Another New MAN OF STEEL Poster Featuring Superman In Flight

Another New MAN OF STEEL Poster Featuring Superman In Flight

Yes, the posters keep on coming. Yet another theatrical one-sheet for Warner Bros.' highly anticipated movie Man Of Steel has gone online, and it once again features Henry Cavill's Superman taking to the skies. Check it out after the jump.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures comes “Man of Steel,” starring Henry Cavill (“Immortals,” TV’s “The Tudors”) in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, under the direction of Zack Snyder (“300,” “Watchmen”).

A young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind.

Man Of Steel stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne and Russell Crowe. The film is set to hit theaters June 14th.

Looks generic. Was hoping something more.
Dynamo - 5/12/2013, 10:07 AM
Okay, we get it, he can fly. Can we please get an action orientated poster please?
Tony93 - 5/12/2013, 10:09 AM
Sweet btw,
I forgot who posted it but did anyone remember a gif of some chick in a red dress playing pool?
She had very large fun bags lol forgot her name
ALegendaryPanda - 5/12/2013, 10:09 AM
Alright enough with the damn flying already. I liked the other posters but this is getting annoying now.
CaptainObvious - 5/12/2013, 10:09 AM
Hey WB, Superman has other powers.
Rhysno1 - 5/12/2013, 10:10 AM
With all this lens flare you'd think J J was directing
rmxarc - 5/12/2013, 10:10 AM
Also there's always that rocket effect... I would prefer one poster showing us Supes vs Zod, or a Close-Up of the new Suit but not in shadows like the SDCC one.
DioFoRio - 5/12/2013, 10:13 AM
I like this one better than the one with the shield
DioFoRio - 5/12/2013, 10:14 AM seems the flare is unnecessary.
datNAMEtho - 5/12/2013, 10:17 AM
Nice! Can't wait for this epicness!!!
FlashhGordon27 - 5/12/2013, 10:20 AM
Finding these posters really quite boring.
MrCBM56 - 5/12/2013, 10:20 AM
Look like a bad photoshop. I like the rest but this sucks, still excited nonetheless!
codydriscollsrightarm - 5/12/2013, 10:23 AM
“You’ll give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall; but in time they will join you in the sun, in time you will help them accomplish wonders.”

I've been thinking about that line a lot. I know it's from the comics and all, but what if it's also a clever way to foreshadow the DCU?
MarkV - 5/12/2013, 10:25 AM
Who decided that no one can use lens flare any more? You guys sound like mindless drones repeating each others talking points.

Looking forward to a serious super hero film. I appreciate that most people enjoyed Iron Man 3, but it was just a little too goofy and wacky for my taste.
MrCBM56 - 5/12/2013, 10:25 AM

Thats a good point. Superman could give other heroes in the universe hope to come out and actually protect the world eventually leading to justice league.
gambgel - 5/12/2013, 10:29 AM
I guess its cool for Superman fans to have all these posters.... that work like teasers poster more or less.

So lets hope the final one is the most epic poster Warner has ever released for their superheroe movies.

A final poster with an epic pose with the big cape in the air and maybe some of the main actors woudl be epic, I think
EdgyOutsider - 5/12/2013, 10:30 AM
So, we get two good trailers and a good poster (teaser poster)? Where's the rest of the marketing? Holy shit, posters that show he can fly... Yeah. Not even close to exciting. Wake me up when something interesting and exciting pops up.
Comicmoviesrlz - 5/12/2013, 10:31 AM
You people suck. This poster I actually like. Did not care to much for the other 2 before. This one i like.

BruceWayneNewton - 5/12/2013, 10:33 AM
This movie is going to be unstoppable. the only question I have is how they are going to explain Clark looking exactly like Supes.
polarkyle - 5/12/2013, 10:35 AM
I feel no matter how many weeks go by we don't get any closer to June 14th
DCfan89 - 5/12/2013, 10:36 AM
TheSuperguy - 5/12/2013, 10:43 AM
This movie needs to come out already. Iron Man 3 was awesome, let's see another awesome super hero movie.
rocky - 5/12/2013, 10:43 AM
I like it

How about one with him running at superspeed
TheGambitFreak - 5/12/2013, 10:46 AM
I think the Graphic Designer for these posters just discovered the smudge and blur tool on Photoshop and is having a field day with them.
MrCBM56 - 5/12/2013, 10:47 AM

I spy with my little eye a TROLL. Nice try, Man of steel has 5 epic tv spots, 4 epic trailers (5 if you count the comic con), and awesome posters excluding this one.
DCMultiverse - 5/12/2013, 10:48 AM
Awesome Poster again!

