Based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Characters Created by PETER LAIRD and KEVIN EASTMAN with a Screenplay by JOSH APPELBAUM & ANDRÉ NEMEC and EVAN DAUGHERTY, Producer MICHAEL BAY (the blockbuster Transformers franchise) and director JONATHAN LIEBESMAN (Wrath of the Titans) bring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the popular franchise that has captivated audiences of all ages for decades, into the 21st century.

yossarian - 7/28/2014, 1:32 PM
That was awful.
kaijunexus - 7/28/2014, 1:33 PM
In what universe is this song simply a ridiculous parody and not attached to a multi-million dollar movie as if it's supposed to be taken seriously...because that's where I want to live.

Tbh I love the thought of this. It really takes me back...

ManofSteel23 - 7/28/2014, 1:41 PM
usually we this kind of movie, surely they would have music that the turtles would possibly listen to, like guardians, I dont think they would listen to this shit
SuperDude001 - 7/28/2014, 1:42 PM
I'm not going to lie, I think this song is terrible even if the movie is better than expected...but it is growing on me. The only thing I think is awful about this video is the artist physically showed themselves. Like they're pretty unknown (at least to me) and if they just did the song they could still have a career but now everyone will remember them for this.
Still think they should've done a modern version of the 80s tune.

the imagery with the turtle stuffs was cool
DeathAdder - 7/28/2014, 1:47 PM
So 23 years ago a ninja turtles movie had a sh!tty rap song with an untalented hack rapping it (or whatever in the hell they call it b/c that for damn sure isn't singing) and now another ninja turtles movie is coming out with even more untalented hacks making "music" to go along with it.

I was hyped for this movie, but if I'm going have to listen to rap throughout the movie, I'll pass.

No one will remember them for this. They all have huge careers by now, at least in the rap genre. I don't like any of them, but Wiz will probably be remembered for "Black & Yellow". Juicy J for "Bandz a Make Her Dance", and Ty Dolla $ign for "Or Nah", unless they come out with bigger hits which they probably will.

Anyway, this song is bull. Kendrick Lamar (Leonardo), Schoolboy Q (Donatello), A$AP Rocky (Raph), and Childish Gambino (Mikey) should've done this.

Go Ninja, Go Ninja, Go!

The best song Ice ever did.

Not even going to torture myself by watching the video. Just wanted to read the comments lol.

SuperDude001 - 7/28/2014, 2:11 PM
@TheReddestHood Yeah huge careers now, and then they release this meaning they're more likely to be remembered for the corniness of their latest thing rather than their past achievements. To a general film audience they'll be remembered for this, you're right that not in the rap genre but in the general masses I think this is what people will remember them for cause they will remember a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie more than one older good rap song (unless specifically that individual are more heavily into the genre of music)
pestulio07 - 7/28/2014, 2:13 PM
"All dis green in my pockets you can call it turtle powuh"

....so "turtle power" is slang for money now? I um, I don't think so.
kong - 7/28/2014, 2:19 PM

The GA probably won't see this video. This song will probably be featured once the credits roll and the people who know the artist will recognize their voices and the other people won't care enough to look up who did the song because their names won't pop up on screen any time soon. This isn't a career defining moment for any of them. You'll just remember them for this because you don't know the artist.

I'm sorry, but you're completely wrong. This video has 5,040 views dude.
Niklander - 7/28/2014, 2:21 PM
I dig it it has a cool beat
jimdotbeep - 7/28/2014, 2:21 PM
One of the worst songs I've ever heard in my life.
TheAbomination - 7/28/2014, 2:26 PM
That shit was laughably bad, which is also what this movie's gonna be.
spidey1994 - 7/28/2014, 2:29 PM
What the [frick] does the song have to do with the Turtles?! There just rapping about cars and money and throwing in some Turtle references here and there to some of worst lyrics I've ever heard in my life!

"Nunchuck doors"

WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?! At least Turtle Power and Ninja Rap were about the Turtles!
TheSonicScrew - 7/28/2014, 2:31 PM
Whaetever about the rap, the chorus has a great catchy chord progression. If that's worked into the score it'd be good. Also apparently Ireland & UK don't get this movie until 17th October?!?

anthonok - 7/28/2014, 2:33 PM
Couldn't finish it.
NightForce - 7/28/2014, 2:43 PM
I like the beat but the song has shit to do with the turtles.
SnapperCarr - 7/28/2014, 2:43 PM
The best movie tie in song is from Men in Black.

SinisterMister - 7/28/2014, 2:44 PM
SuperDude001 - 7/28/2014, 2:46 PM
@TheReddestHood Not career defining cause it's not gonna get much better for them globally, so all it can do it make it a little bit worse. And frankly we're both arguing probabilities. I'm arguing through the intention of the video, the reason the actually do these things in movies is for the general audience. It's not money, it's a marketing plot for the general audience so in my opinion the artists are doomed to begin with. It's not going to ruin their careers, they won't be remembered JUST FOR THIS but it's damn hard to get a good reputation afterwards. People may forget it, but they'll remember the bad feeling of the artists.
And yesh this only has roughly 5000 views...that's my point. They're not too big now, and this ain't helping.
WinterSoldier33 - 7/28/2014, 2:47 PM
The beat was good and ty dollas part was ok. All 3 must have Been high on something because this song sucks.
huckfinnisher - 7/28/2014, 2:55 PM
Knock knock you about to get shell shocked, g0d [email protected] Seriously, these people get paid for this trash? A half tard with partial motor skills could write a more interesting hook, oh and they ryme it wonderfully with the next verse just the same thing hip hop is fvckin dead and all the morons who listen to this filth strangled it to death. F these sh¡te rappers.
JatevinM - 7/28/2014, 3:02 PM
Say what you want but its a fun song thats meant to be catchy. Juicy J bringing the Memphis style to the mainstream
soforizo - 7/28/2014, 3:04 PM
I like its beat.
BaneNascent - 7/28/2014, 3:15 PM
I don't know what to say about it.....other then I want that guy doing the first part to do the whole song by himself.

Can't put my finger on it but.......something isn't right.
PeterParker1991 - 7/28/2014, 3:21 PM
Nice beat/rhythm and artwork.. lyrics.. not so much
kong - 7/28/2014, 3:29 PM

The video has 5,000 views because it's the music video for TMNT. Black and Yellow has over 178 million. Bands a make her dance has 33 million. Or nah has 9 million. No one will remember them for this except for people like you who are fans of Ninja Turtles and saw his, but aren't familiar with the artists music.
