I'm actually pretty pumped to see this..
DrKinsolving - 7/5/2014, 6:30 AM
I can't help it, I still think Shrek, especially when he takes of the mask at the end of the trailer.

It should be entertaining though

They look like they're out of the Scooby Doo live action movies. They look fake. At least with the rubber suits I believed that they were standing there. It looks like a trailer for a video game not a movie with actors in it. I'm still wondering when Al Sharpton is going to take issue with their appearance as well.
AlexanderLykins - 7/5/2014, 6:46 AM
Hopefully people don't pay their good money to see this poop.
CrimsonFlash - 7/5/2014, 6:47 AM
I feel like I'm being tricked into thinking this movie is going to be ok/good. When I'm quite certain it won't be.

That said how much do the turtles weight that everywhere they land concrete breaks and cracks? seems silly
MikeZ - 7/5/2014, 7:27 AM
Jack Trammell's trailer music is so nondescript. Glad this film isn't getting a lot of love.
Maia87 - 7/5/2014, 7:49 AM
Same fainting scene over and over...
batmanvsuperman - 7/5/2014, 7:50 AM
This movie will be [frick]ing amazing
WachuOptu - 7/5/2014, 8:29 AM
It is bothering me that they look really enormous. In the comic they were smaller - like four or five feet tall. Martial arts were created by smaller people. There is a contextual power implied by something small defeating a muich larger foe, larger not only in numbers but in physical size. Hollywood seems to hate male heroes under 6 feet tall (except hobbits, I suppose).

Also, I have yet to see Megan Fox actually "act"... like an actor might.
JredTheRed - 7/5/2014, 8:29 AM
I've hated everything about this movie since day one. However, now that they arent aliens and shredder isn't fichtner, i do become curious actually. ill prob watch a bootleg first to see if its worth paying to see.
AsgardianHobo - 7/5/2014, 8:35 AM
Michael Bay is gonna Michael Bay. 80% of the people will think it is mediocre/shitty or barely passable, while all the kids will eat it up.
KallarkKent - 7/5/2014, 8:48 AM
As of right now I am leaning towards watching Guardians a second time that weekend.
Invictor - 7/5/2014, 9:18 AM

Shredder is not American in this film, it was debunked in the recent trailer and also Liebesman did WRATH of the Titans, not Clash.
Invictor - 7/5/2014, 9:22 AM

Michael Bay is producing, he's not directing, that's Liebesman's job.
GL - 7/5/2014, 9:25 AM
The more I see of the film the more I like it.
jimdotbeep - 7/5/2014, 9:33 AM
Michael Bay and his Horrific abominations can all go to Hell
MatTaylorX - 7/5/2014, 9:35 AM
I love TMNT, but they look terrible. No hope for the movie.
jimdotbeep - 7/5/2014, 9:37 AM
@Superior are you really going to stand by argument that Michael Bay isn't responsible for this train wreck. Are we supposed to think that Shredder looking like a Bay transformerer and the turtles appearances wrecking of Michael Bay's Trademark racism and incompetence is just some kind of coincidence?

Grow a brain dumbass
sinthegreat - 7/5/2014, 9:51 AM
Sadly this film will make tons of money
PeterParker1991 - 7/5/2014, 10:38 AM
I don't care how well the film does money wise, it won't ever beat the original (two) 90's films. EVER

I wish they did the Battle Toads movie one day :P or the Extreme Dinosaurs
GenerationX - 7/5/2014, 2:11 PM
I saw no new footage. Looks the same to me

I've been super pumped up to see this movie for quite some time now. I think the turtles looks great & the special f/x incredible. I'm just wondering now what this is gonna be rated. I'm hoping it lands a pg-13 rating. I also hope it proves all the nay-sayer's wrong.

