RUMOR: Sword Wielding Survivor MICHONNE Confirmed for THE WALKING DEAD

An aspiring actor has gone to his tumblr page to announce that he filmed scenes for AMC's The Walking Dead. He spills the beans that his scene involved the fan favorite Michonne.

Dupree R. Stansell a self proclaimed thespian, decided to reveal some major spoilers on his tumblr page, After posting the information Dupree apparently realized his mistake and deleted the post, but not before it was scooped up by a few fans of AMC's The Walking Dead.

In his post he reveals that he will be playing one of the two pet zombies for the katana wielding character, Michonne. She is perhaps the coolest character in The Walking Dead series, a huge fan favorite. She has the best introduction, as the first time we see the character she is towing around two zombies on a chain with her trusted sword in hand. The zombies on her metal leash are her boyfriend and his best friend. She has kept herself safe by removing both of their arms, and lower jaws.

Dupree's post doesn't not say which pet walker he'll be playing, nor does it say who played the role of Michonne. But, he does reveal that her big appearance will happen in episode 13 of Season 2, which is the finale. So we won't get to truly get to know the character til season 3.

Now of course this could all be nonsense, so take the time to vote below if you think this is legitimate or not. Click on "confirm" if you think it's real, or "debunk" if you think it's fake.

The Jaw-less Undead

Hey guys I’m back again with some great news, well not just great but forever changing. I finally got a taste of what it’s like to be a real actor.

The other day I got caste to be an feature extra in the television show “The Walking Dead”. I didn’t know what my role is but I was excited when I found out that I was playing a Michonne Jaw-less Pet Walker. Now those of you who read the magazine know’s what that is. For those of you who don’t, just know it’s a dope charter to the new season three. I will be in episode 13, the season final of season 2. I’m not going to give away too much details, but know it was three hours of make up ($2,000 dollers worth) me shirtless and cold, looking super gory but cool. And a whole lot of taping, running and screaming. Ending in a lobster dinner :).

Being that it went so well. When I move back to Cali I’m getting head shots. Simply because my resume is somewhat compatible with others. So I’m going to freelance in LA signing open contracts and freelance in Atlanta doing what I’m doing now (Thank You Extra Casting Atlanta). My role can turn permanent, and I pray it does. Just if you really care send me prayers and blessings you guys, I dream of acting as a life aspiration. I’m so close, but still far away. - @xoRomeo

well if it's on the finale, then I hope they introduce the prison right at the end and she comes up at some way

i've heard alot about this character,i haven't read any of the graphic novels but she'll be a welcome addition by the sound of things.

Season 2 has sucked. I love the books and I loved season one, but this season was terrible. Drawn out, bad acting from joe bernthal and Sarah callies. It was boring and when they had potential for real powerful scenes, the actors were too over the top trying to be too dramatic. I'll stick to the books from now on
Checkmate - 12/1/2011, 2:47 PM
I'm calling B.S. And I'll be pissed if Michonne shows up before Tyreese.
Potterman - 12/1/2011, 2:50 PM
That dude cannot spell or use proper grammar. Charter?? You mean character? Being an actor I think you should know how to spell CHARACTER. Now I know why they gave him a part with no dialogue.
Natetrix79 - 12/1/2011, 3:08 PM
I haven't seen season 2 yet but I already figured it would be a little more drawn out because it's twice as long as last season. It can't move too fast or it will pass what's happening in the book. They should do about 8 shows per season, now normally for me more is better (that's why i have a little buddha belly!) but the comic book hasn't cracked 100 issues yet. They need another good show to replace it mid-way something like Y the last man. Imagine having 2 great comic book shows in 1 season?
vinnievincentchente - 12/1/2011, 3:11 PM
At last!!!!! Some real action in the show.
Bandrews1 - 12/1/2011, 3:17 PM
This cool news if true, I just really wanna see who they cast in the role.
Dickel - 12/1/2011, 3:21 PM
Good show.
@RyanLantern77 - Kinda got to agree a little on the bad acting, especially from "Sara Tancredi"... I'll never know the appeal to her acting... as far as I'm concerned, she's a little bit 'hit and miss' when it comes to acting. She has moments of almost brilliance, mixed in with some pretty mediocre acting...
On a separate note: I don't find her particularly attractive either..

Michonne, Tyrese, and the Governor. Bring'em all on. The prison scenes should be epic. Especially after a few certain people leave and then come back to a surprise. Can't wait!
MaddMonkk - 12/1/2011, 3:51 PM
I think this is the 2nd pet walker.

too soon?

