I liked TASM, so I'm not against it. But I'm not really for it either. I'm like:

He's just gonna get screwed over again like last time, "untold story" my ass.
AC1 - 9/28/2012, 12:13 PM
Great news, loved what he did with the first film!

@JonathaNisMagnuM HISHE is always hilarious, but you can't use that as proof that a movie is bad. They've also done videos for The Lord Of The Rings, the original Star Wars films, The Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises, the first Superman film, The Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Prometheus, Jaws, Transformers, Inception and hundreds more, and a lot of them have even bigger plot holes than The Amazing Spider-Man's pointed out. The point is that HISHE will make videos about films both good and bad, so them making a video about a film is not proof that the film was bad at all, it just means that it contained plot-holes, which 99% of films contain if you look hard enough.

For example, this one reveals a huge one in The Lord Of The Rings:

We all know Sony is not going to let Webb have creative freedom. Spider-Man is their only hit franchise now. They wouldn't dare let anybody take any risks.
Deschain12 - 9/28/2012, 12:23 PM
Hope it's better than the first one.
RAWRG - 9/28/2012, 12:29 PM
sony better not [frick] this one up too...anyways glad he's back, the sequel has potential, IF sony stays out and lets Webb have his freedom.
Ha1frican - 9/28/2012, 12:30 PM
As someone who realy likethe first one i was hoping for some new blood...
iJackSparrow - 9/28/2012, 12:31 PM
[frick] YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I'm on a roll of amazing news. Marc Webb directed one of the best origin CBMs ever in my opinion, I'm stoked as [frick] for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Now more than ever.
CaptainObvious - 9/28/2012, 12:40 PM
Just please don't let Webb direct another post-credits scene. God, that one was terrible.
IIIAdamantiumIII - 9/28/2012, 12:41 PM
DOPE, now make it deeper and darker ! TAKE SOME RISKS!!!!!!
ATrueHero1987 - 9/28/2012, 12:43 PM
Like there was any doubt. Let's just hope they've learned from their mistakes from TASM.

SN: Kraven The Hunter for the villain in TASM2
iJackSparrow - 9/28/2012, 12:44 PM

Here's how I rank my top 5 comic book movies:

1. The Avengers
2. The Amazing Spider-Man
3. Iron Man
4. Batman Begins
5. Spider-Man 2
ATrueHero1987 - 9/28/2012, 12:44 PM
Oh, and lose the Disney kids music for the sequel. Some of the score made me cringe.
GoILL - 9/28/2012, 12:44 PM
Hope this is better than first one which wasn't a bad movie just forgettable one for me.
imnotwearinghockeypants - 9/28/2012, 12:44 PM
Did anyone even notice the last one?
KNIGHT3000 - 9/28/2012, 12:46 PM
Lets hope he makes a good Spider-Man movie, or maybe I should say "better". Cause the last 1 was WEAK
Kingdork - 9/28/2012, 12:46 PM
And Sony is also confirmed to return to [frick] things up and micromanage his work resulting in a dull soulless piece of film (with cool action though).
Stumblin - 9/28/2012, 12:47 PM
Sweet! Looking forward to see if Green Goblin makes the cut for the sequel. First one kicked ass.
rebellion - 9/28/2012, 12:48 PM
i hope it's better than the last one.
Jollem - 9/28/2012, 12:48 PM
@iJackSparrow - better origin story than any of the marvel studios movies. not sure about nolan's batman, tho

i'm still confused as to the "plot-hole" and "mistake" ballyhoo
TheGambitFreak - 9/28/2012, 12:49 PM
The reason I found TASM tedious was it took things from Riami's, but left the things that really meant something, such as the "resposibility" talk and it spent way to much time on the relationship shit. And do you really thing Peter Parker, a man that has learned that with great power, comes great responsibility would go against his crush's father's wishes like that, no decent person would do that, and since Gwen Stacy knew her father told Pete that, I doubt she'd really be okay with Peter saying that last line in the movie.
The cool thing with petey in the comics was, he made the freaking web formula himself, in TASM, he steals it. I'm sure I'll sit through TASM, but like TDKR, if I never saw it again, I'd be fine with it.
KNIGHT3000 - 9/28/2012, 12:51 PM
I was being kind when I said "weak", last Spidey movie sucked.
ATrueHero1987 - 9/28/2012, 12:51 PM
Another thing, I wonder if they're going to "fix" the costume-since that was one of the main criticisms in TASM?(Me I didn't have a problem with it)
BRandom - 9/28/2012, 12:51 PM
@ACira, In the movie it was def a plot hole, but the book explained why the eagles couldn't help sooner than they did...
TheGambitFreak - 9/28/2012, 12:52 PM
1 more thing. TASM wasn't as dark as I was suspecting, but enough with the drama shit. Peter is like a comedian, he has a rough, traumatizing past, but jokes to heal it. Spidey is a sarcastic [frick], enough with the grueling drama and dark filming tone. seriously, the film is shot in a way where it is hard to see what is going on.
theboywonder - 9/28/2012, 12:53 PM
I'm jumping for joy!
spidey1994 - 9/28/2012, 12:55 PM
Great news!!
Jollem - 9/28/2012, 12:55 PM
@KNIGHT3000 - don't hold back, man. let it all out :)
iJackSparrow - 9/28/2012, 12:58 PM

Thanks, mate! ;)

In my mind, The Amazing Spider-Man has the edge because it takes the best hints out of Batman Begins and Iron Man (Nolan's realism and the Marvel Cinematic Universe fantastic flavor) mixing them together to something that I perceive that it'd be looked as much fondly as Batman Begins within the next years. I love these movies to death, and I'm always arguing which one between Batman Begins and Iron Man comes on top, today was Iron Man's turn, haha.
StrangeBlackPantherDoctor - 9/28/2012, 12:59 PM
[frick] Yeah
thunderforce - 9/28/2012, 1:01 PM
I am ok with it as long as it takes place in the MCU .
Kingdork - 9/28/2012, 1:01 PM
I agree with everything TheGambitFreak said. That last line, that big [frick] you to responsibilities and to the dying man whose last action was to help Spider-Man and realizing how he was needed in a moving last breath speech... That shocked me to no end. What the hell was that? Seriously? WTF Peter Parker?
