TASM 2: Latest Daily Bugle Viral Asks "Where Is Norman Osborn?"

The new Daily Bugle report by 'Joy Mercado' is concerned with the whereabouts of Norman Osborn (Chris Cooper), mentioning that he hasn't been seen in public in months. There's also a nice little Green Goblin/Harry Osborn gag in there too! Check it out after the jump.

Norman Osborn, CEO of OsCorp Industries, not seen in public or heard from in months, remains in seclusion amidst growing speculation about the severity of his condition.

The mounting concern for Osborn’s health, combined with OsCorp Industries’ recent problems with Dr. Curt Connors, has generated increased focus on the readiness of the company’s heir apparent, Harry Osborn, to assume control of the multinational conglomerate.

When asked for an official statement about Harry’s role with the company, the standard company PR line is “Harry is currently studying in Europe.”

After being shown photographic evidence of Harry partying on the Riviera with a bevy of barely-clad supermodels, OsCorp’s spokesman Donald Menken said, “A snapshot cannot capture a life. Harry is a brilliant young man with a very bright future. He may be a little green, but the future is bright.”

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro, Sally Field as Aunt May, Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn, and Dane DeHann as Harry Osborn. The movie hits theaters May 2nd, 2014.

I've just kicked off the preparation for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 next year by watching a Spectacular Spider-Man episode. I'll watch one episode per day. Good God, I've forgot how much I love this show.

While watching SSM, something hit me: in the first episode, Spidey fights Vulture and the Enforcerers, while a LOT of villains are hinted. And do you know why it works? It's not simply because it's a cartoon, it's because the writers of that show understood that Peter Parker's life was the real story. I've a feeling that Webb has also understood what makes Spider-Man tick, and that's why TASM2 is one of the frost anticipated films ever for me.

The viral for this has been nothing but brilliant, I keep anticipating when they'll release new stuff, lI love it how they are immersing us into the Spidey-Verse. If Webb is the mastermind behind this, well played, sir.
