ALegendaryPanda - 10/31/2013, 10:16 AM
AAAND no more footage for me! I've seen all I need to see.
RorMachine - 10/31/2013, 10:20 AM
He does look pretty cool, I'll give him that.
Dumegg - 10/31/2013, 10:23 AM
Nice little flash of Bor at the begining.
marvelstudios - 10/31/2013, 10:24 AM
Such a powerful villain
datNAMEtho - 10/31/2013, 10:25 AM
More like "terrifying" another blank villain by the MCU.
Ocelot - 10/31/2013, 10:25 AM
I liked the way Kurse deflected the hammer in the clip.
ckal - 10/31/2013, 10:27 AM

Can someone tell me if Bor is in the movie, and was not cut?
McNyagano - 10/31/2013, 10:30 AM
He was meh :/ He was underdeveloped. I expected more to be honest.
GinjaNinja - 10/31/2013, 10:38 AM
Can't wait.
Dumegg - 10/31/2013, 10:39 AM
Come on nerds, where are the screen grabs of Bor?
I thought one of you guys would have posted them by now.
ALegendaryPanda - 10/31/2013, 10:40 AM
You know you're a badass when you just slap Thor's hammer away like a fly!
Vegeta - 10/31/2013, 10:45 AM
Kurse is badass, but he is the equivalent of Faora in The Dark World. The guy calling the shots is Malekith and while I think Zod is villain on the year, its only by and inch and Malekith is real close behind.

ezio619 - 10/31/2013, 10:48 AM
Guys, read the article on ew,feige talks about winter soldier and ultron aswhile a little ,I will post the quotes here.

“We didn’t sit down and say, okay now bring on the bad guys. The heroes are the focus and the drivers,” Feige says. “We choose those villains because of what you hope they will bring out in the hero. Malekith and the dark elves give Thor a noble foe, tap into Asgardian history, and bring about somebody who is worse than Loki, to put Thor in a position where he had to ask for his brother’s help.”

Winter Soldier:

“The movie takes place in the modern day, with Cap struggling for his position in the world, and just when he thinks he might be finding his niche, we throw in something from his past to throw him for a loop,” Feige says.

The Winter Soldier is, like Cap, a bio-engineered military weapon. But unlike Cap, he has been brainwashed and lacks the strong moral compass that guides his red, white, and blue opponent. “Winter Soldier has been methodically, almost robotically, following orders for 70 years, and Captain America is struggling with what it means to serve a country, to serve a government, and whether the ideals he grew up with still apply,” Feige says.

Feige was more circumspect about details of how this villain will clash with Iron Man, The Hulk, Cap, Thor, and Black Widow, but did tip his hand a little bit about the movie, headed to theaters May 1, 2015. Like many villains, Ultron will be a contrast to the heroes he faces. His zeal to resist and reshape his programming make him hate the powerful rivals who seem to have total control of their lives and destinies.

“There is an element of free will that our heroes have, that all humans have, whether it’s Thor or Steve Rogers — and certainly Tony Stark is the poster boy for free will,” Feige says. “That’s what Ultron resents.”

McNyagano - 10/31/2013, 10:59 AM

He was ok. Yeah he was powerful but he's not an interesting villain, he's underdevelopped, he barley interacts with other characters than his dark elves, his motivation is simple and not interesting.Malekith is more of an excuse to have fight scenes and an end battle. I expected more to be honest. He wasn't exactly a character that was easy to pull off mostly because of all the make up and speaking a fake language. The villian could have been anyone in the movie and it wouldn't have changed at all. Still a great movie though.
GinjaNinja - 10/31/2013, 11:07 AM
my question is, does this movie screw up the timeline that was in Citidel of Spires the spin off comic?
McNyagano - 10/31/2013, 11:10 AM

You've made a good point there, I will acknowledge that. When I left the theatre I kinda felt underwhelmed by him. I'm seeing this on tomorrow again, so maybe my opinion on him might change. But again, excellent point. What did you think of Kurse?
GinjaNinja - 10/31/2013, 11:12 AM
@Batmaniac exactly! Hence why Loki is the best villain ever besides Joker from DK. He is so creative, and his realationship to thor is very well done so far.
GinjaNinja - 10/31/2013, 11:15 AM
wat da crud gusto
ezio619 - 10/31/2013, 11:15 AM
Mcnyagano-what did you think of the mid credit scene, what was your immediate reaction after the twist at the end and is seeded well and is the movie able to balance humor, action and drama well ?
GinjaNinja - 10/31/2013, 11:16 AM
so was the UK premiere done? I never understand the time zone changes lol...
GinjaNinja - 10/31/2013, 11:17 AM
@Mcny don't give any spoilers while answering ezio though!
Vegeta - 10/31/2013, 11:18 AM

I thought Kurse was badass just like Faora, but I prefer Malekith since he was the shot caller. The Dark Elves posed an actual threat to the Asgardians, so I liked them too.
JossWeedOnMe - 10/31/2013, 11:20 AM
ultron go from goodie to baddie in one 2 hour movie....i smell dr doom...wolverines transformation all over aggain
GinjaNinja - 10/31/2013, 11:22 AM
is this movie better, worse or about the same as Iron Man. (not 3)
XelCorp - 10/31/2013, 11:22 AM
He is a weak villains as in ""character development"" I'm guessing...but physically isn't he powerful due to the Aether? I heard he can block/deflect Thor's attacks
MIDAS - 10/31/2013, 11:23 AM
Is there any truth to a Cap cameo in this movie?
McNyagano - 10/31/2013, 11:23 AM

I agree though, Malekith the MCU's biggest threat so far. There's real danger when he's onscreen, I really thought anyone could die. The stakes were high this time around.. What did you think of the final battle? I thought the humour was a bit much. But Thor throwing his hammer into the different relms and taking the subway made me lol so hard. xD

The mid-credits scene was creepy and weird. I was like HOLY SHIT!!! It was a true shocker. Can't wait for Thor 3. :D
XelCorp - 10/31/2013, 11:25 AM
Weak villain as in ""character development"" I'm guessing...but isn't he really powerful physically due to the Aether? I heard he can block/deflect Thor's attacks
McNyagano - 10/31/2013, 11:26 AM

He's really really powerful. Him and Kurse are strong enough deflect Thor's hammer.

I don't know but I need a second viewing. Everything was spot on except Malekith who I was a bit underwhelmed by. But yeah it could be better than IM3. I need to watch it again. :D
JossWeedOnMe - 10/31/2013, 11:27 AM
nowhere near as good as IM
Vegeta - 10/31/2013, 11:34 AM

"There's real danger when he's onscreen, I really thought anyone could die. The stakes were high this time around"

...and that's exactly what I want from a villain. I loved the final battle, and I thought the humor was fine. I thought the humor throughout the whole movie was balanced perfectly. I've gone past the tube station Thor got on at so many times, and I recognized the locations, so I loved the setting of the battle.

When people have seen it, we can go into more detail, but I wont say anything more because I don't want to spoil it, but the final battle was epic in my opinion.
XelCorp - 10/31/2013, 11:37 AM
Well when it comes to which villain was the most creative of the year (most intelligent)/(had the biggest impact) The Mandarin anyone? IM3
GinjaNinja - 10/31/2013, 11:40 AM
Great, you guys are making it sound better and better now.
MIDAS - 10/31/2013, 11:40 AM
Can anyone describe the Cap cameo?
Vegeta - 10/31/2013, 11:41 AM
Zod & Malekith make The Mandarin/Aldrich Killain look silly.
GinjaNinja - 10/31/2013, 11:41 AM
please don't describe the cap cameo... I don't wnat it spoiled lol.