YES to Tracy!
HeyVanity - 12/1/2011, 4:45 PM
Looks like they've bumped the prison up to this season then. While I think it would have been better to wait until season 3, I can't help but be excited to see how they handle it. Now... where the [frick] is Tyreese?

A mysterious African-American woman armed with a katana, Michonne first
appears when she saves Otis from a group of zombies. She used to be a lawyer in Atlanta, Georgia. She had a father, a mother, two sisters, a brother, an ex-husband, two daughters, a boyfriend, a mortgage, and a whole lot of other things. When the dead returned to life and began attacking the living, the first place Michonne went was her neighbor’s house. His son, a high schooler, was a sword junkie that used to cut up the fence between their yards, and killed their cat. Michonne grabbed one of his katana swords. It was easier than finding a gun, and it wouldn’t draw any attention to her. She had taken fencing as a child, and then again in college, and had gotten pretty good at it. Not to mention that it helped work off some of the steam of her seventeen years of college.

Major Story Arcs
The Prison
Michonne herself has two zombies in tow, her boyfriend and his brother, both in shackles and lacking their arms and jaws. She notes that after a while they stopped trying to attack her and their presence decreased the chances of other zombies attacking. Having survived in the wilderness for quite some time alone, she decides to join the group of survivors at the prison when offered the chance.

Awesome news....this season is draaaaaaaaagging
Zayers - 12/1/2011, 6:04 PM
Fake...the CREATOR even stated they didn't have plans for her on the last Talking Dead to appear on the show at the moment, but want to at some point.
GLprime2814 - 12/1/2011, 6:11 PM
Probably the most bad ass character in the series specially after the thunder dome story arc with that crazy mayor.
VikingPatar - 12/1/2011, 9:54 PM
Kirkman has all but flat our said that Michonne will show up this season. Last time he asked he said she would show up soon.
VikingPatar - 12/1/2011, 9:54 PM
He was asked*
DarthTesla - 12/1/2011, 11:57 PM
Hell yeah!! Michonne is by far the best character in the entire series.

She's gonna turn around the entire pace of the show, hopefully.
KittenKisses - 12/2/2011, 2:44 AM
A little birdie told me a dead body rising from the grave to become a zombie is even more unrealistic than being able to kill a zombie with a katana.

@KittenKisses. That was funny.

Wow... really. It's just a book. A GREAT book... yeah... but damn! lol
ICStoopedPeople - 12/2/2011, 6:24 AM
I doubt the source, but regardless I'd like to state that I hope they don't screw this character up like they've done with Andrea.

I can't stand her in the series, but in the comic she's pretty much a bad ass.
theHuch - 12/2/2011, 7:36 AM
I really don't think that we will ever see Tyreese in the TV show. Even though Tyreese is my favorite character from the comics, I think he has been replaced by Darryl. (Not that Darryl and Tyreese look or act anything alike), but they are the fan favorite character that is pretty BA.
RobinNumbah6 - 12/2/2011, 7:54 AM
YES! I LOVED THIS CHICK! Too bad nobody in this series lasts long
TheMyth - 12/2/2011, 9:08 AM
Michonne is cool and all, but it's so cliche that she is so many people's fav. It's like someone telling you their favorite comic character is Wolverine or Superman. Yea, she's cool, but I like other characters more. Andrea in the comic is my personal favorite. I also think this is bullshit. I've heard Kirkman himself say he didn't want to introduce her yet. I think it's more likely we'll get Tyrese.

On a side note, I really would like to know how some of you gauge good acting. Jon Bernthal has been friggin amazing! I agree about Lori's character, she isn't worth remembering her name really, but Shane has been outstanding and is one of the biggest reasons many friends of mine(who don't read comics) have gotten into the show.
TheMyth - 12/2/2011, 9:19 AM
TheNeedler, your assessment of a katana is based on 440 stainless steel showcase versions that you buy in the mall bro. A katana, a real one, is far more durable than you say and to this day is one of the most well made blades on the planet. Additionally there are several different types. The Nodachi was used in open war and could easily fold a man in half in full samurai armor just by the sheer weight of the blade. I do agree that you must be Superman if you can lop off 2 dozen heads with it in a single melee though. At the end of the day, I think I'd prefer a military issue machete... or a pair of them! As for her training before the apocalypse, a rapier would be better suited for her and probably easier to get kills with by simply thrusting it through the head rather than attempting decapitation with a katana.
TWDRumors - 12/6/2011, 9:48 AM
I am beyond excited for her to join the show. Punishment is about to be delivered.
BatSlam - 12/19/2011, 6:07 PM
its not cliche to like her ,its just that she is an amazing character. People shouldn't like her because other people already do? what kinda dumbness is that?
