Peter Parker Pieces Together Clues In New AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Wallpaper

The marketing of The Amazing Spider-Man touted an "unstold story" regarding Peter Parker's parents, but didn't deliver. Now it appears as though The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will finally address their mysterious disappearance. Check out this wallpaper.

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

It looks like the animators of scooby doo wrote Oscorp on that paper, that could be a clue...

Why do people always do this in movies whenever they develop some conspiracy theory?

I would keep that stuff locked away so nobody thinks I'm a conspiracy nut.

I wonder if anyoen actually uses those wallpapers. They are so ugly. They are just random high resolution images but they don't really work as wallpapers even when they are supposed to.

I've literally lost count how many times I've watched the final trailer. It feels like the first four films all lead to this one, and that's going to be the first time that we'll see how a Spider-Man film looks like. The anticipation for this and Cap is killing me!

we are not gonna be telling you about the untold story that we will be telling you or not. that shall remain untold, until it is told that we did or did not tell. which you will never know if it was told, to tell you the truth.

the unknown telling of the story will be told once it is known how to tell the unknown truths that remain knowing how to tell what truths were told, unknown to us all by the untruthful knowing of truths better left untold. for to know the unknown telling of what once was known to be told, is like telling the tale, knowing the untold truths of unwilling tales both known and once told.

I just want to say you're by far my favorite poster on this website. You rule, sir. Never change.

maybe Sony was describing the four part story...I always assumed the "story" was alluding to a new series of movies.
