They took a punt on Hemsworth with this and I think they did good. Top stuff ED.

Awesome @ ED, big kudos... damn THOR will set a new bar in the Cbm!

@Sweep: honestly not trying to be a [email protected], but I was wondering what "took a punt" meant. I assume its taking a chance, but is that a rugby reference or something?
dfresh - 3/8/2011, 6:02 AM
Did you ask him if Portman polished his hammer?
captainbeta - 3/8/2011, 6:09 AM
His modesty is refreshing. I look forward to seeing him in future movies.
dahamma - 3/8/2011, 6:11 AM
lol his voice is too deep for the audio, i got most of it tho, Chris is gonna do great as thor i believe. From what Ive seen he has the voice, the warrior type attitude, and the jerk like(pre-earth) qualities of thor!I hope this film does great. it'll kick off his career and give us sequals!
Sweep - 3/8/2011, 6:13 AM
j0hnb1aze@ Yeah it means to take a chance. Depends where you come from though. Obviously if you punt something - you kick it. It happens in American Football I believe.

But where I come from, "taking a punt" or "having a punt" means to gamble. Hope that clears it up.
SmokinIndo - 3/8/2011, 6:46 AM
Chis Hemsworth isn't a very good interview giver. He gave squirrelly answers compared to the responses given by Evans and Brannagh.
marvel72 - 3/8/2011, 6:55 AM
lets hope marvel sign branagh on for at least two more thor films.

@ ed gross

well done,mate.
AC1 - 3/8/2011, 7:21 AM
Great stuff Ed! If DC's Green Lantern is the Star Wars of CBMs, maybe Marvel's Thor will be the Lord of the Rings of CBMs!
Gmoney84 - 3/8/2011, 7:39 AM
OH MY ODIN! I'm so ready for this movie!
JonStarkgaryen - 3/8/2011, 7:51 AM
@Sweep, cool man, I figured as much. Wheverever you're from, or however you want to say it, I think Hemsworth was a great casting! Can't wait for this summer movie season....
HelaGood - 3/8/2011, 8:24 AM
this is going to be HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
valeriesghost - 3/8/2011, 9:12 AM
@sweep, its interesting that where you're from "taking a punt" is a gamble. Here with american football, taking the punt is really the safe thing to do. But i agree, it was a gamble and i really think they got it spot on :)
BatLantern - 3/8/2011, 9:21 AM
I have to take a punt right now..afk
moneybanks - 3/8/2011, 10:59 AM

Superbatprime - 3/8/2011, 2:33 PM
I remember him when he was starting out in an australian soap opera called Home and Away lol.

Just like Isla Fisher.
Prrrick - 3/8/2011, 8:17 PM

WebSlinger13 - 3/9/2011, 12:50 AM

Symbiote133 - 3/9/2011, 9:08 AM
I am a little afraid they will underplay the importance of Mjolnir in the movie. Maybe that's just me, though.
