MAN OF STEEL Call Sheet Surfaces Online With Details Of The Opening Scenes

Spoilers! A call sheet for the new Superman movie has found its way online, and it reveals details about scenes that involve Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) and Jor-El (Russell Crowe).

Thanks to Superman: Man of Steel (2013) Facebook page for the heads up. The source of the call sheet is the Pittsburgh Movies Facebook page.

I was able to get some help on the transcription and what you will read below is their best attempt at deciphering the call sheet. Okay, so the first scene involves Clark in a bar where loggers like to frequent. This is a dive bar, the customers are a surly bunch as they like to throw beer cans and such. Clark will be confronted by someone named Ludlow, and he'll have to keep his anger in check.

Set/Scene Descriptions
In a bar, singer, background music, beer cans thrown, airmen will have beer on them. traces of snow. beers thrown, logging trucks, pickup trucks, snow mobiles

Ian Tracey is playing the role of Ludlow

Alright, and now it's time for the fun stuff. Number five in the call sheet refers to Superman's father Jor-El. The following information takes place on Krypton and it appears as though Jor-El has been wounded in battle by a sword, which is also referred to as an energy lance. Number 11 in the call sheet is referring to Lara, Superman's mother, while number 46 might be baby Superman, Kal-El. Before Jor-El and Lara say goodbye to their child, Jor-El will infuse something into his heart.

UPDATE: Sorry, but the image of the Autumn Frost call sheet and specific scenes have been removed at the request of the studio.

Man Of Steel, starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Russell Crowe, Laurence Fishburne with Christopher Meloni and Harry Lennix, the reboot is slated for theaters June 14th, 2013!

Canadian airmen, a base, tanks, an underwater shot and a stunts. House of El observatory sounds cool. Most just say house of El Observatory, but one included flashback.

Fortress of Solitude?
ThanagarianSnareBeast - 3/12/2012, 10:58 PM
I like how the Autumn Frost logo is in the style of the action comics logo.

Where's the trailer???!!!!!
BevM - 3/13/2012, 2:42 AM
No-one spotted the word "TOR-AN" in the cast, played by what looks like Rich Cerrone? Sleeper agent alias "David Carter" if I recall right. :o)

"When Zod and his followers were freed from the Phantom Zone, his second in command, Ursa, was charged with assigning five Krypontians as sleeper agents on Earth. Tor-An assumed the identity of a human entrepreneur named Carter, the CEO of the Empire Communications Network based out of Sydney Australia".

Along with Ian Tracey, we also get Stargate Universe alum Mike Dopud, fairly well-known folk singer Allison Crowe. Neat-o.

sorry folks, but if this is just another origin enemy fight moral punchline movie..

the formula is boring
HavocPrime - 3/13/2012, 3:30 AM
Looking forward to this one, and how can you judge that this will suck with only a few call sheets?
duncboy - 3/13/2012, 3:44 AM
I'm on the same page with Nick Cage with this - what kind of Superman story is this? Are they doing like the Medieval version of Superman?

duncboy - 3/13/2012, 3:47 AM
Number 1 = Supergirl maybe?
MovieMaster - 3/13/2012, 4:09 AM
Didn't Jor-El get stabhbed by Zod with a sword in that supposed leaked trailer description? Hmm...
SageMode - 3/13/2012, 4:47 AM
I'm not really excited for tis movie as I was before. Seeing as how this will be the 6th time we see Superman on the big screen. I wish DC/Warner Bros would grow some balls, develop a brain, and treat their other major characters with some respect. GET A [frick]ING FLASH MOVIE STARTED, GOT DAMMIT!!!!!!!
Marxman12 - 3/13/2012, 5:20 AM
@0SageMode0 Heck yes we need a Flash movie!
Grady - 3/13/2012, 5:32 AM
wow I love how people are condemning this as another Green Lantern based on an incredibly vague call sheet which probably describes a few scenes which are less than a minute or two long.

Snyder and Nolan will deliver lets see how the haters feel whe the first trailer blows us all away.
lukasbolander - 3/13/2012, 5:44 AM
I am more excited for this than the DKR
Lockjaw - 3/13/2012, 5:55 AM

I still think this will suck balls, I hope not as I loved the original superman movie & superman II but everything i've heard sounds like they're just redoing them like the boring shit-fest that was superman returns.
MrReese - 3/13/2012, 5:58 AM
Im sure this'll be an awesome movie XD
NeoBaggins - 3/13/2012, 6:37 AM
@Just1Superguy lol Good call.
ShadowOfTheWeb - 3/13/2012, 6:40 AM
hey so is the logo above official for MOS or just great photoshop? Im loving these new logo pics
ThaMessenger07 - 3/13/2012, 7:04 AM
I predict that Thor is going to pick up a Massive following and fan-base from Avengers.

