Bruce Campbell Confirms Spider Man 4 Shoot Date, And Says He Will Have A "Major Part" In It

I guess this time Bruce won't just be an announcer or waiter OR some ticket guy BUT this time he will have a much important role...

At the premiere for "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" on Saturday, Bruce Campbell told "Access Hollywood" that "Spider-Man 4" will start shooting in January 2010 and that he'll have a "Major part".

Access Hollywood" said:

The actor, who has a long relationship with director Sam Raimi due to his lead role in the "Evil Dead" trilogy, made memorable cameos in the first three "Spider-Man" films.

However, he may have a bigger role this time around. Bruce told "Access" that in the next installment in the superhero franchise, he’s been told he has a major part – but didn’t yet know anything about his character.

He coined the term "Spider-Man" in the first movie, He actually beat Spider-man in the second movie,and he helped Spidey propose to MJ (but failed) in the third movie. Could he probably be what all of us hoped he would be in the fourth movie? If it is whom we wish it to be, could this mean that Sam Raimi has FINALLY added the Sinister Six in the picture? Only time will tell.
Oh, and if you don't know whom I am talking about, I am talking about Mysterio for a possible role.

	I would rather have Electro in it than Mysterio, I like both characters, but I like Electro a little better. I guess its Lizard and Mysterio for Spidey 4, not bad. Just keep Kraven OUT of a Spidey film, he makes Hammerhead look like an interesting character. 	Can anyone say Mysterio? I hope Mysterio is at the start of the movie, get the action levels ramped up. Have Spidey beat Mysterio at the start of the movie as a quick villain (and set him up for a Spidey Six to be a member of the Sinister Six), then introduce the main plot with the Lizard transformed and Kraven hunting the Lizard. 	@joshw24 I totally agree. I think that if Raimi takes liberties the way Chris Nolan has with Batman, the storyline can be amazing. Turn Beck into a failed actor/special effects coordinator. You could even tie-in a hostage MJ because she got him fired. I want to see if Raimi can take this character and make it something new. Bruce Campbell could help him do that. And really, I still want Black Cat in Spider Man 4. My hope is this: Mysterio, Lizard, Kraven, Black Cat. At the end, Kraven gets away and escapes to a destroyed Oscorp where a revived Norman Osborn is. Spiderman 5 brings in Electro and maybe a few more. 	This is my hope: Spiderman 4: Lizard and Kraven, Kraven is sent off to max security prison, Lizard escapes into sewers, news stories about Max Dillon electrical accident, and Beck being fired Spiderman 5: Electro and Scorpion main villains, sub-plot about Spidey thinking he is seeing Uncle Ben's killer, Electro and Scorpion are sent to max security prison, last scene with Mysterio in a dark room, and the killer comes out of the shadows, and morphs into Chameleon, Mysterio drops a folder with the title "Operation S6" onto a table Spiderman 6: Sinister 6- Electro, Scorpion, and Kraven busted out, those 3 meet with Mysterio and Chameleon in the room at the end of Spidey 5, and Roderick Kingsley (Hobgoblin) arrives, proposing a team of sorts. 	Conchizzle: that MJ idea is really good! that would be a perfect way to tie the character into a Mysterio storyline especially what with her being an actress and all! However, im a little sick of MJ being the damsal in distress - maybe just use her as a way to indroduce the character!? 	If Bruce plays Mysterio then all the cameos in the previous movies won't affect Spidey 4, Mysterio doesn't show his face. And the Sinister Six would seem the natural thing to do in Spidey 6. I'm just happy that Bruce finally has a major roll in a Spidey movie! If anyone is the Chameleon it was Uncle Ben's killer in Spidey 1. 	Here is how I would do it if you HAD to tie all of his cameo's together for him being Mysterio. Spiderman/ Peter got him fired from all three jobs. He was an anouncer that got fired because the area was robbed. Peter complained about him as a pushy doorman to the manager, getting him fired. And he was fired somehow from the restaurant in 3 And in 4 he is a special effects expert doing a stunt on the George Washington Bridge, and he over does it with the pyrotechnics and it goes haywire, Spidey saves the day and Quentin Beck (Campbell) gets fired. 	The Spider-Man film franchise is the sexiest franchise in the world. No matter what role Bruce Campbell will have in Spider-Man 4, I'm know he'll do a remarkable and wonderful job. However, since they are going to starting filming Spider-Man 4 in January 2010, I'm still not sure as to whether or not I'll meet Tobey Maguire (my personal Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Tiger) and his children (his daughter, Ruby (CHEEKS) and his son, Otis (CHEEKUMS)) in person; due to the fact that I will be getting the lipoma from my back removed (I'm still scared and worried about the results that will follow after the procedure); I sure hope that if or when I do meet Tobey Maguire and his children in person that I don't embarrass myself in front of them, because I am so hideously ugly; inside and outside.