@Crossbones - Unsure if you are kidding or not but as for marketing:

4 Trailers
3 TV Spots
2 Theater Spots
Walmart Store Promos: In-store - Videos on screen // POS stand-ups at the entrance way -- Online - Promo
Twizzler Magazine Ads
Online Interviews with Cast, Directors and Studios
Comic Books - Promo on the back
Magazines - Entertainment Weekly (MOS was the feature on the cover of Summer Movies and IM3 had a little 1 pager), F***, Empire, etc .....
Toy and Book released for sale

I am sure I can go on, but seriously buddy, either you want to get a rise out of people or you are blind of what is around you. Everyone wants to keep comparing the marketing to IM3, which was so over saturated it became annoying. The fact people are going nuts and bitching about the "lack" of what they feel they want to see is stategic by the studio! My anticipation level is sky high!

Most importantly ---> Remember that fans like us, while important, take a back seat to the "movie going everyday person". That is where the studio makes their money. All of these posters we keep seeing will probably not be seen by the general public except for an occasional few. I rather not feed a flame war, but douse it with truth! :-) Great Year for CBMs!
DCMultiverse - 5/12/2013, 10:49 AM
Oh! Forgot the most important point! TV Spots aired during THE NBA PLAYOFFS, which held the highest viewer count! Brilliant display of advertising dollars! ;-)
DCMultiverse - 5/12/2013, 10:57 AM
@Levitikuz - They actually released a Lizard poster of his eye and part of his face looking throw a broken wall for TASM.
DCMultiverse - 5/12/2013, 10:57 AM
Through* sorry mistype ;-)
LR - 5/12/2013, 11:00 AM
Where's our Zod or Jor-El posters?
DCMultiverse - 5/12/2013, 11:08 AM
@A911 - Thank you. I did indeed forget that one. More advertising that people realize. Plus my friends overseas tell me people are getting pumped for this movie. Very cool stuff!
AztecaAguilar04 - 5/12/2013, 11:17 AM
Sweeeet! This movie will make bank for sure. Superman you better woop ass this summer or DC will be in trouble lol jk. But in all seriousness here's one for the ladies. Happy Mother's Day to all the woman who gave birth to us young chaps because without them we'd be nothing. Dedicate this tune to them!
MrChuff - 5/12/2013, 11:17 AM
I kinda like this poster.
DioFoRio - 5/12/2013, 11:19 AM

side note -wasn't this pushed back a year or am I trippin?
MisterBabadook - 5/12/2013, 11:21 AM
This looks like that one cover... I'll find it
Ceejay - 5/12/2013, 11:22 AM
Iron Man 3 now stands at $948,993,000 worldwide, it'll pass 1 Billion by Wed/Thursday easily.

All those who doubted it have to eat their words and any idiot thinking Star Trek into Darkness stands a chance of making more are only kidding themselves.

Man of Steel is the only film that can be bigger than IM3 this summer. It's Iron vs Steel!
SUPERSHADOWBAT - 5/12/2013, 11:26 AM
I don't worry about the posters, they have been good. I've been out and about and seen plenty of MOS merchandise and advertising in stores.
DCMultiverse - 5/12/2013, 11:27 AM
Is this MrChuff a spammer by chance? ;-)
TheWolverine08 - 5/12/2013, 11:29 AM
I'm not trying to bash MOS at all, but some of the posters have been lackluster. But I still think it is going to be the comic book movie of the year. And guys, quit the Marvel or DC bullshit. We should just be happy so many comic book movies are successful, and increasing comics popularity.
SpectacularJoSh - 5/12/2013, 11:31 AM
These posters suck...hopefully the movie won't.