Next Year, Thor 2 & MOS???? That will be true Competition!

Avengers and TDKR are not similar and are released over a month apart. Not to mention they are 2 different sub genres.
whatevillurks - 3/13/2012, 7:05 AM
The other baby could be supergirl.
hoodedjester - 3/13/2012, 7:17 AM
interesting but some studio released pics or a trailer would be better
SuperHamm - 3/13/2012, 7:24 AM
Now that Just1Superguy says Brainiac i'm thinking the same thing. It says Jor-El retrieves a Codex, then later says he infuses it in 46s heart. I'm thinking the Codex is the knowledge of Krypton and 46 is Brainiac. Now he may not be a villian in this movie but could be introduced as a set up for a sequel, maybe at the end we'll get a "Sinestro" type of ending with Brainiac, possibly due to interference from Zod.
thewonderer - 3/13/2012, 7:38 AM
I'm going to do a little explaining for the morons here

There are three major divisions of the film making process, aside from actors, effects, etc.

Now Snyders directing, he's excellent at providing the visionary style so thats good. Nolans producing AND writing. People Snyder HAS NOTHING to do with story. Pacing yes, but story is coming all from Nolan who is also heavily supervises

Why people are calling this Snyders movie over Nolan is beyond me
ADDICT - 3/13/2012, 7:56 AM
C! This movie is gonna suck, suck, suck, suck...i'm so disappointed.
Nolan is a producer and maybe advising a bit but that's it. It'll be a long time before we see anyone take another shot at Superman after this flop. zack snyder? who's idea was it to put that guy in charge?
catman - 3/13/2012, 8:10 AM
My god that guy that has the bit with Clark in the movie was in Smallville season 5 as a nut who wanted to kill Lionel Luthor right? What is up with all the Smallville actors getting Jobs in the movie? LOL!!
Lilvic92 - 3/13/2012, 8:12 AM
This movie will be way better than The Dark Knight Rises..this movie will actually have good action, and hopefully it won't be OVERrealistic and boring. I also hope they actually stay true to the characters and source material.
Supermanofsteel - 3/13/2012, 8:32 AM
to all avengers and marvel fans... you don't know the movie and you're comparing with green lantern hahaha... first look after your movies!!! we have nolan in this project... IN NOLAN WE TRUST
Ranger14 - 3/13/2012, 8:56 AM
So, they are replacing the diner scene in the original film with a roadhouse scene.
SUPERSHADOWBAT - 3/13/2012, 9:27 AM
Even though Superman is the most recognizable and famous fictional character in the world, there are still people who aren't familiar with his origins and background. Remember there will be new fans, so you have to give them a little into where he's from and what gives him his motivation in life. If they learned from past mistakes they will know not to drag that part out, they'll keep it short snd give us the action oriented Superman we all have been waiting to see. Don't judge it on a couple of pages of scenes, it's premature.
SUPERSHADOWBAT - 3/13/2012, 9:30 AM
MOS FTW! Nuff said!
Ranger14 - 3/13/2012, 9:50 AM
My bad, I meant the second film. But yes. Powers or not, someone bullies him and he can't or doesn't do anything according to this. I guess we will see.
JM4Superman - 3/13/2012, 10:06 AM
Man of Steel All The Way
TurdFergunson - 3/13/2012, 10:30 AM
how can you douchers tell this movie is gonna suck just from a single call sheet? really? i mean really?

marantaz - 3/13/2012, 11:19 AM
You know, I think every person on Earth, even members of the Taliban, know the origin story of Superman... do we really need to see another version of it? Why cant' the studio realize that it's time to bring him to modern times in the movies and give him a villian who will actually make the audience believe there's a possibility Supes could lose? If they're just retelling the origin (again), aren't they in effect saying that the CGI and effects will make it a better movie than the last one, since it's the same story, regardless of the little changes they make? Aren't they doing what everyone complains about Bay doing in Transformers? I want every CBM to succeed... I just don't think this is the smart way to get that done.
