It is currently unknown whether or not it will come with any new content or if it's simply just a way of cashing in on the imminent release of The Amazing Spider-Man. Impressive covers. I'd love to get these but sadly not enough money.
bluehybridzero - 3/23/2012, 3:10 PM
first off, this set looks a million times better than the US version that we have had since 07. i am waiting because the current set is bare bones, and i'm hoping they would release a better one - hence this one - in the states again!
tjbpinkfloyd - 3/23/2012, 3:10 PM
They've already released the trilogy on
EditNinja - 3/23/2012, 3:11 PM
This trilogy is already $25 on bluray in Australia - And well worth it just for the train fight!
Why re-release? Cash grab.
CyclopsWasRight - 3/23/2012, 3:14 PM

Sam Raimi did a great job directing the first two.

I like all of the covers except for the first film's.

marvel72 - 3/23/2012, 3:25 PM
i've already got these on blu-ray but they haven't got any extra features,so add extra features to make them worth buying again.

Boyle360 - 3/23/2012, 3:27 PM
Although these movies were plain wrong and not proper Spider-Man, the first two are very enjoyable. I'll probably get the boxset.
The Amazing Spider-Man will be the definitive Spider-Man!
dahamma - 3/23/2012, 3:35 PM
SPider Man 2....the best one yet!
headlopper - 3/23/2012, 3:35 PM
Does it come without SM #3.
webheaded - 3/23/2012, 3:38 PM
I think it looks great. I'm more excited for the new movie than anybody, but I'll never forget about this trilogy. It was a humongous part of my childhood. Seeing Spider-Man 2 in theaters was the absolute peak of my childhood. Can't wait to buy this. Spider-Man Fan For Life :)
GreyChaos13Zero - 3/23/2012, 3:44 PM
great looking box set but already got them on Blu-Ray?)
bobevanz - 3/23/2012, 3:56 PM
I seem to be the only one who thinks the first film is far superior than the sequel that entailed, the sequel became too much of a love story and peter being a baby like always didnt help, having said that the action scenes were a 1000 on a scale of 1 to 10. Its too bad the amazing spiderman will make everyone forget about this iffy trilogy. First one was supreme! Im ranting -_-
SimyJo - 3/23/2012, 4:05 PM
Wow! - stunnning!, new pretty pictures on a boxset!.
Colour-me unimpressed Sony. Only the braindead or very gullible would buy that.
TheAmazingSpiderMan47 - 3/23/2012, 4:14 PM

Ha1frican - 3/23/2012, 5:03 PM
Yeah... but they suck
Wildaniel - 3/23/2012, 5:12 PM
I got them on bluray already, but those covers are AWESOME!!!
MrPagBrewster - 3/23/2012, 5:34 PM
@TonyEboy me too :(
xXkryptoniteXx - 3/23/2012, 5:58 PM
I don't have the BD version of this so I'll be getting this and I like the fact it's steel case, I just hope that north American version is steel book as well but I doubt it. The covers look great but the spiderman 2 cover is pretty ugly and very half done IMO. They should have the pic with doc oc just standing with his back and looking half way.

awesomem131 - 3/23/2012, 6:37 PM
They should Re-release these with memorabilia from the original know something to hold on to.
brickarts295 - 3/23/2012, 6:59 PM
They better have the behind the scenes extras from SM1 and 2!
marvel72 - 3/23/2012, 7:09 PM
the spider-man 3 cover should have the sandman on it,not the black costume.
thewonderer - 3/23/2012, 7:17 PM
I actually agree with marvel at once, I'm anal for consistency and damn that third box does not have the villain!

Its funny how people like Boyle claim the new Spider-Man more accurate

At least this one keeps Uncle Bens death as the catalyst and keeps it fun. The new one is definitely trying too hard to be Batman
poop23 - 3/23/2012, 8:38 PM
The first cove is cool, its like when starwars when it had the cool covers on vhs
poop23 - 3/23/2012, 8:41 PM
You know what else would work, having on the covers for spiderman 2 & 3 a sinister picture of MJ, she was pretty much the biggest reoccurring villain in the series
ibravosp5 - 3/23/2012, 9:25 PM
They actually added the #1 on the first movie case!
DoomXfactor - 3/23/2012, 10:30 PM
Equivocal - 3/23/2012, 11:42 PM
have U seen the new Spidey movie ????
how can U say is trying too hard to be batman when U haven't seen it yet ????

so far, no movie is following, what some want to called 'nolan' method, no even WB, (owner of the DC properties) they don't even do that !!!
MovieTheaterLad - 3/24/2012, 2:13 AM
I have only a small handful of Blu Rays. If this boxset comes state-side, I'll totally be nabbing it. Favorite movie trilogy of all time.
CaptainAmerica31 - 3/24/2012, 7:02 AM
This movies where a very big part of my childhood, that being said I still I'm the most hyped about TASM
poop23 - 3/24/2012, 4:30 PM
I think way too many people on here are judging those films by remembering what they didn't like about them.
I think we're forgetting the things that were great like danny elfmans score, and JJ scenes, and the perfect job done on Doc Ock (both the actor and CG), and fantastic web swinging sequences, and Bruce Campbel, and the ending of the second film, and the interesting shots used (People keep getting on the directors ass for the story of the films but not recognizing his actual skills ind directing, aside from the third film)
