New Look At Emma Stone As 'Gwen Stacy' In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is already out in a number of countries, but the sequel doesn't hit North America until tomorrow night. Hit the jump to check out a new still of Emma Stone as 'Gwen Stacy' to celebrate what Sony Pictures have dubbed "Gwensday"!

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper, Paul Giamatti, Colm Feore, Sally Field, and Chris Zylka, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released in the UK on 18th April and in the US on May 2nd.

loved this movie. cant wait for the third one. 2016!!! Marc webb is the perfect director for this. equal parts comedy, drama, romcom, action, suspence, superhero.
Pasto - 4/30/2014, 6:51 AM
Yoss, this film is terrible. If you really want to see it, boot-it.
Johnwalker641 - 4/30/2014, 6:53 AM
Cringe worthy in places, but excellent action, the only problem is most of the decent action is in the trailers, I would have honestly enjoyed it a lot more if they hadn't told the whole story through the trailers! To many trailers Webb!!!
YeezusWept - 4/30/2014, 6:53 AM
I await Grif's verdict.
Pasto - 4/30/2014, 6:54 AM
They sure have Yoss, they sure have.
GA15 - 4/30/2014, 6:55 AM
i don't care for spiderman. i did watch tobey spiderman movie 1-3 their ok movie. i also watch the first TASM on tv it was really boring to me. i'm just skip TASM 2 all together.
MercwithMouth - 4/30/2014, 6:58 AM

Shouldn't we consider that a Spoiler?
CoulsonLives - 4/30/2014, 6:59 AM
How is it you guys complain that this movie is cringeworthy?

The plot of all of the Raimi movies are:

Peter has trouble with his powers

He breaks up with MJ

Villain/s kidnap MJ

Villains end up killing themselves

TheRationalNerd - 4/30/2014, 6:59 AM
8/10 for me! Bring on the Threequel!

This gets an article? Lol
CoulsonLives - 4/30/2014, 7:08 AM
True, but Webb made it feel like Spider-Man TAS.
Raimi felt like 60's Spidey, I like that Spidey but I prefer a modern Spidey better.
CoulsonLives - 4/30/2014, 7:08 AM
Your name is awesome. I can't deny that.
TimL - 4/30/2014, 7:09 AM
The CGI/Spider-Man scenes are good but the story... ohman. Electro is a pathetic villain, his character is way too over-the-top (insane, should've been locked up in a special needs home long time ago) and his motive is cringeworthy at best. Goblin and Rhino have a screentime of 2 minutes at best. Only thing holding this cluster[frick] of a story together is Emma Stones, Andrew Garfields and Dane DeHaans performance. Jamie Foxx was good too (so was Paul Giamatti) but the characters they portrayed were way too over the top, like Marc Webb didn't want them to appear like serious enemies.
TimL - 4/30/2014, 7:10 AM
I don't see Webb doing another Spidey flick if he continues to [frick] them up the way he [frick]ed up TASM1 & 2, he should stay with character relationship movies and leave big blockbuster movies like Spidey to the "pros".
CoulsonLives - 4/30/2014, 7:16 AM
That was so well done. One of my favorite Spider-Man moments on film.
Comedian03 - 4/30/2014, 7:19 AM
This movie was just, bad, oh so bad.
Visuals were amazing, I love Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, but there was no saving this movie.
CoulsonLives - 4/30/2014, 7:21 AM
They were really good movies for it's time. FOR IT'S TIME.
But they don't live up to the joy I used to have when watching them...
And I found MJ to be very irritating... JJJ, Bruce Campbell, Cliff Robertson, and I guess Rosemary Harris were the ones who really made me enjoy those movies.
CoulsonLives - 4/30/2014, 7:22 AM
The Clock Tower Scene.
blackandyellow - 4/30/2014, 7:25 AM
I've got a good feeling about her and Peter's relationship. I hope the sequels show them getting married and starting a nice little family.
CoulsonLives - 4/30/2014, 7:27 AM
That hurts man... That hurts...
CoulsonLives - 4/30/2014, 7:28 AM
I'm gonna leave this here...

TimL - 4/30/2014, 7:34 AM
Original trilogy sucks too in some aspects but it gets the bonus points of being the first Spider-Man trilogy. New movies suck because they are retarded in a lot of ways and Webb keeps fricking them up.
Starfox - 4/30/2014, 7:36 AM
As Always, Go see the Film for yourself and Decide.
NinjaKickTheDamnRabbit - 4/30/2014, 7:42 AM
Emma Stone, would have gay sex with.
MrBatmor - 4/30/2014, 7:44 AM
I agree that this movie was bad but no where near Spiderman 3 or the first one.... This film is like the definition of mediocre...
MrBatmor - 4/30/2014, 7:45 AM
@sid believe me... You are gonna be disappointed...i was..

I think you either get what they're doing with the TASM films or you don't, I do.

The guys that like the cheesey camp Raimi/Maguire films, seem to hate these films, much like I find the original Trilogy pretty overrated and in the end just down right awful in Spider-Man 3.

They finally nail the the Spidey sense of humour in TASM 2, which was just not present in the original trilogy at all. How you make Spider-Man cheesey and dull at the same time takes some doing but Maguire/Raimi managed that.

I also think this is a case of people being protective over their childhood and the Spider-Man they grew up with, but those films have dated horribly since their release. I dare you sit through Spider-Man 3 without cringing throughout 90% of the film.
dangermouse - 4/30/2014, 8:10 AM
I'm seeing it again tonight for the 3rd time, loved it.
