TMNT: Even More New Footage in 2nd International TV Spot

TMNT: Even More New Footage in 2nd International TV Spot

I think it's safe to say that what we've seen from the Michael Bay produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot has gone some way to placating even the most rabid fans. Now, after the jump you can see a few more snippets of new footage in this latest tv ad.

"The city needs heroes... Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is directed by Jonathan Liebesman. It stars Megan Fox, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson, Danny Woodburn, William Fichtner, Will Arnett, Whoopi Goldberg and opens August 8.

Not sure what to think about this film anymore
Rogers - 7/22/2014, 5:18 AM
Nothing new
SpiderFraud - 7/22/2014, 5:24 AM
I sense a lot of racist stereotypes on the horizon in this movie.
DarthSandwich - 7/22/2014, 5:40 AM
Well if they are going by that last short video they've released they should rename this movie "Teenage Asshole Sucking Ancient Vampire Demons"
You can't turn something as disgusting as a Kappa into a hero, they were demons who lured you into the swamp and sucked your soul through your asshole and if that's just a story Splinter's telling to his children than he's one sick mother[frick]er.
HAILHYDRA - 7/22/2014, 5:43 AM
Is it me or do the turtle's face look more natural than Megan Fox's?
marvel72 - 7/22/2014, 5:43 AM
f*ck this turtle crap,i'm gonna see bad ass apes either today or tomorrow.
HAILHYDRA - 7/22/2014, 5:45 AM
@marvel72. I second that. Everyone who is planning on seeing TMNT: go see Rise of the Planet of the Apes instead. There's no doubt in my mind that it will be a Sci-Fi classic.
HAILHYDRA - 7/22/2014, 5:50 AM
@hailhydra. You idiot. You meant Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
kalelhawj - 7/22/2014, 5:50 AM
Looks better then GOTG... I'm hype to see this...
Jollem - 7/22/2014, 5:53 AM
gee...i sure hope this movie manages to stay true to the 80's cartoon that most people would hold as the standard for the turtles. you wouldn't want to "ruin the childhoods" of any fan who is around 30 or so--since that would be the age of the person who's childhood would be in the 80's

i mean, the movie should be taken as serious as the cartoon

better be as serious and adult as the toys, then

okay, fine. it just better be like the original comics that the majority of people have never read

SuperCat - 7/22/2014, 5:54 AM
Yeah, nothing new. Still going to see this.

Doopie - 7/22/2014, 5:58 AM
Loved the original comic and would love to see it as a live action movie someday but since the 80s cartoon, TMNT has become family friendly entertainment so undoubtedly this movie would be made and marketed as such.
TheRationalNerd - 7/22/2014, 6:04 AM
Film's gonna kick all kinds of mutated a$$! lol
Jollem - 7/22/2014, 6:07 AM
@TheRationalNerd - damn skippy. it's gonna be the damn ninja turtles doin' what they do
Niklander - 7/22/2014, 6:07 AM
I will see this film [frick] the haters let them cry in their mommas basement that's what they good at
GenerationX - 7/22/2014, 6:08 AM
This is not's just in a foreign language. Same footage from a previously released tv spot
Inhuman - 7/22/2014, 6:09 AM
This movie is gonna be one of the best films of the year. I hope we get a trilogy and we see Bebop and Rocksteady, mousers, Stockman, Leatherhead, Krang and Dimension X
Nightmare12 - 7/22/2014, 6:18 AM
Glad to see more people being positive about this... I'm beyond excited, I think it 's going to be phenomenal. I feel like everyone who hates is just hating because they're pretentious, and want to jump on the hate bandwagon.. instead of having their own opinions.. and admitting it looks great.. most of them already expressed how dumb they think it's going to be, and now even if they feel otherwise they won't admit it, so they continue to hate, and try to point out things they think is stupid, it's very obvious... and quite sad.