Look here jackass, I don't know who you think you're talking to, but there better be another Superior on this damn site because you're about to get your ass handed. Unless you were behind the scenes or production making this film, then you can prove me wrong and call me a dumbass. But let's be honest, you're not doing anything with your life anytime soon. Sure, we can all jump to conclusions. Jumping to conclusions is fun. But what if I jumped to conclusions and called you an ignorant sweaty dick-riding nolanite that [frick]s his hand more than he talks to any person and plays it safe by releasing how he feels online? Even though it's pretty accurate, you wouldn't roll with that shit would you? Now, I'm pretty sure that you're butthurt over that new Transformers because that's probably all you were looking forward to in life, but just because he's a producer and Michael Bay, you don't have to be insecure and blame everything on him. Bay isn't responsible for this trainwreck because since Liebesman is a director, the film is told in his vision and outlook.
Invictor - 7/5/2014, 3:18 PM
When Bay is announced as the screenwriter and director for this film, then you can call him responsible for this supposed "trainwreck" you've already seen.
JackRyan9859 - 7/5/2014, 3:38 PM
@jimdotbeep... wrecking of Bay's racism? You mean reeking??
DavidChen26 - 7/5/2014, 5:06 PM

Sell them toys!!!! Dank this is going to be sad. I understand transformers but TMNT has been done and please make this movie amazing.
PointOfGeeks - 7/5/2014, 6:53 PM
It can't really be that bad...Can it?
damntree - 7/5/2014, 8:09 PM
Sethasa - "Martial arts were created by smaller people."

Lol, wtf?
jimdotbeep - 7/6/2014, 9:22 AM
@Superior So now you're going to give the tired old argument that it's somehow impossible to tell a movies quality from the Trailer. Since your too dumb to figure any of this out let me explain a few things The Turtles look more horrific than most horror movie monsters. There is going to be a white guy in the shredder armor which apparently stole from Saki. Not to mention certain calling cards of racist black people stereotype in the turtles themselves. Megan Fox is playing the female lead and this is just going to be more constant explosions to distract from the lack of a good story.

And about Michael Bay's producer's role somehow not effecting the film or its quality. The producer has the final say on EVERYTHING in a movie. If you can't see all the hallmarks of Bay's "style" in the trailers and promotional material you must be retarded. But I'm sure rather than come up with counter arguments to anything I've said thus far you'll retaliate with more bullshit you've made up about my personal life.

uvsk420 - 7/6/2014, 12:12 PM

Invictor - 7/6/2014, 4:42 PM

Lol, look here you dumb [frick]. You put the same classification for the turtles with, and I quote directly from you, "horror movie monsters". You automatically should walk around with the certified dumbass label on you. And you should start looking at the news on here, it was posted that he was NOT the Shredder. You must be [frick]ing blind or deaf if you didn't see the moment where Sachs said he was improving Saki's armor. And I don't see any type of stereotyping in this film thus far. That's who Raphael is, idiot. And saying that a producer is not responsible for the overall product of a film is not saying that the producer has no involvement in the film whatsoever.

And dude, you keep jumping from conclusions when you barely know shit what's gonna go down in the film, especially since you can barely comprehend a trailer.

Just shut the [frick] up and think about what you said for a minute. You should just stop.
jimdotbeep - 7/6/2014, 6:03 PM
@Supior if you're really so Brian dead you think there is even a remote possibility this movie could be good you probably shouldn't be allowed to operate heavy machinery. Let me guess you think the Transformers movies were good too.

Since you can't see this movie has done everything in the style of all of Michael Bay's movies right down to the obligatory inclusion of Megan fox (I'm sure that another coincidence right?) even though it is clear as day let me explain a few more things Having a blonde blue eyed guy steel Saki's armor so he can be the villain instead of saki still reeks of racism, The leader of the foot clan being taken down before anything even starts so we can have a white is v\bullshit. as is the ridiculously large fu man chu splitter has in one scene of the trailer. And the turtles wearing clothes associated with inner city urban youth and having ridiculously large lips (something turtles mutated or otherwise aren't supposed to have)is also bullshit.

Oh and word to the wise using negative comic book nerd stereotypes in a comic book movie website comment section isn't very smart. You're not going to get much traction with anyone that way. If you hate comic book fans so much and don't care about respect for source material this website is probably not for you.

Invictor - 7/6/2014, 7:50 PM

Dude, shut up talking to me about this movie that you haven't seen that you're acting like you have. You're illiterate as [frick]. And dude, you're like talking to a wall. When shit is sent towards you, I don't know where it goes. You think everything is racist and you think everything is stereotyping. You don't address any of the arguments I make, so you're invalid.
jimdotbeep - 7/6/2014, 11:29 PM
@Superior yes yet another personal attack to cover up that you can't back up anything you have to say. all you know how to do is just cuss and and make inarticulate insults. It's no wonder you're a Michael Bay fan.
