In ASM2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

That suit looks so good. I wonder why he changed suits in the movie.

Lol, why would it feel like another reboot? It's got the same cast and is part 2 to the series. Just wondering bro.

It wouldn't feel like a reboot but, I agree with DudeGuyMan. They should explain why he changed it because the suit from 1 and the suit now, are totally different.

In terms of the suit, it was a mail order job that Peter modified. And it didn't look like he could afford to order spares. Given the bullet hole, the Lizard claw rips across the chest and the rest of the damage, I don't see a needle and thread and a good wash doing enough.

It could be something as simple as Peter choosing to change up the design rather than getting the same materials the second time around. I'm willing to bet Gwen helped with some of that input.

And I actually liked the texture of the ASM suit. I was kind of hoping it'd be that suit only with a few design tweaks to go a more comic route and a change up in the lenses. Still, this suit looks fantastic.
