THOR: THE DARK WORLD's Jaimie Alexander Talking with WB/DC About BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN

While the actress has lobbied for Wonder Woman, Jaimie Alexander has reportedly taken the next step in crossing over from Marvel's Thor universe to a role in DC's Batman Vs. Superman. Check it out!

The Bleeding Cool crew got the jump on the news, but Forbes blogger Mark Hughes apparently spoke with Jaimie Alexander during the Comikaze Expo today and received quite an intriguing bit of info from the Thor: The Dark World actress. While Alexander has previously teased a big future for her Asgardian Goddess, Lady Sif, she now "confirms" that another Thor installment is happening. But that's not the big news. It seems the 29-year-old is in talks for another comic book venture outside Marvel's Universe. Hughes posted to Twitter: "Jaimie Alexander has been having "conversations" w/ WB/DC. She also knows things a/b BATMAN VS SUPERMAN's story."

Jaimie Alexander has been considered a longtime fan-favorite for DC's Wonder Woman, who's rumored to join Batman Vs. Superman. And the actress has even went on record expressing her hopes for a "modern" take on the Amazon Princess. Of course, she could be talking with the studio about another role, and likely there're other actresses in contention. But, if these "conversations" she's having become negotiations, she'd aptly join Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne in the Zack Snyder-directed Man of Steel sequel. What do you think?

DEVLIN712 - 11/1/2013, 4:55 PM
She'd make such a Wonder Woman, not that I think that she'll be in it, not excluding the possibility of an after-credits scene...

typicalfanboy - 11/1/2013, 5:06 PM
if she gets wonder woman, good. no big deal, but cramming in all those characters with a superman who we barely know is a bad move. don't rush things. i hope she's going to be mercy or someone like that.
bazinga85 - 11/1/2013, 5:12 PM

So she will play Wonder Woman and Sif ? (Thor 3 with Surtur Enchantress and Beta Ray Bill is a giving)
Maybe this will bring peace to the Marvel vs DC/WB war

MrCBM56 - 11/1/2013, 5:33 PM
[frick] yeah!!! I don't care if she's been in Marvel movies, Marvel [frick]ed up Sif anyways by under using her and not having the proper relationship with Thor.
gambgel - 11/1/2013, 5:33 PM
this gets interesting

I dont like actors playing two different heroes, but maybe... just maybe, this would be a great exception.

Still would like an unkonwn to surprise us all, but lets see what happens
