Alan Taylor, Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman And Tom Hiddleston Talk THOR: THE DARK WORLD

Director Alan Taylor shares his thoughts on working with Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios, while Anthony Hopkins comments on how he views the fans and Odin's more "three dimensional" role in the sequel. We also have video interviews with Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston.

Marvel’s "Thor: The Dark World" continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

what i HOPE to happen by or IN The Avengers 3..that MOST of the supporting characters from the solo marvel flicks will show up, even for a bit. like..i'd like to see Gen. Ross interacting with Sam Jackson's Fury, like in the comics and toons. or how about the girlfriends hangin out together or something..Pepper, Jane and (either) Natasha or Sharon sharing a scene together or somethin'. that'd be cool. or how about War M- i mean Iron Patriot (IM's sidekick) trading crime fighting tips with Falcon (Cap's MODERN sidekick)..

Now as for the VILLAINS...that's another whole subject..
quas666 - 8/11/2013, 9:14 AM

Thor Into Darkness just won't be the same without Kirk, but at least we have Kirk's dad. It's weird to reboot a movie in the same summer as the last iteration, but I guess that's the world we live in now. Imprisoned bad guy must be released to help the good guys. London destroyed by extraterrestrial vehicle. At least that stuff's there.
Kayo - 8/11/2013, 9:59 AM
yesssssssss...............kan nat weight to see this.

Azazel1 - 8/11/2013, 9:59 AM
Thor looks [frick]ing awful so far

The trailer looked weak!
KeefNCookies - 8/11/2013, 10:01 AM
No transcript = uber lazy

How about putting in some actual work instead of just pasting stuff?
kadetra - 8/11/2013, 10:08 AM
Jane death won't surprise anybody. I hope Loki is the one that's gonna die.
DarthMauve - 8/11/2013, 10:19 AM

You Sir, are a very courageous individual, battling through life with those gigantic blinkers attached. Its inspiring how you cope with such narrow vision.

^That horse has four legs up top.....
Dumegg - 8/11/2013, 10:43 AM
Azazel is just jealous because they still haven't made
His full length My Little Pony live action movie yet.
bHrUuLcKe - 8/11/2013, 10:51 AM
I just want to see Thor wear his helmet into battle once. Is that too much to ask? Even if they don't, this movie will still be F***ing Epic! Can't wait!
Azazel1 - 8/11/2013, 11:02 AM
The first Thor was just mediocre

This one looks even worse

Loki again? Really?

mdwilliamson24 - 8/11/2013, 11:44 AM
I thought Alan Taylor was fired! What is going on?

zing @ all of you that believe every internet rumor.
mdwilliamson24 - 8/11/2013, 11:46 AM
And Jane won't die...what kind of hero would Thor be if the one he's protecting at all costs ends up dying?
Its going to be someone else.

I guess ya learn something new every day....unfortunately.
rockerdude22 - 8/11/2013, 12:39 PM
I guess it's safe to say that rumor about Taylor and Marvel disagreeing wasn't true lol. Goes to show anyone will believe anything nowadays
Seejay - 8/11/2013, 12:46 PM

Tainted87 - 8/11/2013, 12:13 PM

Yeah, true dude. But really that's a fact of optimism imo.

Talking about the Norse. This is kind of cool.
EasternWind - 8/11/2013, 12:58 PM
While my personal opinion is that Odin is a raging douche, I have to say Anthony Hopkins plays him incredibly well.
Luigi - 8/11/2013, 1:10 PM
I wonder if they'll kill off Odin in this one. If not we'll be wondering why Odin doesn't take on Malekith and Thanos and each movie will happen to be set when he's in Odin sleep.
Dumegg - 8/11/2013, 1:12 PM
I take it some of you have never even looked inside the cover of a
Thor comic. Loki is in 85% of them. He is responseable for creating
The Absorbing Man, The wrecking crew. He teams up with
Malekith and Surtur. Loki is pretty much responsable for just about
All the caos in Thors Life. OF COURSE HE IS IN THOR 2! HE WILL
IN THOR 3 AS WELL! Get used to it.
Floke - 8/11/2013, 2:34 PM
Tainted87: You do know Thor is riding a wagon strapped to two goats in the myths? Not as epic as a 8 legged horse.. :) But it looks kind of cool as a statue in my home town:
Dumegg - 8/11/2013, 2:37 PM
^ toothgnasher and toothgrinder. They are Thor's flying goats.
Tainted87 - 8/11/2013, 4:17 PM
Well psshhhhh everyone knows that....
I have the Walt Simonson Omnibus, it's like 1,300 pages. I've only made it to Malekith and the faeries.

And yes, Loki is in each issue... though who he antagonizes varies. At that point, he's just stalking Balder.
