Hm, Den of Geek gave it 2 stars only. And their review of Prometheus pretty much hit the nail on the head, so... I will make my own opinion, that's for sure, but their rating pretty surprised me for how hyped this movie is.

Everything I've seen looks good, but RIM compared it to Green Lantern. So, I'm still a bit skeptical about the film. No matter what I'll still see it, I just won't go in with high expectations like The Avengers.

Didn't watch, cause I've been on blackout since the middle of June. I rewatched all the Spidey's just to celebrate(yes even 3). And it made me realize that only the 2nd half of 3 is truly bad. The film had so much potential, but it tried to do too much. The pacing was TERRIBLE throughout the movie though, but that's because of the poorly implemented villains and characters.

Anyways, I will now be able to correctly hold this up to the Raimi films and compare them properly since they're fresh on my mind.

I think the 1st film has the nostalgic hold on a lot of people, and they'll never let up.

But I can wager that the Spidey 1 wrestling scene will be better, only because this one won't have Bonesaw's readiness.

i stopped watching clips and spots since the basketball scene came out, which i didn't watch also. i'm hoping it pays off

@TheWebSlinger - i thought spider-man 3 started off with a bang. set up and established multiple characters and plot very quickly, then it slowly went to poo and was a letdown...

I kind of like the no harry osborn, he was a really annoying character to me in the comics and the movies

It opens here in Japan tomorrow.
