Little Man of Steel

This is a trailer for a new Superman fan film by director Larry Ziegelman. It is about Lois and Clark shopping for a condom after a date.

Lone ranger made it. I'm done.
EpitomeofAwesome - 12/5/2013, 7:39 PM
Gravity is most likely going to get it, but Man of Steel should be there instead of Lone Ranger

I believe "Man if Steel" was better than "Iron man 3", "Thor the Dark World", and comparable to "Star Trek Into Darkness". But it was abviously 15 times better than "The Lone Ranger" In every way possible! I mean that's just unbelievable!

Thank [frick] no one is voting World War Shit

An award for visuals, Pacific Rim all day.

I haven't seen Elysium or Oblivion, but among the others I can safely say that Gravity will most likely win and totally deserves it. If not Gravity than Pacific Rim, but the Academy would never give it to Pacific Rim if they had an excuse to give it to something like Gravity. Geez though, The Lone Ranger? Really? Man Of Steel way above The Lone Ranger.

Gravity and TDW, to me, had the best visuals this year.

Thor The Dark World or Gravity.
Maestro - 12/5/2013, 9:26 PM
And notice the "Warner Brothers Pictures and Legendary Pictures Pacific Rim"

No other one has producers listed. Telling the DC fans which one to choose eh? You sly bastard. Lol

there's NOTHING we haven't seen b'fore in Man of Steel.. The Lone Ranger..i seem to remember some of the action scenes that were surprisingly quite good..but considering it's got kaiju-sized budget, they should have more of em.
world war word..SCALE.

but my prediction of a TOP 3 nominations:
- Gravity (the obvious winner, this year)
- Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug..c'mon..they won't be that stingy with revealing of the dragon if it's not as awesome as it's hyped up to be
- Pacific Rim..robots vs. my case.

BUT..if the academy were to pick FIVE noms this year, then the last two spots should belong to: one marvel movie (thor 2 or iron man 3) and a toss between elysium and oblivion (a futuristic earth-themed flicks)

I haven't seen The Hobbit, Star Trek or Lone Ranger, but for the scenes in Israel alone World War Z gets my vote from the rest.

i am Marvel Fan, but thats really not fair, Man of steel definitively deserve a place for the Krypton parts alone..I mean they have put Lone ranger in it? c' m on!! It shows again what are the oscar always been about..the little movie mafia they v been running..BOOOHOOO

I'll bet most of your dissing Lone Ranger haven't even seen it. M.O.S wasn't that impressive...
Pharaoh - 12/6/2013, 9:12 AM
Also if you haven't seen Lone Ranger but are speaking down on it you really are pretty dumb...

I have totally seen The Lone Ranger. Was really disappointed with it. Wasn't innovative enough fer me to be considered for the Oscar- or any Oscar by far....but I still think Depp was cool as usual. Man Of Steel over TLR Any day for the Oscar. In fact, there were some pretty impressive effects in Man Of Steel, but on the other hand, there were a lot of effects shots that we've either seen way too often before or, as in the case with Kal-El's first flight when he's zipping between the mountains and over plains etc, just didn't look real. I was surprised by that (albeit still visually impressive) fail; kinda liked the flight effects in Superman Returns better. How Man Of Steel couldn't even top Superman Returns in this regard was kinda mind-boggling fer me. I think maybe they spent too much money on other effects- Oh, Lord, had they ditched the whole 'Let's Destroy 3 quarters of Metropolis' deal and put all their nuts in the 'Let's Make Superman's Flying Put All Other Superhero Flights To Shame', then they'd have an Oscar nod....?
Lem1 - 12/6/2013, 10:17 AM
Dude, that's brilliant! (Hahahahahahah)
BlindJustice - 12/7/2013, 1:08 AM
A shame that Man of Steel got snubbed and The Lone Ranger got the nod. I guess they had to stick a couple 'family-friendly' movies in there and decided Supes just wasn't family-friendly enough. "Look, Mom! Superman just killed the bad guy!" >_<

Gravity will win it because it's geared more towards the common movie crowd...and deals with something closer to real life. I personally don't watch any awards shows anymore because I could care less if some group of people awards a movie I don't really care about. If my favorite movie wins an award so what? It's not going to make me like the movie even more.

Sorry to rain on your article's parade, but the Oscar's are really only about which female shows up in the hottest or most non-existent dress anyway. I'll read about it in EW.
