Unused Title Sequence For THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Trailer Revealed

Unused Title Sequence For THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Trailer Revealed

Created by Framework Studio's Dan Pierse, check out this impressive title sequence which was considered by Sony but eventually passed on. Do you think that they made a mistake by deciding not to use it? Check it out here!

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

"I had the opportunity to pitch on the Amazing Spiderman trailer last year and it made it all the way through the animation stage. Sadly, it was not the only horse in the race and was passed on down the line. I did get a chance to develop how to attach the "web" and the shard together with spline dynamics and Xpresso. All the swinging and webs are completely controlled by dynamics. Good Times!"

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Rhys Ifans as Curt Connors/The Lizard
Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben
Sally Fields as Aunt May
Denis Leary as George Stacy

RELEASE DATE: July 3rd, 2012.

WolvieCBM - 3/1/2012, 11:58 AM
It's pretty cool, but I also liked the one they used in the trailer. Either way, both are good.
MovieMaster - 3/1/2012, 11:58 AM
PaulRom - 3/1/2012, 12:00 PM
That's very cool. I'd love to see something like that for the next trailer.
kylum616 - 3/1/2012, 12:01 PM
fail on sony again, that was pretty cool
CaptainObvious - 3/1/2012, 12:10 PM
Better than the original.
Bandrews1 - 3/1/2012, 12:10 PM
Not bad I guess, maybe they passed for something better.
thedarkknight2 - 3/1/2012, 12:10 PM

marvel72 - 3/1/2012, 12:11 PM
that was very cool, should of used it.
superotherside - 3/1/2012, 12:18 PM
Actually interesting. Not bad. Not great but not bad either. Wouldn't mind if they used it in the next trailer.
ABLEE337 - 3/1/2012, 12:23 PM
What does pieces of cloth that looks like flags have anything to do with Spider-Man? If Spidey had a cape maybe I could relate to the flowing cape like flags on webbing, but to me it didn't feel like spidey. No sir, I don't like it.
razor - 3/1/2012, 12:40 PM
If they are trying to get away from Sam Raimi's franchise they were wise not to use this. It's too similar to his.
LucasMend - 3/1/2012, 12:43 PM
This one is really cool
PeterParker1991 - 3/1/2012, 1:28 PM
That should be in the opening titles.
sianirudh94 - 3/1/2012, 1:28 PM
That was better because the original felt too Transformersy to me...I dunno, it could've just been me! It was probably because of the colour choice.
CaptainAmerica31 - 3/1/2012, 1:33 PM
This movie looks better than transformers: super heroes
VIKEME - 3/1/2012, 1:39 PM
That was actually pretty cool, but I can see why they chose not to use it.
JDUKE25 - 3/1/2012, 1:51 PM
Hmm..not bad
Jer3miah - 3/1/2012, 1:55 PM
Ghey. As. Hell.
webheaded - 3/1/2012, 2:08 PM
Nah no thanks. I'm kind of glad they didn't use it.
ComradeGrey - 3/1/2012, 3:20 PM
Wish it took place in the 60s.
mbomb22 - 3/1/2012, 3:52 PM
looked too much like the last trilogy. glad they didnt use it. some fans would be confused. (not making fun of anyone...i work in retail, i know people get confused easily! lol)
AutobotCommander84 - 3/1/2012, 4:01 PM
@LOGANXX35 So you've seen it? I assume you must've obtained the film by some illegal means and as such, I'm afraid I'd have to report you to the FBI if you are telling the truth.
ULTIMOSPIDER - 3/1/2012, 4:30 PM
I am extremely hyped for this movie ...but this intro to a trailer was meh.....i am happy with the first teaser and trailer so far.......but don't show us anymore til July 3rd when the underdog Spidey takes on the big boys TDKR and Avengers (after seeing that muh fuggin trailer) creamy triple nut Batman this summer is STACKED !!!

NUFF Muh Fuggin SAID !!!
CaptainAmerica31 - 3/1/2012, 5:59 PM
TASM is definitely the underdog of this summer
travispipes - 3/1/2012, 6:19 PM
That was cool but i really don't think it would have fit in with the rest of the trailer.
StormLoganSummers - 3/1/2012, 6:33 PM
Non mi piace.
SpideyQuad - 3/1/2012, 6:59 PM
Spiderman fans are sophisticated, they would never be confused. Now the dates they brought with them to the movies… Completely lost
thewolfx - 3/1/2012, 8:05 PM
lame just like his suit , im sure thats why they used the other opening
Number1Wolverine - 3/2/2012, 12:13 AM
It was cool, maybe they will use it later for another trailer.
13vecotredWay - 3/2/2012, 10:25 AM
If the movie does good, it could be reused only changed the title?

13vecotredWay - 3/2/2012, 10:42 AM
SORRY Uncle Ben, I forgot...

There is GREAT truth in honesty.

We live in such a cynical world, also what a competitive market to boot.

Uhh, if its in the Marvel universe, can characters swap powers possibly? You know so what is above could actually make sense, it is a cruel world a senseless one.
SpiderFan35 - 3/2/2012, 2:33 PM
That was weird and terrible. Did not care for the spider-spooge at the end.
