In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

The Soundtrack is truly Epic!

Jollem - 6/29/2013, 5:54 PM
i don't know if this has been posted here before, but i just learned that danny carey from Tool was part of the score. [frick]in' awesome!
ManCalledSting - 6/29/2013, 6:05 PM
I just saw it today.....
ManCalledSting - 6/29/2013, 6:07 PM
It wasn't a bad movie, but idk.
ManCalledSting - 6/29/2013, 6:11 PM
I didn't like the fact that Lois figured out he was Clark Kent, but Big Brother didn't. I also didn't like how she called him Clark numerous time while he was wearing the suit. The action was good, the story was there but alittle thin.
Jollem - 6/29/2013, 6:11 PM
@HeadCreeps - my brother told me about it a little while ago. he's a huger tool and superman fan than me, so i guess that's what happens :) i kinda-not-really met danny carey once with my brother and some friends. he was playing drums for a perfect circle in the twin cities. was waking around the building after the show, getting harassed by a fan. we caught up to him, asked for a few seconds of his time. friend just asked about the next tool album, brother said he was one of the best drummers. i just pointed at him like "yes, you the man". he didn't seem that irked by us. dude is friggin' tall
ManCalledSting - 6/29/2013, 6:13 PM
He just happened to decide to go to that ship the same time the army, with Lois show up?
LexHairFight - 6/29/2013, 6:28 PM
@Jollem, fear not, no one here will ever think anyone is a bigger tool than you.
LexHairFight - 6/29/2013, 6:28 PM
^Oh, you said 'bigger Tool fan'...
LexHairFight - 6/29/2013, 6:30 PM
Finally seeing it tonight. Can't wait.

That was an awesome video. Really ingenius guy so build all those makeshift instruments out of junk basically. And shows how Hans really is unique in his scoring approach.

The MoS score is one of his best works imho. The new Superman theme has been in my head for weeks.
seantwakafilmyguy - 6/29/2013, 7:17 PM
Holy damn that is cool.
AztecaAguilar04 - 6/29/2013, 7:36 PM
And that ladies & gentlemen is why Hans Zimmer is one of the best! He really went all out on Collaborating with people in various Musical Backgrounds! It really brought the whole score to life in the film, Can't wait to see what he does in the sequel.
Bodwulf - 6/29/2013, 7:38 PM
Still love the orginal theme wish they could have mixed it in with the new score somehow.

AmazingFantasy - 6/29/2013, 7:42 PM

JoeMomma29 - 6/29/2013, 8:04 PM
Awesome movie!!!! And no trolls so far!!!!!
subzero1077 - 6/29/2013, 9:00 PM
MoS had one of the greatest scores I've ever heard. As a drummer I love the percussion.
IronSpider101 - 6/29/2013, 9:12 PM
I thought the score was completely forgettable. Which is surprising considering it's a Zimmer score.

But oh well, can't win 'em all.
KingSilence - 6/29/2013, 9:18 PM
Incredible artform
Knightrider - 6/29/2013, 9:28 PM
He found the ship because he heard the army guys talking about its discovery.
Grabthemcakes - 6/29/2013, 10:19 PM
The score was awesome! So glad Zimmer got this job as it really added to the movie.

The thing with Superman is everyone has their own idea what he should be. Me personally, I absolutely loved MOS. While some people can't get over what they call holes I honestly think this is the best superhero movie since DK.

This movie really made you think what it would be like to be Superman. Exploring the alien aspect was awesome. I also love the realistic tone this movie had. I truly cared about the characters. Those complaining their was not enough chemistry between Superman & Lois or complaining Lois didn't have a big enough part: The chemistry was just fine and with Superman & Lois working as a team! I like it much better with Lois knowing who Superman is and can do without all the Daily Planet soap opera.

Best Superhero movies in the past 3 years:

1. DKR
2. MOS
3. Avengers
4. X-Men 1st Class
6. Thor
7. Captain America
8. IM3
9. Green Lantern
10. Ghost Rider: SOV
endy99 - 6/29/2013, 10:24 PM
Superman is the guy who helps Lois with her luggage getting out of the chopper.
yonny616 - 6/29/2013, 10:27 PM
Everytime I hear the "Flight" score I just smile.
rusty28 - 6/29/2013, 11:28 PM
The score sucked
I forgot it before I left the theater

The movie was ok in a Transformers sort of way
one big explosion is how I'd describe it
patrat18 - 6/29/2013, 11:40 PM

rusty28 no avengers copied tranformers not mos
rusty28 - 6/29/2013, 11:49 PM
If it makes you sleep better keep lying to yourself
but the jealousy is obvious
Avengers is like the final act of a long film (phase 1)

MOS is one big final act with nothing else
no heart, no brains, no personality
Hey it's cool watching shit blow up so no complaints
too bad nobody cared about the characters
MightyZeus - 6/29/2013, 11:54 PM
Arcade is my personal favorite but the rest of the score was pretty awesome.

Man of Steel had a better score than The Avengers. Alan Silvestri aint better than Hans Zimmer.
113 - 6/29/2013, 11:58 PM
..and there is the first troll.

rusty28 - 6/30/2013, 12:28 AM
troll? what's a troll?
Am I not talking about the subject at hand?

Or do I have to kiss the ass of what's being talked about in order to not be a troll?
So anything negative or borderline is trolling?

bitch please
