Brenton Thwaites And Nicola Peltz To Join Mark Wahlberg In TRANSFORMERS 4

Brenton Thwaites And Nicola Peltz To Join Mark Wahlberg In TRANSFORMERS 4

Twitch report that the two young actors have officially signed on to star alongside Wahlberg in Michael Bay's fourth movie in the ridiculously lucrative Transformers franchise. Read on for more details..

According to Twitchfilm, Transformers 4 has found its pair of young co-stars to battle Decepticons alongside Marky Mark. Nicola Peltz (The Last Airbender) is said to have beat Isabelle Cornish, Gabriella Wilde and Margaret Qualley for her role, while Thwaites (soon to be seen in Maleficent) was up against the likes of Luke Grimes, Landon Liboiron, Jack Reynor and Hunter Parrish. Apparently Peltz will play Wahlberg's teenage daughter, and Thwaites her race car driver boyfriend. How super awesome does that sound? The story will revolve around the Transformers blowing up The Great Wall Of China or something.

Neither of these two made me give a damn.

The only actor that would make me want to see this out of curiosity would be Mel Gibson for the mere chance we'd get to hear more of his drunken Jew rant's on set.
mgeoff88 - 12/10/2012, 8:51 PM
Lol, is that the guy from SLiDE? Reading about the plot again makes me wish the TF franchise was in better hands smh.

Pointless. I wanna see more news on Star Wars Ep. 7
WingDingaLing - 12/10/2012, 9:04 PM
Yeah this movie is gonna suck.

IDKwhatToChoose - 12/10/2012, 9:09 PM
Everyone that says these movies suck is missing the entire point of the movie. They obviously were not written for their plots or grade A acting. They are made to eat popcorn, grab your kids and watch robots blow crap up. If your looking for The Green Mile your watching the wrong flick.

When you watch a Michael Bay movie with those expectations you will enjoy the movies.

Could they actually have put a plot and great acting behind them? Probably. But then it wouldn't have made any money and you wouldn't even get a reboot for a decade.

"The story will revolve around the Transformers blowing up The Great Wall Of China or something"

but in all seriousness,I don't give a sh*t. I used to like these movies, but now they're just unbearable to me.
Spidey91 - 12/10/2012, 9:12 PM
I rather play the War/Fall of Cybertron games,or watch Transformers Prime,or Beast Wars,or Animated,or the original cartoon, anything but the movies.

@IDKwhatToChoose See the problem with that is Bay didn't give us that, he gave us a teen angst flick with some robots fighting in the background.

Anyone reading this, when you watch all the transformers movies and fast forward anything dealing with Sam's life or family the movies are great.

One day a fan with time and ability will edit a single great movie from all the robot scenes in all the movies and make a masterpiece.
mk - 12/10/2012, 9:20 PM
Guess its just like the last 3 transformers.. but instead kids as lead.. marky mark (adult) will be leading
CharacterAssassin - 12/10/2012, 9:25 PM
Sounds like TF4 is going the DBZ Evolution route.
BubblesShedAndBreakfast - 12/10/2012, 9:32 PM
I was happy when I heard no Sam cause that ment none of the stupid drama about him his family and gf. I hope these aren't replacements for Sam and his crew.
XavierLehnsherr - 12/10/2012, 9:34 PM
What's getting stale is how "worldly/of-our-Earth" the Transformers have become/what they've become assimilated to.

The best thing these Transformers movie could do is leave the Earth behind and explore the rest of the entire universe, especially Cybertron.

I hope Superman does the same thing and leaves Earth behind. Give me some damn Apokolips, some Oa. Just anywhere else but here.

If I wanted to see the Earth I could just go outside. Make the ridiculous amount of money I pay to watch movies worth it.
LAXtremest - 12/10/2012, 9:44 PM
I get the feeling you're not behind this project too much Ror lol.

DCjohnny - 12/10/2012, 10:25 PM
all i am saying is please don't recast the character in the sequel, like they did with megan fox
Genaro - 12/10/2012, 10:56 PM
Is a ONLY transformers cast too much too ask for. I am very let down by this I hope the world ends on the 21st.
yourdaddy - 12/10/2012, 11:37 PM

you're joking right?
having real characters (as opposed to stereotypes). having character arcs. having a plot. having wit, and laugh-out-loud humor. not being racist. not being sexist. the massive action set-piece only being the climax of the film. and having [frick]ing superheroes.

these things essentially makes avengers very, VERY different from transformers. you do realize that 'action' is a very broad genre right?
yourdaddy - 12/10/2012, 11:38 PM

no we don't.

do YOU not have anything better to do than pointing out people not having anything better to do? seems to me like what you're doing is even more pathetic.
Genaro - 12/10/2012, 11:39 PM
I can say what I want, I pay my taxes.
Genaro - 12/10/2012, 11:41 PM
@ ItalianSpider I work and go to college so yeah I do have something better to do.
0ptimusCrime - 12/10/2012, 11:42 PM
Just take your time, and make a long cgi filled movie (like Avatar cgi filled) about Transformers....
Genaro - 12/10/2012, 11:44 PM
Im not mad with Humans being cast, just dont want kids to be in it. Also at the end of the movie I hope they dont kiss because that is how all the movies now a days end.
KingEmperor - 12/10/2012, 11:50 PM
Ugh, a younger generation being cast...
Happy11 - 12/10/2012, 11:56 PM
Who's the idiot asking for a trailer they haven't even started principle photography. The first one was ok and that's because I loved the cartoon in the 80s but money talks.
Kayo - 12/11/2012, 12:13 AM
is Ehren Kruger involve in this project again?
Viral - 12/11/2012, 12:35 AM
Nice to see "volunteer contributors" who show their tendentious and sarcastic opinions in their articles. Very professional! :)
CherryBomb - 12/11/2012, 4:47 AM
Wow, a surprising choice! I would've never have guessed Nicola Peltz.
But I'm glad, she was the only good thing about The Last Airbender.

mr2324jgf - 12/11/2012, 6:40 AM
oh good, more human beings in a transformer movie.... probably a good thing, i wouldn't want the transformers to be too much of a focal point in their own title
plasticman - 12/11/2012, 7:00 AM
@Ror- I sense no editorial bias in this story. It is by fact that it IS a disappointment that Michael Bay is returning to this project. But these two rising stars are just what we need for this sequel to the Witch Mountain movie.

This isn't a Witch Mountain sequel, you say? It's the fourth Transformers movie? Well that's I don't care.

Just glad to know that two more visually appealing, non-geeky actors are going to be running around on screen screwing with the franchise even more. RE-BOOT!!! RE-BOOT!!!
