BLACK KRYTPONITE in man of steel? = evil superman?

BLACK KRYTPONITE in man of steel? = evil superman?

images on previous set where kal-el's ship crashed show pieces of dark rocks that could be black kryptonite.

Back in August a super fan unearthed pics of the site where baby Kal-El is reported to crash land in Smallville for the Zack Snyder-directed Superman reboot, the Man of Steel.

Now, video has surfaced of the area as well.

PropStop shot the video and also found some black crystalline rocks left over from production -- which could be the superheated Green Kryptonite known as Black Kryptonite.

Fans of Smallville should remember Black Kryptonite when it was used to separate Doomsday from its human side. In the comics, Black Kryptonite also effects Kryptonians by splitting them into two, thus creating an evil counterpart. Or at times it has been used to make Superman evil as well (depending on the comic and continuity).

Interestingly enough, many have come out and stated that the first official image of Henry Cavill as Superman looked a bit -- evil, where he is apparently breaking into a bank vault! Furthermore, it appears that the US Govt. is going to be at odds against Superman, for some reason. Speculation was because of Zod, but maybe it is because of something else?!

What do you think? coincidence? or evil superman is coming?

share your thoughts.

In the vault scene pic, I just think that is after Zod knocks Supes backwards into the vault, and he is recovering and coming back toward Zod with that "I'm gonna rip you limb from limb" look. If you notice, the vault door area looks concave like something smashed into it. Hmmmm....

I think they're black rocks. They are rather common, especially after a steaming hot rocket ship crash lands into them.

Ridiculous. This theory is weak. The "evidence" is lame. Black rocks? It's just rubble. What else is it supposed to look like? And, Superman breaking INTO a bank vault?? The picture doesn't suggest that at all. He's on the outside of the door (not inside), and he's facing away from the vault door. He looks like he just got knocked on his ass. He SHOULD look mad.

"I've managed to find some black rocks from the Kent farm crash site bigger than my led pencil that I use for school!! Hurry and save these images before Warner Brothers finds out, and takes these epic spoilers off the internet! Haha. Have fun fellow readers!"

"Hey guys! Me again, superiron19. I've managed to find a picture leaked from the upcoming film Superman: Man of Steel! Superman is breaking into a bank vault backwards! The black rock props are actually black kryptonite, and it's flipped Superman's brain backwards. Coincidence!? Perhaps not. Hurry before the Propstop Wordpress Net finds out I've figured them out! Haha. Have fun guys!"

Errm.. did anyone ever hear about vitrification? you know.. like when sand is heated to a point where it melts and then forms chrystaline rocks when it cools down? like you know.. something that could happen when a rocket crash lands ?
SuperSomething616 - 1/27/2012, 7:57 AM
We had evil superman in Superman 3...i doubt this will be black kryptonite...maybe just regular kryptonite until it comes close to a kryptonian and glows green...
