THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN 2: Fourth International TV Spot Features New Footage

You won't understand what's being said (unless you speak French that is), but this latest TV spot for Marc Webb's upcoming Spidey sequel provides quite a few new glimpses of previously unseen footage, including a new shot of Dane DeHaan as the Green Goblin.

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro, Sally Field as Aunt May, Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn, and Dane DeHann as Harry Osborn. The movie hits theaters May 2nd, 2014.

And the hits just keep on coming!
TheVirgin - 3/11/2014, 6:43 AM
TASM 2 is TDK of the franchise?

I doubt it, mayne..

But I will still watch it on IMAX, so dont be jelly, people.
TheVirgin - 3/11/2014, 6:45 AM
Every time when I say something like that^, my judgement will be mistaken eventually...
MrCBM56 - 3/11/2014, 6:49 AM
Nice! I can't wait for this movie!
Arrow96 - 3/11/2014, 6:51 AM
I don't see the new shot of him as GG...
Nomis - 3/11/2014, 6:53 AM
Too bad TASM wasn't the 'Batman Begins'of the Franchise.

Because TASM was horrible!
HulkleBerry - 3/11/2014, 6:54 AM
Finally!! a comicbook movie that actually looks like the comic come to life.
MightyZeus - 3/11/2014, 6:54 AM
I dont mind that the film is promoting out a lot of trailers and tv spots. I just want to experience the "awesomeness" of this film and i'm hoping it shall deliver.
pintoman - 3/11/2014, 6:55 AM
The shots with Rhino look the most interesting...but that's only 4 minutes of the movie. The rest is a forced conspiracy involving Peter's father and villains with bad hair/makeup.
dethpillow - 3/11/2014, 6:57 AM
Goblin always looks like he's about to shit.

not just in this, but i guess whenever he's on that glider. gross.

gross villain and i think that's totally creepy.
Arrow96 - 3/11/2014, 6:58 AM
@Goldenone33 Sevenwebheads on youtube has a guy who works at Sony. He contacted him and the guy said the info is false.
MrSotoMan - 3/11/2014, 6:58 AM
Ok, stop comparing it to The Dark Knight.

What McNyagano, and ME are trying to say cause I told him that when I first saw the movie is that it has the same feeling as Dark Knight did, it is an awesome movie from beginning to end, I promise. It's not EXACTLY LIKE DARK KNIGHT.

Overall, I hated TASM, TASM2 changed my mind....well didn't change my mind for the first one but I thought the second one would be bad, but it isn't. It's glorious.
dethpillow - 3/11/2014, 6:59 AM
French Electro is scary sounding tho...

that's Electro that's talking right? whoever it is, that's just scary.
like the Omen or Exorcist kind of scary.

i bet a lot of French kids are having nightmares right now.
MrSotoMan - 3/11/2014, 7:01 AM
It's like people bitching about Rhino, trust me, when you see the movie, YOU WON'T GIVE A SHIT.
dethpillow - 3/11/2014, 7:02 AM
@Soto - rad! it's making me really need to see this that you're saying that... it means a lot cuz i know how critical you were of the first one. and i didn't like it much either, but this one is just looking like it's really gonna pull it off.

crazy stuff. the more they've shown us of it, it's seeming like it might be possible.
MrCBM56 - 3/11/2014, 7:02 AM
Soto hates TASM as much as the next guy, so for him to say that TASM2 is, well amazing, that means something.
SuperCat - 3/11/2014, 7:02 AM
TheVirgin - 3/11/2014, 7:03 AM

Hahaha u sounded like u had an erection...
dethpillow - 3/11/2014, 7:03 AM
@Arrow96 - when he flies down kinda sideways to confront Spider-Man. i'm pretty sure that's new. it's toward the beginning.
MrSotoMan - 3/11/2014, 7:03 AM
@dethpillow- Yea dude, I'm not joking, it was mind blowing. I don't know if the purists will feel the same, highly doubt it, but then again Nomis felt Spider-Man & Spider-Man 2 were awesome, just like me.
AntMan - 3/11/2014, 7:04 AM

In your opinion, is TASM 2 the best Spider-Man movie thus far?
TheVirgin - 3/11/2014, 7:05 AM

I am surprised that you have seen it, mayne. Now tell me, is it better than Spiderman 2, story-wise and action-wise... GO! That is all that matters to me...
MrCBM56 - 3/11/2014, 7:05 AM

Your review is coming April, right?
dethpillow - 3/11/2014, 7:06 AM
[frick] yeah, Spider-Man...!!!

go kill em, tiger!!
MercwithMouth - 3/11/2014, 7:06 AM

Cue the people calling you a flip-flopper, lol.

