Agreed, but there is no harm liking it :D
Spidey91 - 12/15/2011, 10:27 AM
I like both,but they're very different

the old one is very heroic and epic (almost sounds like the score for a Batman movie).
the new one is more dark and mysterious, which fits the new tone of the franchise.

What Spidey91 said. Ever since I noticed the tone in superhero movies had shifted, I knew we'd need something different than Elfman's style. I appreciate Elfman's work, but this is a much invited change.

Cool, nice find! i think the original soundtrack is better though. This new one is just playing the same thing over and over while the other has a lot more to it. Then again, i don't think this is the main theme song
TrueRedBlue - 12/15/2011, 12:38 PM
Whoa. Don't compare the home screen music to an entire main titles composing. They're both great. I'm enjoying this new mysterious/dark style of score so far (:
JDUKE25 - 12/15/2011, 1:17 PM
I like the new one.
marvel72 - 12/15/2011, 1:25 PM
i like the new one,it sounds very dark.
RadicalDuck - 12/15/2011, 1:27 PM
Wow...that sounds brilliant!
Bandrews1 - 12/15/2011, 1:36 PM
I like it, but I wouldn't say this is the main theme just yet, its probably just random background music from one of the scenes. But if this is the case, I prefer Elfman's score and I think his is more memorable, and this kinda sounds like an intro to rock song, I was literally waiting to hear a guitar and drums come in lol.

I like both differently, just like Spidey91, it fits with the films tone, and the new one is very modern so its pretty good
SuspenseSmith - 12/15/2011, 5:26 PM
The soundtrack of the old spider-man movies were the best. Plus it's kind of hard to judge the two when the other track could hardly be called representational of the whole soundtrack.
SuspenseSmith - 12/15/2011, 5:29 PM
New soundtrack reminds me of Assassin's Creed... which is a good thing.

AlexRival - 12/15/2011, 7:54 PM
Probably background stuff when he's Peter Parker, this definitely won't play when he's swinging around the city.
CaptainMaximum - 12/15/2011, 10:30 PM
Jay-z 99 problems is the score?
Action - 12/16/2011, 9:37 PM
The score is like a rap beat, the beat repeats itself.
aduder - 12/18/2011, 4:47 AM
Like it sounds very spider-like.
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey - 12/18/2011, 9:00 PM
I hope that's just for the website. Elfman's is definitely better. Unless it's like what AlexRival said.
Odin - 12/19/2011, 12:26 PM
The new one is just same few notes over an over again.
