Pick up The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, iOS, Android, Nintendo 3DS, and Microsoft Windows TODAY

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 features:
Director: Marc Webb
Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro
Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn
Sally Field as May Parker
Campbell Scott as Richard Parker
Embeth Davidtz as Mary Parker
Colm Feore as Donald Menken
Paul Giamatti as Aleksei Sytsevich/The Rhino
Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn
Marton Csokas as Dr.Kafka
B.J. Novak as Alistair Smythe
Martin Sheen as Ben Parker
Chris Zylka as Flash Thompson
Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy
Felicity Jones as Felicia

Skintastic - 4/29/2014, 7:18 PM

Man....if Stan Lee has his dick in so many Marvel properties... I can only imagine how many hot female cosplayers have his dick in them as well.

I love Stan!!!
the game on other hand I'll wait when its cheap.
Indy - 4/29/2014, 7:21 PM
but like that you can play as Peter parker.
jfrocks2002 - 4/29/2014, 7:27 PM
I've played it for a few hours - graphics don't look that great on the PS4, and swinging is difficult to control, but it's not too bad so far.
TonyChu - 4/29/2014, 7:27 PM
Playing this game now on the PS4 and honestly it's mediocre this far. The combat and web swinging mechanics are a definite improvement from its predecessor. But the dialogue is horrible.
patrat18 - 4/29/2014, 7:45 PM
Graphics are shit.
ThedamnBatman - 4/29/2014, 7:45 PM
got the game today, so far it's alright, though I don't know, it felt like hey had spent more time in the first ASM game, graphics are laughable lol, and the swinging is dodgy aswell, story wise I'm not that far in but, it's alright, definitelly expected more though

That Kingpin voice is a nightmare

Centrum Silver works wonders. I luv it.
jacobcherry1993 - 4/29/2014, 7:58 PM
Just beat the game (I've been playing all day) and I don't know what everyone is complaining about. The story was awesome, the way the intertwined all the villians, but Electro was a little weak. But the story was awesome and even had a constant theme, and the graphics were nice, always room for improvement in ANY game.
maninfinesuit - 4/29/2014, 8:30 PM
Kingpin sounds like a bad John Goodman impersonator. Best for me is still the Ultimate Spider-Man game.
sharkman03191 - 4/29/2014, 9:03 PM
The game's story itself is much better then the movie. Beenox always does good at cooking up their own stories and not simply rehashing the movie. 8.5/10 for me. Best Spider-Man game yet.

Sex is what keeps Hugh Hefner and Stan Lee alive is what I'm trying to say I guess...

Sex with hot young attractive 20 year old females...

Being able to bed cute girls when you're old is the American dream as far as I'm concerned.
notmuchtotellreally - 4/29/2014, 10:22 PM
This is going to be the best Spidey game yet!! I've been waiting to play as Peter for years!!!!
nikgrid - 4/30/2014, 1:21 AM
I hope this is the last Spidey game....until they get a decent studio to have another go.
TheDemonsHead - 4/30/2014, 6:39 AM
Why can't I feel free while webbing around like in the first trilogies video games (minus the first)

Why are past games better then new games

GoldSlayer1 - 4/30/2014, 6:57 AM

but, but marvel games are better than DC games!
*/disengage sarcasm*

Marvelites are hilarious.

Seeing the first picture of the game i could already tell graphics would be inferior to other CB games (Batman: Origins, Arkham Knight)
thewolfx - 4/30/2014, 8:09 AM
Its ok so far

Beenox just is a tertible developer compared to rocksteady

Which is sad cus spidey is better then bats
ThrotTheUnclean - 4/30/2014, 9:26 AM
Stan Lee is incredible. I am glad he is able to witness comics get to this level, but sad at the same time that he has seen his creations shit on by hollywood.
sharkman03191 - 4/30/2014, 10:33 AM
God, you guys... The game is really good. Beenox is still a young developer. They know the character, and their attempts only get better.
dethpillow - 4/30/2014, 12:11 PM
rad. i hope they put out Stan Lee skin again. that should be a standard for Spidey games from now on.

like the web system in Spider-Man 2, they should've just locked that into it forever, and just gone with variations and improvements from then on. at least for outdoors.

i guess that's where the problem starts to be, is that someone can come up with some new idea that might be cool for fighting for doing things different indoors and then they don't want the game to feel broken into separate pieces. so they end up tweaking the whole system to feel more unified and then at some point it crosses and gets away from what was so perfect about Spider-Man 2.

it makes sense then I guess, it's just a shame that we could have something that felt so perfect in Spider-Man 2 and Ultimate Spider-Man even, but then it seems like it's Ancient Rome or something now. u don't want the same game over and again either too.
Demongod20 - 4/30/2014, 4:43 PM
@ GoldSlayer1

I'm a gamer as well as a comic book fan. 98.9% of all Comic based games sucked because the developers half ass them to make a quick buck. The Arkham games, Marvel vs. Capcom/Capcom vs. series, and a hand full of other comic games are the only good Quality Superhero games. That's mainly because the companies behind them (Rockstar and Old school Capcom) are actually quality developers. Current Capcom sucks though.
dethpillow - 4/30/2014, 5:41 PM
Well Rockstar also has different divisions, it seems like reactions to the Arkham Knight have been pretty divided. it's not the same team that did the other ones. they're working on the upcoming Arkham game.

it depends largely on what type of game u like. but even then, as far Diablo rip offs, Marvel Heroes or whatever is pretty lackluster, objectively speaking.

and so is DC's entry into MMO's... pretty lame and lackluster. a lot of what's gonna make anyone like a particular game or not is just familiarity and love for the property or some weird little thing that connects with them and makes them like it.

this is barring certain exceptions like the first two Arkham games, those were actually games that broke past property kinships and spread over into truly being good games. anything to do with DC? no not really. Rocksteady made a bad ass game and realized how to perfectly translate the strengths of a character like Batman. but I don't see how that fits into any kind of Marvel Vs DC kind of argument. except just in a objective, video game culture centric way, yeah, any comparison would be dominated by Rocksteady's success with the Arkham games. but what does that mean outside of video games? u know? not much, if anything. it's a funny thing to worry about much.

if u actually look at truly good games, I'd say it comes out in Marvel's favor. I like Marvel way way more, i don't pay much attention to DC but Spider-Man 2, Ultimate Spider-Man, Hulk Ultimate Destruction or whatever it's called, Marvel vs Capcom, and people who enjoy games like the X-Men scrollers or Ultimate Alliance games, the Wolverine Origins game and Captain America have actual fans too.... vs 2 possibly 3 Arkham games from the same series with same mechanics, Injustice... and then what else? . how does that translate to dominance? that's more in Marvel's favor than DC's. DC and Marvel don't make the games, u know that right? how does it translate to being about the publishers? it's a whole separate ting. it seems like a desperate grab for something relevant to me. the dominance in cartoons is something that is actually legitimate and worthy to talk about. not video games.
dethpillow - 4/30/2014, 5:44 PM
where's a Superman game? that's even halfways decent? Green Lantern? Flash? Wonder Woman? anything?
anything but 3 Batman games and a DC fighting game in Injustice? what else is there? nothing good, right?

even on that lame level of comparing video games, how does DC dominate the landscape?