Jollem - 7/22/2014, 6:19 AM
@Nightmare12 - 'tis the way of the hater
RangerStorm44 - 7/22/2014, 6:19 AM
[frick] this turtle crap it's not like the original ugh Bitch and Moan

etc keep it a surprise
McNyagano - 7/22/2014, 6:20 AM
Saw this today:o Was a lot of fun but that's it. The fight scenes were sick though.
Jollem - 7/22/2014, 6:21 AM
yeah!! i want 37 t.v. spots, dammit!!
RangerStorm44 - 7/22/2014, 6:21 AM
@McNyagano You saw it already?
Jollem - 7/22/2014, 6:24 AM
"Was a lot of fun but that's it"

how appropriate
MrReese - 7/22/2014, 6:29 AM
Michael Bay's Ruining Everything
SpiderFraud - 7/22/2014, 6:30 AM

If you don't mind a question, do the turtles get the screen time they deserve?

I really don't care about this movie that much, but if they have a bunch a time on screen I might watch it in the near future.
McNyagano - 7/22/2014, 6:35 AM

Yes they do have quite a bit of screen time. Which was surprising. I thought Bay would have pulled a TF on us.
RangerStorm44 - 7/22/2014, 6:45 AM
@McNyagano You Lucky as hell lol
Just one minor concern it's nice to know the turtles get the screen time they deserve that feels my heart with joy now how was Megan as April was she bad, good, average, Passable what?
McNyagano - 7/22/2014, 6:51 AM

It was nothing special imo. It was just a fun movie and that's what I felt like coming out. Lower your expectations. Look I'll say this though, the fight scenes were pure awesome! And the turtles themselves were well charactized forthe most part. They had distinct personalities and were a lot of fun. The human stuff didn't do much for me. Bleh. Well the trailers don't give that much away but the tv spots do.

There's subtle innapropriate jokes in there and some were very obvious. I don't want to get into details now but some of it was really eye rolling. It's not like the TF jokes and what not (which was actually surprising). Yeah and Megan Fox was soo sexualized in this movie. Should have seen that one coming. She was actually decent funny enough.
Jollem - 7/22/2014, 6:55 AM
i'm sure it's a good turtle time. what else would you want?

"nothing special. lower your expectations"

lol. are you frickin' kidding me?
RangerStorm44 - 7/22/2014, 6:57 AM
@McNyagano So it's just a fun action comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously hmmm ok that's cool umm Decent huh ok I'll accept that one more thing Does April have great chemistry with the Turtles or no?
McNyagano - 7/22/2014, 6:59 AM

She was decent.

I wasn't expecting much either apart from some cool action. There was no F-bombs (I didn't hear one) there's just the typical 'oh shit' kinda language.
DannyRand1225 - 7/22/2014, 7:01 AM
Mcnyagano-on a scale of 1-10 , what would u give it?
Jollem - 7/22/2014, 7:02 AM
"oh, but gotg on the other hand--that's the best thing in the world. it was more than a fun movie. it was a metaphor for the human condition. an existential masterpiece. historians and philosophers will study it for years to come. yessir, i'd say there's no need to see tmnt and instead you should watch gotg many times."
McNyagano - 7/22/2014, 7:04 AM

I'd say 6.5/10.

It does take itself seriously at times, actually was darker than I expected during some moments.
DannyRand1225 - 7/22/2014, 7:05 AM
Mcnyagano-ok, so its an alright movie, fine,it does look very fun though
RangerStorm44 - 7/22/2014, 7:05 AM
@McNyagano Ok decent is better then god awful or horrendous so I'm on board thank you really do appreciate it
Jollem - 7/22/2014, 7:05 AM
"i'd rate tmnt at 2/10 and gotg at 25/10. i didn't realize how little i knew about life until i saw gotg"
DannyRand1225 - 7/22/2014, 7:07 AM
both GOTG and TMNT arent going to be deep films but hopefully they will be films in which we can get connected with the characters and care about them, see cool action, good ,funny banter between the characters etc.
RangerStorm44 - 7/22/2014, 7:09 AM
@McNyagano Wow really I thought it was going to be all jokey joke but it's nice to know the movie has those types of moments
