I'm a little surprised that AMC killed him off. I mean, they've deviated plenty from the comic, and it seemed like those two or three Governor-centric episodes were setting us up for another season of him as the bad guy. And when I watched this last episode I thought "Why'd they cut away when she shot him?" She pulled the trigger, and everything went black. I was sure AMC was pulling some shenanigans, and didn't believe he was dead until I read the BTS article on the following day.

This show always has more promise than delivery since Season 1.

At the beginning all I could think of for some reason was Ben Kingsleys line in IM3, "Some call me a terrorist, I consider myself a teacher."

Shame to see Governor go, really thought he was easily the most interesting character on the show, did think they'd keep him for at least Season 4, given all the episodes they gave him. Hopefully the rest of Season 4 is good, kind of glad they've left the prison

I'm going to miss The Governor. The Governor was intriguing, menacing and was amazing in just how villainous he was. I'm glad the writers didnt make him a cartoony villain just like he was in the comics but i'm happy that The Governor was more realistic.

Bring on Season 4.

Just got up to date with the TWD episodes yesterday. It's definitely a good thing they're out of the prison again!
