New Promotional Photos For The Second Half Of THE WALKING DEAD Season 3

The Hollywood Reporter has released some new promo images for the third season of AMC's The Walking Dead featuring Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira and David Morrissey. Nothing too exciting, but they's pretty cool. Check them out after the jump!

With the first half of AMC'S The Walking Dead season three wrapping earlier this month, a lot of fans began feeling the long wait until February 10th (when the show returns for the next half of the season). But now, The Hollywood Reporter has released some new promotional photos for the second half of the season. They're nothing to get very excited over, but they're really cool and worth checking:

An epidemic of apocalyptic proportions has swept the globe, causing the dead to rise and feed on the living. In a matter of months, society has crumbled: There is no government, no grocery stores, no mail delivery, no cable TV.

Rick Grimes finds himself one of the few survivors in this terrifying world. He was a small town cop who had only fired his weapon a couple times but never at anyone and had only ever seen one dead body. Separated from his family, he must sort through the death and horror to try and find his wife and son. In a world ruled by the dead, people are forced to finally begin living.

Television network: AMC
Release Date: Season three returns on February 10th, 2013.
Cast: Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Laurie Holden, Danai Gurira and David Morrissey
Executive Producers: Glen Mazzara and Gale Anne Hurd

This is gonna be awesome, season 3 has been the best season so far. I can't wait to see how Merle and Daryl interact with each other after just having been the pit lol.

Also hoping it won't take too long for Rick to kill the Governor.

They say that the prison/woodbury arc will be 2 seasons so I guess Rick won't kill him yet.

@thalidomide- 2 seasons long? Damn...i figured the woodbury thing would be to the end of season 3 at best. Oh well.
RyGoR - 12/20/2012, 10:51 AM
It makes since to have it over 2 seasons heck in the book it took up from the very end of volume 2 all the way through the end of volume 8 that's a long time spent at the prison so I'm all for them getting as much story out of it as possible

did the doc give the governor a zombie eye operation? why no patch yo?
NeoBaggins - 12/20/2012, 12:31 PM
Love how they deliberately dressed the Governor like Han Solo.

These are just promotional photos with the cast guys. Maybe they don't want to reveal how the governor will look like now, with an eye-patch or something else there.
