Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. ezio619 - 10/18/2013, 6:03 PM
i hate devin faraci, man, that guy is a douce.not everyone is gonna like or love this film, that just does not count for superhero films in general,it counts for movies in general, and for people who say that the press screening or advance screening are always positive, iron man 3 had negative reactions too
ezio619 - 10/18/2013, 6:07 PM
the prepare to laugh tweet is gonna worry people now and here the complaints"of its comedy, great just what we need"
EasternWind - 10/18/2013, 6:07 PM
These are making me feel so much better about the (shitty) runtime.

ezio619 - 10/18/2013, 6:08 PM
i think its gonna be a GOOD film, not the best thing in the world, but a solid film nontheless ..but we shall see, though next year is what i am really excited about
TheManFromMars - 10/18/2013, 6:08 PM

3DWitchHunt - 10/18/2013, 6:10 PM
Well, as long as its better than the "meh" first one, I'll be good
ezio619 - 10/18/2013, 6:13 PM
since a cap ,x men, and spidey trailer is being shown in front of it, how cool would it be for a small one min guardians teaser, maybe the scene in which john c reilly is naming of the guardians
ATrueHero1987 - 10/18/2013, 6:15 PM
I REALLY liked the first one, I thought it was very good. So far the reactions see it's better than the first one, so that goods!

SN: Did someone really expect this to be better than The Avengers?>
Amazing512 - 10/18/2013, 6:16 PM
@Martion I think it is a rumor. Every site has it listed at 120
NightForce - 10/18/2013, 6:16 PM
"Prepare to laugh!" Yaaaaaaaayyyyyyy
BigThor - 10/18/2013, 6:20 PM
^ Agreed, I was like seriously when I read that
BritishMonkey - 10/18/2013, 6:25 PM
I thought Thor was the main and titular character and not Loki? All this praise to Loki is getting a little irritating now.
TheWolverine08 - 10/18/2013, 6:28 PM
TMW1987ProudProWrestlingFan - 10/18/2013, 6:28 PM
I loved the first one, so to hear this is better is good enough for me.

Avengers is always gonna be tough to top & I don't think that will happen until either GOTG, Cap 2 or Avengers 2.

I still think & believe that Thor 2 is going to wipe the floor with Iron Man 3, maybes not financially, but as an over all film & how it is presented, I think it will be the better of the two. Really hoping so!
Curmudgeon - 10/18/2013, 6:30 PM
"Marvel Studios Fanfare"!!!

Holy crap, we're getting music for Marvel's opening logo!
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 10/18/2013, 6:30 PM
If you like the first one you will love Thor 2?

I hated the first one but.....still think this is gonna be Marvel's best film.
StatenMan18 - 10/18/2013, 6:30 PM
I hope this movie is sick as hell..last big cbm of the year for me
NightForce - 10/18/2013, 6:31 PM
@BritishMonkey @Batmaniac
Yeah, seriously its annoying. You'd think the film was called "Loki: The Loki World".
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 10/18/2013, 6:31 PM
Still a month to go and AGAIN referring to humor? GOD, STOP WITH THE [frick]IN JOKES!
PredatorRIsing - 10/18/2013, 6:36 PM
I think thats enough spoilers for now.
ezio619 - 10/18/2013, 6:37 PM
i dont mind the humor aslong it tells a good story and the humor doesnt interfere with the story which was one of my few problems with iron man 3
Ramiel - 10/18/2013, 6:39 PM
Of course, it's going to be better than the first one (I loved the first one). I just don't like that it's going to be only 100 minutes long.
Inhuman - 10/18/2013, 6:39 PM
Been saying since Phase 2 was announced, Thor 2 will be the best Phase 2 film
Transforminator - 10/18/2013, 6:46 PM
Shame....Loki overshadowing Thor again. Don't get me wrong, Loki is hella awesome....but Thor at this point is the supporting character for Loki from the sound of it. Looking forward to November!

P.S. Marvel's International/Domestic release strategy is really [frick]ing annoying.
ALmazing - 10/18/2013, 6:48 PM
As long as it is better than IM3 and MoS, that's all I ask.
StatenMan18 - 10/18/2013, 6:50 PM

Same here man.. First phase did a great job of balancing that humor/ story aspect.. I really hope this doesn't turn into IM3 as much as I like it now. If they're gonna call it the dark world the least they can do is just have one tone during the first half and change it during the second or she the villain comes in.. What do you think ?
StatenMan18 - 10/18/2013, 6:53 PM
MrCBM56 - 10/18/2013, 6:58 PM
Star Trek meets Lord of the Rings?!?

Oh [frick] yeah, I'm in.

Loki is going to be awesome.

I. Can. Not. Wait.
MrCBM56 - 10/18/2013, 7:00 PM
I don't think Loli is overshadowing Thor, it's just he's a fan favorite.

We all know Thor will kick ass, so whats the difference.

Plus, that's THEIR opinion. When you watch the movie, you may not feel the same.

Save your judgement when YOU see the film.
OnLeatherWings - 10/18/2013, 7:03 PM
This has been my most anticipated of phase 2. Enjoyed the first one but wasn't thrilled on it. This one was such a good vibe about it
SageMode - 10/18/2013, 7:05 PM
Great to hear. This movie will own all.
KingEmperor - 10/18/2013, 7:09 PM
"Prepare to laugh". *sigh*
MrCBM56 - 10/18/2013, 7:11 PM
Surprised at how many people are mad at the prepare to laugh tweet.

Every Marvel Studios film has been funny thus far,why are you people acting surprised?
McNyagano - 10/18/2013, 7:17 PM

Every Marvel Studios film has been funny thus far,why are you people acting surprised?

Well apparently, any superhero movie that has humour these days is a kids film. Everything has to be dark, humourless and gritty.
MrCBM56 - 10/18/2013, 7:24 PM

Seems like it.
