Man Of Steel Teaser Trailer -Sean Connery Version

This was just a small re-edit i did of the original trailer. I tried to have some fun with it so I attempted to do a Connery version . I did the narration so my apologies if it's a little off.

A two horse race no doubt....but TDK should win here.

Always surprises me that so many people pick Avengers over Iron Man. Avengers was fantastic fun, but Iron Man was the better movie.
StarkAnthony - 5/29/2013, 8:08 AM
The Dark Knight is barely a superhero movie. It's a really good movie, but not a really good superhero movie.
DCMultiverse - 5/29/2013, 8:16 AM
I love my DC, but The Avengers did something no other film before it had accomplished. Brought a bunch of bad ass heroes together and was epic. I am not a fan of Nolan's Batman. The whole removing it from the comic universe as a personal take on the character killed it for me. Too many damn liberal thinkers in Hollywood that stopped continued progress into a DCU. Hopefully MOS finally proves DC and WB have woke up and took notice of what Marvel has done! So Yes, I am neither a Nolanite or a DC Fanboy. I want both companies to continue to kick ass!
sintzu - 5/29/2013, 8:21 AM
the dark knight trilogy

I love both sides of the coin but categorically I can't classify Nolan's Batman as a "superhero" so thus The Dark Knight to me is the BEST COMIC BOOK MOVIE but alas BEST SUPERHERO MOVIE would be The Avengers with Spider-Man 2 as a close second.

Everybody realizes though that Man of Steel looks like it will be not only the Best Superhero film but also Best Comic Book movie to date based on what we have seen thus far.

Now why can't I say Nolan's Batman is a superhero ? because nobody in their right mind thinks that Nolan's Batman could stand side by side with a Justice League. Cannot go toe to toe with a Killer Croc or Solomon Grundy. He barely got by the Joker who was presented as a homicidal suicidal maniac without billions of dollars of tech and a Luscious Fox at his side. Just the same that Punisher isn't a SUPERHERO. Batman as presented in animation is a SUPERHERO not because he has powers but because he neutralizes other people's powers with wit intelligence and strength of will. He is mentally the toughest hero in comics. Give us a Justice League caliber Batman and then yes that film will be the greatest superhero film.

The dark knight was more intelligent than the avengers, it felt like the movie was catering to me as a mature adult batman fan rather than the kiddies in audience. While the avengers was certainly a fun movie that I really enjoyed it didn't treat me like an intelligent person and it felt kind of dumbed down to appeal to everyone. TDK proves that you don't have to dumb down your source material for ticket
Sales, I just hope future avengers films and mcu films take this aproach too. Here's hoping MAN OF STEEL is somewhat intelligent.
TheBaroness89 - 5/29/2013, 8:29 AM
A costume doesn't make a SUPERHERO- then for that matter we are calling Kick Ass a superhero.
Blue1Lantern - 5/29/2013, 8:29 AM
No Blade? wahhh, blows TDK out the water.
TheBaroness89 - 5/29/2013, 8:40 AM
the distinction had to be made because so many people think Nolan's Batman version somehow could share the same universe as Superman. He can't.
As for Spider-Man 2- its not Raimi love its observance of a good movie. I would go with Iron Man 1 but the drama/humor/action scale is unbalanced. Batman Begins- good movie but I didn't need a film about Ras Al Ghul. Blade 1 is great as is The Crow but not better than SM2.
TheBaroness89 - 5/29/2013, 8:41 AM
I don't even think Nolan would say he made a "superhero" film. He created a fantastic crime drama trilogy centered on characters from a comic book.
willyburz - 5/29/2013, 8:44 AM
The Avengers, yhen a toss up between Iron Man 1 and Batman Begins.
SUPERSHADOWBAT - 5/29/2013, 9:01 AM
The Dark Knight and The Avengers second.
robsncoppers - 5/29/2013, 9:08 AM
Stop voting The Dark Knight. He's not a hero. He's whatever Gotham needs him to be.
marvel72 - 5/29/2013, 9:28 AM

CaptainAmerica31 - 5/29/2013, 9:30 AM
^^^^LOLOLOLOL anyways TDK is regarded as one of the est films of all time. Seriously look it up( but it's an opinion) but a movie like TDK being a CBM and one of the best movies it has to be the best.
Lizardking310 - 5/29/2013, 9:37 AM
That's funny iron man 3 zero votes! Where's all that marvel fan boy love it was getting
Ramiel - 5/29/2013, 9:38 AM

lucio7lopez - 5/29/2013, 10:04 AM
The Dark Knight!!!!!!
lucio7lopez - 5/29/2013, 10:05 AM
I like Superman the movie. Nostalgic!
This same poll in 2014: MAN OF STEEL.
TheFox - 5/29/2013, 10:05 AM
The best? Not my favorite, not the most fun or the most faithful, but the BEST, in as objective of a sense as possible?

THE DARK KNIGHT. No contest (IMO, anyway).

I loved The Avengers, but TDK just seemed more fleshed out as a film than Whedon's opus. They're both amazing, but Avengers just seems like it places more emphasis on the "comic book", while TDK emphasizes the "movie".

MAN OF STEEL :)
SageMode - 5/29/2013, 10:34 AM
Heath Ledger singlehandedly made the Dark Knight trilogy memorable among the general public. Don't front.

The Avengers. It was an awesome movie experience that has NEVER been done before. Making the mold of the CBM shared cinematic universe that WB/DC and Fox is trying to cash cow on.
Action - 5/29/2013, 11:53 AM
the dark knight. I have never seen a superhero movie that made me cringe and had intense scenes.
Nomis1800 - 5/29/2013, 11:57 AM
avengers sucked
fattieacid - 5/29/2013, 12:24 PM
No one ever appreciated Batman Begins.. my favourite CBM
killerkooljames - 5/29/2013, 12:30 PM
TDK was by far the best CBM film.
VIRILEMAN - 5/29/2013, 12:48 PM
The Avengers. EASY. I like to have fun when I go to the movies. Not have the film makers try to teach me a lesson.
VIRILEMAN - 5/29/2013, 12:48 PM
And The Avengers is the most fun I've EVER had at a movie in my entire life.
silverdog - 5/29/2013, 1:13 PM
since there wasn't any SUPERhero in the whole dark knight trilogy, I´ll go with the avengers.
UltimateHunt - 5/29/2013, 1:58 PM
tdk the was a CBM? i though it was a NOLAN movie. thats how i see it. tdk is more as a epic film and avengers an EPIC CBM of All time. nuff said
iPaul - 5/29/2013, 2:02 PM
The Dark Knight .
Jer3miah - 5/29/2013, 2:14 PM
Finally... JUSTICE! THE DARK KNIGHT!
GarthRanzz - 5/29/2013, 2:52 PM
I voted Dark Knight Rises. It was more based off comics than Dark Knight in my opinion. I would've considered V if it made this list.
ranger75 - 5/29/2013, 3:28 PM
TDK > Avengers
Steelgoat - 5/29/2013, 4:44 PM
For me, it was bloody hard to pick between TDK and Avengers. I watch both incessantly. I ended up picking TDK because, although I feel Avengers is the best comic-book movie, TDK edges out in front by being a greater film overall.
