Natalie Portman Spotted On THOR: THE DARK WORLD Set; Stan Lee's Cameo Revealed?

Until today, there were only reports of Natalie Portman taking part in the on-location London filming for Thor: The Dark World, in which she's reprising her Jane Foster role. Check out photos!

Another week of filming in London is in store for Marvel's much-anticipated Thor: The Dark World movie. And following last week's battle-heavy scenes, actress Natalie Portman has finally been spotted filming the Alan Taylor-directed Marvel sequel. When cameras were rolling today, Chris Hemsworth was seen costumed running in the street, followed “closely” by Portman.

Photographed by @DonnyJonny_ of Twitter, check out the distanced set photes below. And for the possible reveal of Stan Lee's cameo, possibly related to Natalie's scenes today, check even lower!

Also, Stan “the man” Lee's inevitable cameo in the 2013 actioner may have been revealed. According to @MisterGreenwich of Twitter, who's notorious for tracking all things in Greenwich, where filming is taking place, Lee's cameo will involve the follwing; potential spoiler warning.

The bus that Mr. Greenwich is referring to is the London double-decker, with a fictional movie advert on its side, which was spotted last week. It seems the very sequence that Natalie Portman & Chris Hemsworth are filming today will involve the bus. What do you think?

Marvel Studios’ “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo & Anthony Hopkins as Odin, “Thor: The Dark World” is directed by Alan Taylor, produced by Kevin Feige, from a story by Don Payne (credit not final) and screenplay by Christopher Yost and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (credit not final) and is based on Marvel’s classic Super Hero Thor, who first appeared in the comic book “Journey into Mystery” #83 in August, 1962. “Thor: The Dark World” is presented by Marvel Studios. The executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Victoria Alonso, Craig Kyle and Nigel Gostelow. The film releases November 8, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

In addition to “Thor: The Dark World”, Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on more iconic Marvel characters including “Iron Man 3” on May 3, 2013; “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on April 4, 2014; “Marvel's The Avengers” sequel (title TBA) on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

¡¡¡Good!!!. ...Thor: The Dark World
TheAmazingSpidey63 - 11/19/2012, 11:00 AM
@72 - I hear ya, man. I think they should give us more "Thor/Sif" relationship. Maybe we'll see that in this film. I don't think that Natali Portman is horrible or anything, she was good as Jane Foster in Thor, and to have her back is okay with me, but I still want a "Thor/Sif" relationship developing here. :)
Minato - 11/19/2012, 11:01 AM
B!tc# you better make that money and dont half @$$ it either.
TheAmazingSpidey63 - 11/19/2012, 11:02 AM
Oh, and one more thing......

Stan "The Man" Lee: The Alfred Hitchcock of the MCU films. ;)
TheAmazingSpidey63 - 11/19/2012, 11:03 AM
@Hush2010 - LOL!! Don't worry, dude. I'm sure she'll give us another good performance.
IgnurRant - 11/19/2012, 11:11 AM
Portman was only terribdle in Thor because her character was written horribly. Blame Marvel Studios for making her a floozy that throws her self at menC
TheAmazingSpidey63 - 11/19/2012, 11:12 AM
@yoss -

It sure will be, bro. ;)

With everything that's going on right now, with the BIG MCU, it surely will be.
TheAmazingSpidey63 - 11/19/2012, 11:13 AM
*Natalie, not Natali.

Temple - 11/19/2012, 11:26 AM
@Hush2010 Hahahahaha!
Funsize - 11/19/2012, 11:29 AM
Well the fact that she was "dragged" in the movie, she may not have much screen time so there might be more Thor/Sif scenes. I'm still waiting for Loki and Kurse.
FirstAvenger - 11/19/2012, 11:29 AM
This is gonna be a great movie.
Otisburg - 11/19/2012, 11:30 AM

