Emma Stone Pays Tribute To BLADE RUNNER In Awesome Photo-Shoot

Have a look at the lovely The Amazing Spider-Man actress as she poses for a series of Blade Runner inspired snaps with Interview Magazine. Stone also talks about the (possible) fate of Gwen Stacy in a future Spidey movie..

Ridley Scott has said that there would be a female protagonist in his Blade Runner sequel - look no further Sir, Stone looks fantastic in this sci-fi noir setting..











Accompanying the photos is a lengthy and revealing interview with the actress, conducted by none other than writer/director Cameron Crowe. Below are the TASM related excerpts, in which Stone discusses the controversial fate of her character Gwen Stacy in the comics, and expresses her desire to see the movies follow suit..

STONE: ..."Essentially the argument is that Spider-Man kills her by accident. So the person she loves is the person who kills her, which is the most horrifying thing. Apparently people unsubscribed to the comic book when that happened because they were just so flipped-out over it. But, of course, I want to stay true to that. That's the question you get the most when you're part of that saga.

CROWE: "Are you going to die?" is the question that you get the most?

STONE: Yeah, and, "If so, will it be in the same way that she died in the comics?"

CROWE: Which is a broken neck, right?

STONE: Yeah. She snaps her neck because Spider-Man shoots a web out to save her, so in trying to save the person he loves, he kills her . . . That's life for you, man. [laughs]"

She's gonna die. Why else would they make Peter go against Capt Stacy's dying wish of keeping her away from the danger? They're basically overshadowing it.

Stone is so damn rad she's going to make me wish the Spiderman films take a turn for the light, fluffy, "FUN" angle and decide to keep her alive. Sorry to log back in just to reiterate that I'm speechless by just how insanely adorable she is.., but..., yeah these comments are ridiculous.., & so is she.., ridiculously hot that is. Agreed, but it does say BR "inspired snaps." Not trying to point out deficiencies, but they do look like Euroclub, meets corner token Metro Goth club, meets non-orange haired Harkonen David Lynch Dune extras. Overall I love the shoot and it's cool in a nostalgic way to read a Cameron Crowe interview.

Hey Gromblidor, ever known anyone that was able to do amazing things before a car wreck.., then had their life sequestered to life altering immobile confinement? Of course you haven't, per your statement.

That's why she is so attractive. I'm not going into my personal life on a talkback, but I've had a handful of "playing with fire" type girls(i was in a nationally signed band and freelanced in film: momentum) in my time that.., well based on the pics that get posted on this site.., well trust me. I'll take the "un-hot" Emma Stone(like that's an option) over any gold digging, booty shakin', "gettin' my boobs done next year," Tammy; she's got dignity, intelligence and beauty. I laugh as I type but it's true.

No offense but talking about Emma Stone on this site is no different than talking about Wonder Woman.

Emma Stone is friggin' gorgeous - even moreso that she wants to stay true to the character! Hopefully TPTB are on the same page. In that last pic, she looks a helluvalot like Shirley Manson from Garbage.
