It looks like the people got their wish, although it may not be the original comic suit, the classic costume from Sam Raimi's trilogy seems like a good enough substitute! Hit the jump to check it out.

Apparently, this costume is unlocked if you decided to pre-order the game and it appears to be an extra bonus similar to the Rhino and Stan Lee. It also look as of fans of Sam Raimi's trilogy AND Marc Webb's upcoming film can both enjoy the game now. What are your thoughts on this suit? Sound off in the usual place.

Sadly I won't be playing my game until I see the movie first, for the sake of not being spoiled about what happens after the movie. But I'm glad I can play the Webb suit without the belt. It looks weird on him even if he does have a belt in the comIcs it was better off concealed.

Nothing cooler than playing thru the game as a battle damaged Raimi Spider-man. SO AWESOME

Awesome. Wonder if Black suit Spidey can. Would be a cool detail if it didn't as a cool reference. Could Stan Lee take damage?

i just got the game and i preordered the ps3 version , and i have no such awesome costume , but maybe its because i didnt put the code in

Im the kind of person that wants to get every possible thing for a game like this, but will be a while until I can buy it. I hope they do the same as batmanAC and release them all in a dlx later

I really want this suit bad it looks miles better than the New "Webb" Suit

That's awesome! After hearing we would be getting the Black SM3 suit.

I was hoping they would throw in the original Sam Raimi Spider-Man suit.

I have been using it since I seen that I unlocked it. It has bigger eyes then the Sam Raimi version so it is like a amalgamation of the Raimi and one of the Comic versions.

the boots are from spiderman 1 but the back spider is from spiderman 2 ?

in either case it looks great , makes me want to shit on the webb version.

I am playing this game right now. I don't know how to take pictures. But this game is living up to my expectations. It's very fun if you mix web swinging in with web rush for a type of cinematic feel.

Well, I guess I just got screwed over. I pre-ordered my game at Best Buy and picked it up today and apparently Best Buy is the only store that didn't have a pre-order bonus for ASM. ):I

How neat. No disrespect to Tobey Maguire, but that costume looks even better on a Parker with a slim build. I like it very much.

This game is literally awesome once you get far into it. IDK know about you guys but when I started getting used to the swinging around NYC I felt a rush and it was awesome especially if you mix it in with Web rush. Also the side missions are very entertaining, especially the deadlocks. The bank robbery was also fun, playing in the night time is very fun especially since its so bright near time square.

i miss normal swing from sm2 but the combat is top notched ..way better then batman AC imo

Definitely gonna pick this up after I see the movie. Hopefully they release a Miles Morales costume. I'm aching pretty bad for it.

Yeah if they wanna continue to be a Arkham clone, they need a few more costumes, Miles, Scarlet, Ben Reily Spidey...

I like the Raimi costume better, the Webb one makes him look like a 2012 Power Ranger. Game is cool, not worth $60 though, I wish I woulda waited and bought it for $40 or so, oh well the Stan Lee DLC is worth it.

That made me laugh here before I go to bed, Batman Arkham City/Asylum have been voted for goty and Activision/Beenox makes passable Spidey titles every year like clockwork, who wants to bet their will be a new spidey game out around September 2013? ....

hard pill to swallow i know son but as i said IMO its better, way more fast n feels more brutal.
