Warner Bros. has just released this new clip from Superman vs. The Elite, which highlights the battle between the Man of Steel and the Atomic Skull on the streets of Metropolis. The film will be released on June 12th.

this animation looks chunky and horribly off.......and as a Superman fan, i never could stand this story for multiple reasons...........One, it misunderstood and perverted what The Authority was (came out in 2001 when they were still hugely popular)...and read as an apologist take on Superman. blah. DC movies are hit and miss, this has total signs of a miss.

I think being passed out on the ground covered in lager and curry also makes you look British.

Superman very aggressive in this clip, knows who he's dealing with. This style of animation not my favorite, but if the story and action are good, I can get into it. Newbern has a good Superman voice.

Saw the cartoon yesterday. Very awesome. The End battle makes the whole movie worthwhile. You get used to the animation by the middle of the movie.

I couldn't possibly be any less excited for this to save my life. Such ugly simplistic animation, feels like the 90ies are back with a vengeance.

Like the clip. Like the animation. Only thing that got me was Supermam causing a little more destruction than needed. I can understand if he punches or throws a guy and theres a building in the way. But dragging his head across rooftops seemed a little overboard lol. Like c'mon Supe. Who's gonna clean that up haha.

I am pretty much finished buying/renting/reading any type of Superman media where they still dress him in those stupid looking trunks. When they stop dressing him like an asshole I will start buying their animated movies again.

I saw this a few days ago, it was pretty good. I like the debate between the characters and how they're bad guys who aren't really bad guys. They are hero's who are needed, at least in a lot of people’s opinions, in a more modern world with different ideologies. I think everyone at one point or another can relate to these characters and what they stand for and what they want to do.

Also for the people complaining about whatever, character design, animation, voice actors, etc. Stop crying it is better than nothing.

Watched it yesterday! it was fun I just couldn't get past Supe's chin. It was Huge! The comic story was of course better and itbegins2005 is right they should have had the style look more like Mahnke's art! I just wish they had the balls to invest in a hour and a half to 2 hour cartoon based on Kingdom Come!!!!!

the animation seems weaker than what we are use to for DC. But it is good to see him in his full costume and they didn't go with the dorky looking shortsless version or make him into a young kid version of Superman like the comics did

anime is a snooty word for badass hehe i mean like the motion style of dbz or naruto. you get a good sense of speed with those. i dont mean as far as superman yelling out "super lazer eyes!" before he blasts something

Some of the more detailed reviews did mention how character development could've been better in certain areas. From what I heard the film itself is over all good; the biggest problem seems to be that it takes sometime to adjust the animation. I do believe that they made a bad decision when it comes to the animation style. Judging by most comments, the animation is the biggest turn off and I wish they would've gone with a style at least closer say Batman: year one, Under the Red Hood heck even Green Lantern and Wonder Woman's animation was better.