thunderforce - 11/19/2012, 11:31 AM
This is the MCU just recast because killing her off is not permanent since Thor could just resurrect her anyways .
TheBeard - 11/19/2012, 11:52 AM
they should have had Amora in this movie and have her kill jane foster
Greengo - 11/19/2012, 11:55 AM
Yup. she gone die.
jazzman - 11/19/2012, 11:55 AM

campblood - 11/19/2012, 12:01 PM

make jane's death a driving force in the movie
SpideyQuad - 11/19/2012, 12:11 PM
Yeah, "driving force" indeed.
BackwardGalaxy - 11/19/2012, 12:12 PM
If Nat wants out anyway, kill her.
GUNSMITH - 11/19/2012, 12:16 PM
BubblesShedAndBreakfast - 11/19/2012, 12:25 PM
That's right make that girl work! She signed a contract for more then one Marvel movie so don't let her back out of it!
marvel72 - 11/19/2012, 12:29 PM
these guys say it best.for anyone who doesn't want to return for a third movie.

Reasonnnn - 11/19/2012, 12:42 PM
You guys are retarded. We don't even know if Portman is "REPORTEDLY" pissed off.
AztecRainGod - 11/19/2012, 1:06 PM
Natalie Portman turned in a nice performance in Thor. Dunno what [frick]in movie you guys were watching.

Save the female actress hate for Cobie Smulders. God, she was horrible.
evilness - 11/19/2012, 1:12 PM
portman wasn't that bad in thor. in fact, i thought the way she acted was kind of charming. it might've been the writing that did her in for you guys.

the one who truly was obnoxious was kat dennings and her shit jokes. worst attempt to inject humor into the story EVER...
AmazingFantasy - 11/19/2012, 1:15 PM
Eh is all I can say
TheAmazingSpidey63 - 11/19/2012, 1:39 PM
@ELgUaSoN - At that last pic...

Now we know why he's called Stan "The MAN Lee. ;)

Go, Stan, you handsome devil, you!
Fogs - 11/19/2012, 1:40 PM
Ha! Jane unleashed the elves with her research!
Bodwulf - 11/19/2012, 2:03 PM
Yes! Gotta have Portman as Jane. Glad the rumors were false. Changing or missing actors kill continuity for me. Rhodey for example.
Bodwulf - 11/19/2012, 2:05 PM
Thor Loves Jane, Since 1962 The Thunder God and his Lady fair.
TheGambitFreak - 11/19/2012, 2:12 PM
Dude, Stan Lee is my hero! I cannot count how many papers I wrote about him back in school. The guy is my idol!

harley2011 - 11/19/2012, 3:15 PM
She was fine in the first movie. This will be like the third Star Wars movie though. She will phone it in.
gaikinger - 11/19/2012, 3:52 PM
So glad Portman and Hopkins are back as well. Continuity issues must be resolved. Really enjoyed the first Thor and thought Branagh's editing choices were spot on with the exclusion of most of that deleted footage. Hope the sequel can retain the soul that Branaugh allready infused it with.
CoolantTech - 11/19/2012, 4:04 PM
Portman was OK except for a few awkward scenes, but you guy's are right we definately need to see more Sif and Thors non-platonic feelings toward her

mgeoff88 - 11/19/2012, 7:09 PM
I hope Jane Foster is developed more in Thor 2.

I actually thought that Natalie Portman did a good job, but that Jane could've been written better.

And we need more Lady Sif action scenes! I love the Stan Lee cameos. Keep 'em coming Marvel.
pepe - 11/19/2012, 10:42 PM
Is that other chick in this movie... Dont remember her name. She was like Janes side-kick or something.
Aiiwolf - 11/20/2012, 5:29 AM
She will return so Thor can show her why he's an "ASS" GUARDIAN!
chuckg313 - 11/20/2012, 10:03 AM
could care less if portman was in this or not...thor-sif or thor -enchantress would be much better
Fogs - 11/26/2012, 6:41 AM
If they take her out of the story it will make no sense. She was part of what made him "human" and they were looking for each other in the end. But she could die in the movie and the path would be free for lady Sif, though :)
