Great New TV Spot For Zack Snyder's MAN OF STEEL Now Online

Warner Bros. Pictures have released yet another new television commercial for the Zack Snyder-directed film Man of Steel. Featuring even more snippets of footage, check it out after the jump!

Next summer, "Man of Steel" is coming to the big screen. The film is from director Zack Snyder and producers Charles Roven, Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and Deborah Snyder. The screenplay was written by David S. Goyer from a story by Goyer & Nolan, based upon Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster and published by DC Comics.

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.

Starring Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Laurence Fishburne, Kevin Costner and Ayelet Zorer, Man of Steel is set to hit theatres on June 14, 2013.

BlackFlash - 5/26/2013, 11:39 AM
I watch all this tv spots on this site because this isn't being promoted in the uk, well not much i think i've seen 1 trailer twice and that was on the same day, since then nothing.

Looks good although the CGI looks bad in certain places, looks like a rage doll being tossed around and not in a good way, apart from that I cant wait.
MrCBM56 - 5/26/2013, 11:39 AM
@Batmaniac

If not the best, one of the best. With Snyder visuals and Nolan and Goyer story telling, it might be up there with The Dark Knight and The Avengers. MOS FTW!

Almost every year there's a new " best greatest CBM ever" with you guys^^

MoS looks [frick]ing epic though.
SpectacularJoShFest - 5/26/2013, 11:43 AM
You know what...I thought the joke WAS cleaver the first time I saw it...then it brought me back to one of the main problems I find in the Batman movies(the Nolan movies) and the problem is that they were avoiding to use the name "Batman" as much as they could,they DO say his name without making that extremely awkward pause between Bat and Man,but most of the time they just don't say it or they add the "The" so it sounds like they are actually calling him some kind of a beast instead of his name.
I did love that Batman actually called himself well...Batman when he introduces himself to Falcone,but I think Superman does not need that. Everyone should call him Superman and not "alien" or "THE (emphasise on the "THE")Man of Steel" or some other names.

Along with Avengers this is my most anticipated movie of all time and I really want people to call him Superman,that's his name and if people down at WB think it's silly or a lame name...I don't know.
Spidey91 - 5/26/2013, 11:44 AM
@MrCBM56

I just think some people are taking this movie WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too seriously, what's wrong with having some jokes in there?
ricko8687 - 5/26/2013, 11:46 AM
DC and WB seem to be stepping up their game
ElShumway - 5/26/2013, 11:47 AM

OH MY [frick]ING GAWD!!!!

Tajin88 - 5/26/2013, 11:49 AM
Jokes are always good, but not as much as it was like in IM3, that sucked hard. There are unwritten rules and one of them is: You never joke around, after someone probably died, you cared for. That took the movie down.
Physicslover - 5/26/2013, 11:49 AM
Should not watch anymore, but I can't stop watching.
EPIC!
CaptainObvious - 5/26/2013, 11:52 AM
This is what Zod looks like using heat vision:
Brainiac13 - 5/26/2013, 11:53 AM
Yeah when the world find out!!!! This will blow minds not like IM3 that blew shit!!!!!
