Hunter Zolomon, otherwise known as Zoom, is a fictional comic book supervillain from the DC Comics universe. He is primarily associated with the superhero Wally West, the third Flash and is the third of the Reverse-Flashes. As Hunter Zolomon, he first appeared in The Flash: Secret Files & Origins #3 and was created by Geoff Johns and Scott Kolins.

So, Wells' whole speech about Eobard still existing in the future could only make sense if by some paradox Eobard Thawne's present is Barry's past. Because the Thawne line won't exist in Barry's actual future. So it would be interesting if that has something to do with Vandal Savage taking over in the exact same century that Thawne comes from. Because I find it hard to believe that Thawne could have made himself Reverse-Flash while under Savage's rule.

@Scorpo - That would be a massive waste of Hunter. The whole story of him being a cop why turns on Barry - instead of Wally in this instance - and basically becoming the new Reverse-Flash would make for a great season long arc next year, especially as his powers are so different to the actual Reverse-Flash and Zoom (who I'm pretty sure is The Rival in this show, but will probably be revealed as someone familiar like Henry Allen). Using Hunter would also allow them to keep Sears around after sending Jay back to Earth-2...though I am hoping Wells sticks around on Earth-1!

@Scorpo @JoshWilding - Also in the Episode 6 we alredy saw the motivations of Zoom, he believes the heroes dont deserve their powers, because they doesnt save the people lives.

You know what that lines and actions of Zoom reminds me?

Of How Hunter Zolomon hate Wally West and believe he doesnt deserved his powers, because he doesnt help him to get back his legs.
