I remember most of these from the ending credits of the show. Ah, good ol' memories.

This show along with Batman TAS and X-Men TAS is what got me into superheroes. Oh and the Maximum Carnage game....even though I haven't beaten the game.lol

I liked elements of Amazing Friends more than this series. This series was just too messy. It had a 90s feel and somehow the 90s just had no cool factor.

To this day, this show is the best adaptation of Spidey we've ever gotten. Raimis Spider-Man 2 is way, way overrated. Not even a top ten CBM

Loved this show as a kid and I've got mad nostalgia for it, but today, it just hasn't aged as well. IMO, The Spectacular Spider-Man is the best Spidey show yet.

90s Ruled for cartoons...Batman, Xmen and Spiderman..leading into Superman and the whole Justice League Series. Even the 2nd string Hulk, Iron Man, and Fantastic Four were fun..we can leave out Avengers and Silver Surfer..

BatmanTAS is still tops for sheer storytelling..but Xmen and Spiderman were great. Remember Spiderman gave us a short "Secret Wars" adaptation..

loved this show, thats how i like my spiderman, with the dorkiest comedy coming from his never shut mouth. My only gripe with the show is the animation, which looks good but needs some more frames in fight scenes, like the few scenes they made in the first season that were on the openings, y know spiderman jumping on boxes as octopus destroyed the with his metal arms, they never did that sort of sequence again, they went the teenage mutqant ninja turtles way and every fight looked lamer than the last.

This show is pretty good, but Spectacular Spider-Man outclasses it in nearly every single way.

Best Spidey adaption ever.

Spectacular Spiderman viewers must be youngsters that can't get past MJ Watson in leg warmers. But Spidey's voice and personality were spot on, just like X-men.

@XMenMarvelFan

To me +Fantastic Four, Iron Man and later Justice League gave me the final push. Buying comics since 2002. Damn, back then there were so many good animated cbshows to choose from. Nowadays we have 4 or 5 and they all suck.

This Cartoon perfectly set up the rivalry between Eddie Brock & Peter... From the very first episode they established their feud... It was amazing!!!

agreed, Venom done right, unlike Raimi's lol.

agreed, JLA was the best of the 2000s. Batman Beyond had some great episodes, too, like the origin and the Rås Al Ghul "Out of the Past", among others
