014, 4:24 AM
That looks sick. What is the matter with you lot ? He is the most Goblin looking we have had yet. His face has green flecks on his face. I think this is a pretty cool interpretation of the character. The Proto-Goblin, can't wait until Normsn god full Goblin !

I am going to say it. TASM2 is going to be CBM of the year !
Kyos - 2/20/2014, 4:26 AM
What is it with merchandise spoiling the looks of characters way before any official pictures are released?

I do have to say that I really like this picture! Not really caring about the movie and/or the villain in question might be helping. ^^
SuperCat - 2/20/2014, 4:26 AM
dethpillow - 2/20/2014, 4:28 AM
rad. i'm so glad they're letting the actor play Goblin.

should of let Dafoe do that, he would've killed it so hard.

Dehaan looks like a young Leland Palmer.

Too much villains too.. It looks like a Spider-Man 3 bis.
I'll surely wait for a torrent before wasting my money in theater for this.
Jimmyquickfingers - 2/20/2014, 4:31 AM
Good thing I'm not a Spider-Man fan or else I'd be really upset.
loki668 - 2/20/2014, 4:33 AM
That's his "pre-Goblin stage" you say? How can you tell? Is it the tag on his clothes that says "for pre-Goblins 21 & under"? He goes "full Goblin"? How? When? Tell me about the rest of the film, since you've obviously seen it!! By the way,

Gmoney84 - 2/20/2014, 4:34 AM
If they'd just just put a hood on that design it'd would totally work. It's not terrible.
goos2 - 2/20/2014, 4:34 AM
Man that looks horrible. Slaughtered the design of the character, nothing like the comic counterpart... but hey FOX is an expert at that. Looks like Dane DeHaan with bedhead and a crackhead smile across his face, oh and some "green" armor. I mean WTF, nothing like the Green Goblin, s*** just call him something else! How can true fans like this crap?
goos2 - 2/20/2014, 4:36 AM
... And for the love of God stop referencing Proto-Goblin, that is nothing like that character, d**n go read up or shut up.
MrSundayMovies - 2/20/2014, 4:37 AM
Yeesh. Could be better in motion. Though he does look like Evil Ed from the original Fright Night.
KIDDSOUL - 2/20/2014, 4:37 AM
The costume and the facial expression looks great but the armor seems overtly done. I feel it should not be for the Goblin. I think if the armor was toned down just a bit and add some costume influences from either Demogoblin, Hobgoblin or Carrion it would look much better. Look at the hair lol

It will be a box office success!
