Larry Gilliard Jr.'s Real Role In Season Four Of THE WALKING DEAD Revealed
As we previously speculated, 'Roy Stark' is indeed 'Bob Stookey'; the alcoholic former army medic who saves the life of the Governor after a brutal attack from a revenge driven Michonne. The AMC series has so far taken a huge departure from the comic books when it comes to how they handled the town of Woodbury, so it seems likely that the character will have a slightly different role on the show. Regardless, he's still described as being, "deeply haunted by his past" and "a loner" who "maintains a charming yet self-deprecating and confident façade". It has also been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter that The Wire's Larry Gilliard Jr. has been cast in the role.
