Connors' lost arm...impressed me the most through the whole movie. We've reached so far with technology it can actually do something like that flawlessly today.
angus666 - 7/12/2012, 8:33 PM
Is that picture of Connors not backwards? I thought he lost his right arm.
mawilli4 - 7/12/2012, 8:36 PM
@angus maybe it's supposed to be a mirror shot? but good call.
Sortis - 7/12/2012, 8:39 PM

A shot in the movie, like the first image would have been awesome.

I love this movie but I think this scene had more of an impact on me the first time it was shown. (The 4-min super preview)

I finally saw this yesterday and it was great! I loved the development of Peter and Gwen's relationship over the previous films. I cared more about Spider-Man and Peter Parker than the previous films. This version was more connected and way more entertaining over all!

Were there people in the other cars that Spidey left hanging on webs? And how did they retrieve the cars? Not a big deal, just one of those 'I wonder what happened' moments.

"Oh, mamma, that man has no shirt-on. Oh my!"

saw it last night. funny how people say tobey cried too much. garfield never stopped crying. and his peter was awful. the chemistry was non-existant. better than s3 but it's not like that was hard to accomplish.

This guy designed Hawkeye's arrows in The Avengers.

I liked AMAZING SPIDER-MAN it was good, but not GREAT. For me thats saying a lot I think, cause I expected to hate it. As excited as it made me feel watching it, a lot of it felt like a waste of time, or just a lot of yip-yap babble-babble, which is common in your typical "high school" movie. Peter Parker had been portrayed so strongly, even without his powers, but I have never seen a weaker Spider-Man.

Sad to say, but I didn't truly realize how awesome Toby's trilogy was until I saw AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. To be fair, I could only compare it to Toby's 1st, and as such Toby's was better in more ways than 1 would expect. The only thing truly AMAZING about AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, was the aspect behind the Web-Shooters and... thats it. Anything else that was cool was technically a shout out to Toby or Wlliem's performance, and it was WAY better the 1st time. Yes it was the BEST Stan Lee cameo, but definitely not the best SPIDER-MOVIE.

1. SPIDER-MAN 2.1
2. SPIDER-MAN
3. SPIDER-MAN 3
4. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

Sure SPIDER-MAN 3 had a ton of story flaws, but in a lot of ways was still way better than AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, and I seen it twice.

As a matter of fact, Anybody saying this is the BEST SPIDER-FILM, is either:
a) Sick of the old ones
b) In Denial
c) Just likes whatever is new
d) or just never saw the old ones

I think my assessment is fair, especially because I saw ALL 4 movies twice last week. If I had seen them all for the 1st time, I would think AMAZING SPIDER-MAN came out 1st, because Toby's was better in a few ways, especially in execution. Not until Toby's 3rd, did the story start to fall apart especially in the comedic department, but there were still good qualities, such as action and pace.
KNIGHT3000 - 7/13/2012, 9:31 AM
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN was kinda boring too. All action scenes seemed short and made Peter seem tired and weak.

I did not get the impression that Andy Garfield could toss a Sherman Tank like a beach ball, or was able to jump 5 floors straight up. Which is the basics to Peter's powers.
KNIGHT3000 - 7/13/2012, 9:48 AM

YOU WOULD NEVER CATCH TOBY RUNNING FROM NORMAL CROOKS
KNIGHT3000 - 7/13/2012, 11:55 AM
And seriously, Andy's training scene was fairly lame too. He was just doing a bunch of Skateboard tricks normal Skaters do without powers... How does that say "Hey i'm super-powered"? He sticks to the wall once and jizzes his pants, COME ON! And then he does his Tarzan routine with dangling chains... WEAK. Wasn't nearly as epic as watching Toby attempting to master the swinging in his track suit.

A lot of SPIDER-FANS are in serious denial. Action was few and far between Emma's babbling, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN is the SUPERMAN RETURNS of SPIDER-FILMS.
KNIGHT3000 - 7/13/2012, 12:26 PM
When I was in the theater, ALL the kids passed out, you almost didn't even know they were there. Except in the 1st in costume scene when their parents woke them up, they chuckled and passed out again.

I am sorry, but children passing out in a Spidey flick is no good.

So many parents were like
"Wake up honey its Spider-Man"
BenderDickCumPatch - 7/15/2012, 2:48 AM
@KNIGHT3000- All they want is the fun, loving and cheesy Spider-Man with shit blowing up. Give them Transformers.

[frick] kids.
Toshitheshadow - 9/4/2012, 3:16 PM
Some people here need psychological help. Raimi's Spider-man movies (excluding Spider-man 2) are better than The Amazing Spider-man? I respect your opinion and all but still, I think it's time to call in a shrink.
Toshitheshadow - 9/4/2012, 3:18 PM
@KNIGHT3000 Those kids were probably all suffering from Sleeping Sickness. I hoped they got checked, cuz that's very serious.
