I'm kinda thinking SONY will never give up SPIDEY pretty much like FOX with X-MEN.
MyNameIsKhan - 5/8/2014, 6:41 PM
Is TASM2 Perfect? Absolutely not. Is it still a good movie? Yes it is
Kyos - 5/8/2014, 6:42 PM
Well, well...
dcnoob122 - 5/8/2014, 6:42 PM
Just to clear this up, I loved this movie, not as good cap 2. But if you dont like this film, thats your opinion and I respect that. Just dont bash mindlessly on the movie.
Mrcool210 - 5/8/2014, 6:44 PM
josh didn't use this article to show how much he hates this movie? im surprised.
grif - 5/8/2014, 6:44 PM
the kind of movie that should be on wgn
TheDIsSilent - 5/8/2014, 6:44 PM
@dcnoob122 Saying that on THIS site is like telling a heroin addict not to push the needle into their arm. All people do here is bash mindlessly.
Ryguy88 - 5/8/2014, 6:44 PM
I don't get it, is there some kind of debate going on claiming the contrary?
Asterisk - 5/8/2014, 6:44 PM
My only wish for these movies is that they would have a different creative team behind them.
SuperCat - 5/8/2014, 6:45 PM
LOL! Are they kidding?!

TheDIsSilent - 5/8/2014, 6:45 PM
@GoldenOne33 How exactly are they lying when it's mathematically correct? Idiot...

@TheDIsSilent jesus josh can't catch a break. he posts that sony drops a new commercial spot highlighting the positive remarks and the fact TASM2 is the #1 movie in the world. and it's still considered. not everything is flame bait. i don't like the movie i think it sucks. but the fact remains, it is the number 1 movie world wide.
YeezusWept - 5/8/2014, 6:48 PM
Obviously an attempt to entice more people before Neighbors knocks it to #2 this weekend. Chicks are gonna drag their boyfriends to see Efron.
CaptainObvious - 5/8/2014, 6:49 PM
Can we go back to May 2002, please?
Prime - 5/8/2014, 6:49 PM
Haha... Meh movie. Wish Spiderman was home.
Ryguy88 - 5/8/2014, 6:49 PM
Omega, it was received with mixed reactions. Kinda like:

Iron Man 2 & 3, Thor 1 & 2, Cap 1, both Hulks, X-Men 3, Superman Returns, Man of Steel.

Its not Green Lantern, Fantastic 4, Batman and Robin or Origins.
YeezusWept - 5/8/2014, 6:49 PM
...In the U.S. at least

Looks like TheDIsSilent's emergency butthurt has activated.
Comedian03 - 5/8/2014, 6:52 PM
I love how Josh embedded the smallest possible video player he could lol
You fanboys get butthurt on every single one of his articles, and I bet he just sits back and laughs his ass off every time, I know I sure do lol
Ryguy88 - 5/8/2014, 6:53 PM
Dandy, thats true about the disjointed plots, its too bad most CBMs tend to turn out this way. I think they are trending upwards though.
thing94 - 5/8/2014, 6:53 PM
Best Spider-Man movie yet. Raimi's films never felt like Spider-Man to me. This movie, finally, did.

Spiderman needs a bigger than normal haul to break even. With a cost around $410 the box office needs to be over 615 million. That isn't even counting the Marvel cut.

I still think the movie will eke out a profit and keep the franchise going. Its just going to be a small one.

"How exactly are they lying when it's mathematically correct? Idiot"

I read that, and I pictured this
TheDIsSilent - 5/8/2014, 6:55 PM
@Mercwitham0uth Yes, of course. I'M the one that's butthurt. Not all the other people that come into every TASM 2 thread mindlessly bashing it.

Get a grip on yourself.
