Oh, and BTW I forgot to mention this is a prep time fight.
JuggyPunch - 4/29/2013, 3:07 PM
close match, with prep could go either way. they dead even martially, physically and and tactically. really come down to which one ya like more. that is why I choose Batman.
Minato - 4/29/2013, 3:45 PM
Black Panther is my favorite.
relentless1 - 4/29/2013, 4:00 PM
gotta go with batman with prep here, hed find a way around panthers suit and when that happens its lights out for panther although itd be one hell of a fight for batman to be sure
VIRILEMAN - 4/29/2013, 4:05 PM
My heart says Batman but my head says Panther.
LoudLon - 4/29/2013, 4:11 PM
Panther is Bats' physical superior. His enhancement puts him a shade shy of Captain America; Batman is completely unenhanced. Panther is stronger, faster, and has better endurance. Just saying.

Hush -- this isn't a popularity contest. If you think Batman would win, say so, but be prepared to back it up. If you only voted Batman because he's your favorite, you've got no business voting. Also just saying.
LoudLon - 4/29/2013, 4:22 PM
@Fenix -- are you sure you want to get into the old Fight Club habit of prep or non-prep fights? Because you know with prep, Batman can beat anybody. Just ask his fans, they'll tell you. *eye roll*
GuardianDevil - 4/29/2013, 4:30 PM
^^
Well, I think he can beat some low level superhumans with prep. Same with Captain America, Daredevil, Panther and the like.

relentless1 - 4/29/2013, 4:43 PM
i think panther cap and batman are all physically close, the only thing ive been told that seperates cap from batman really is that the serum affected his brain, even though batmans no slouch in the brains department, anyways, i stand by the written facts, cap has the edge only slightly over batman in the physical attributes area so i think batman is more than enough to handle panther once he gets the advanced tech out of the way
GuardianDevil - 4/29/2013, 5:01 PM
The biggest difference difference between Cap/Deathstroke and Batman/Panther to me, is the mental enhancements. Cap and Stroke both utilize far more of their brain than a human could, which gives them the ability to formulate 100 different strategies at the drop of a hat. Panther's enhancements are only physical, not only that his physicality is inferior to that of Cap and Stroke. While Panther and Bats are both world class tacticians, they aren't as good as Cap and Stroke.

Which is why I think either Stroke or Cap could defeat Batman or Panther. I don't think physical atteibutes matter In those because they are soooo slight. I think it's due to the mental advantages Cap and Stroke have, plus that mental ability also allows them to quickly master a style of fighting which makes them martially better.

As for this match, I think it's even. There isn't any clear cut advantage, Bats has stalemated Panther-ish opponents (Bronze Tiger) while Panther had fought Batman-ish opponents to a stand still. (Daredevil)

and i know some of you don't go by the online databaes but batman can press 1000 lbs while BP can only press 800 lbs so hes got him in strength as well
relentless1 - 4/29/2013, 8:39 PM
not by much, but i think the only thing bp has on bats is superior tech, with prep batman gets past that and the puts the hurtin on bp
GuardianDevil - 4/29/2013, 9:56 PM
Well, I remember the iconic BP could lift around 1,000 lbs which is why I said they're dead even in that respect. Current Panther can only do 800 lbs because he lost his enhancements. I don't think either one has a clear advantage over the other, and both are prep masters so it really could go to either one.

It's pretty much a toss up, like Juggy said you pretty much vote for the character you like more.
GuardianDevil - 4/29/2013, 9:57 PM
So, I went with Batman.
LoudLon - 4/30/2013, 5:55 AM
With the Panther and Cap enhancement things...Cap's peak HUMAN. Panther is really close to peak human, but not fully. Batman is peak ability for a man of his age/height/weight/build. There is a difference. If there weren't, then if Batman could lift half a pound more or could react half a second quicker, he'd be superhuman, and that's simply not the case. We've been over this and over this.

So in comes the sliding scale. Caps strength and other physical abilities would have to be judged by whatever current world records are. If, say, the current world's strongest man could lift 1500 lbs, then Cap, being peak human, would be stronger than that. But Batman would be weaker because he's unenhanced, doesn't use steroids, etc, is smaller, etc. Panther is roughly 95% of Cap's physical ability, but he'd still be superior to Bats.

You guys keep wanting to put Batman close or even with Cap or Bats in physical ability, but you're completely ignoring the fact that Batman has no enhancements, and hence will never be as strong, fast or agile as either Batman or Panther. Personally I think putting him at 75% of their physical ability is more than generous.
LoudLon - 4/30/2013, 5:56 AM
"will never be as strong, fast or agile as either CAP or Panther," that is. My bad.
relentless1 - 4/30/2013, 1:25 PM
@ loud, this isnt me being biased or wanting bats to be as strong or whatever, its been stated in several sources that cap can life 1300 lbs, bats can lift 1000 lbs and panther can lift 800lbs before his enhancements, its right there, i black and whit dude so id say batman is peak human while cap, death stroke and now panther are enhanced humans
GuardianDevil - 4/30/2013, 9:47 PM
Panther has ALWAYS been enhanced human, who could lift roughly 1,100 lbs pretty much the same as Batman. It wasn't until very recently when Panther lost the enhancements and became a peak human who could only lift 800 lbs. I think his iconic version was enhanced physically ALMOST on par with Cap and Stroke. But not mentally. Physically I'd say Panther is equal to bats because they both can only lift around 1,000 lbs while Cap and Stroke can lift upwards of 1400-1500 lbs.