But seriously, lots of people didn't like the first, and with everything I'm hearing, from people that saw it, rumours surrounding it...
TASM2 is going to change a lot of people's opinions.

Everything looks and sounds beautiful. And we don't know enough about complete costume designs to make an informed judgement. I can't wait for this flick. Since I can't see Cap2 opening night, I'm gonna make sure I'm there for this one.
KrazyForKomix - 3/11/2014, 7:06 AM
I think Electro's power is starting to look like an electrical version of Green Lantern's ring. I wonder if this new uber-powerful Electro will be able to make shapes with his static charges? Well, we'll ALL just have to wait and see the film to find out.
Should be fun.
AntMan - 3/11/2014, 7:07 AM
I like TASM a lot. My main concern is whether or not the movie is trying to be more like the Raimi movies. I'd be disappointed if it is, because in my opinion, TASM was a step forward.
Spidey10 - 3/11/2014, 7:09 AM
Wait ive been gone for a while what up everybody and SOTO you saw the know man you gotta tell me if its good or not and I read glorious...are you playing with me right now....What up Batmaniac what up Merc Nomis everybody im surprised Pasto aint on here lol
dethpillow - 3/11/2014, 7:09 AM
@Merc - oh my god, where's Deadpool??!? trip out.
MrCBM56 - 3/11/2014, 7:11 AM
I like TASM too. But I think they sorta, they false advertised the point of secrets being revealed. And when you think about it, it was really no different the first spider man. It was a rehash. It had a anti-climatic climax, weak villain, think story. But the chemistry, acting, and action was great. The school battle was wicked.
Atumbem - 3/11/2014, 7:12 AM
A half second of new stuff. Not really worth it.
TheGreenGusblin - 3/11/2014, 7:12 AM
Dane is sexy! I wanna hug him.
MrSotoMan - 3/11/2014, 7:14 AM
@EVERYONE QUESTIONING MY TAKE ON THE MOVIE- You will have to wait and see April 2nd, I wanna do a double review for Captain America 2, which I hope to see next week and TASM2.

I will say this though, as far as the grounded tone goes, throw out you're window with broken glass, this tone, IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than even Spider-Man 1,2 & 3
Spidey10 - 3/11/2014, 7:14 AM
Also Soto are the shots shown like not even a barometer of whats being held back for the film because the common complaint is that there showing too much footage???
MercwithMouth - 3/11/2014, 7:17 AM

just because one films has the same drawbacks as another, doesn't mean it's a rehash. That like calling TASM a rehash of Matrix Revolutions. Doesn't work that way. But TASM definitely had it's own issues.

I agree. I really want Webb to step even farther away from Raimi's series. I like the direction he began with TASM, and I love the Oscorp angle. They're really setting up for Norman to be a huge multi-movie baddie. He's the bossman. I really enjoyed TASM, and Garfield makes an awesome Parker.
KrazyForKomix - 3/11/2014, 7:17 AM
I do like that we can't make informed judgements about things we can see, like costume designs. BUT we can say that everything looks and sounds beautiful.

Look, I want to see the film as much as the next Spidey-fan. But showing me trailers doesn't convince me to be excited for it's arrival. We've all been burned too many times before by that. But what they DID show me, we're elements that aren't "re-imagining" characters, as much as inventing from the ground up.

I still will and want to see it.
I'm just concerned.
MrSotoMan - 3/11/2014, 7:18 AM
@Spidey10- The movie was like 2.5 hours long, I don't know the exact run time, but a lot in the trailer shows really nothing.

Even then, the footage that is being shown, is true that it is the same one being repeated over and over again honestly in different TV spots and trailers.
MercwithMouth - 3/11/2014, 7:18 AM

What's up, been awhile.

Lol, thought my son deserved some photo love. The 'Pool shall return.
MrSotoMan - 3/11/2014, 7:19 AM
Lmao, Norman, HA! I can't wait to have conversations about this movie come May weekend.
RetroFit - 3/11/2014, 7:20 AM
All I see is Evil Ed meets Beavis (and a can of mousse):
