I actually quite liked this film. Lockdown was awesome but the film was just very very long.
SuperCat - 6/26/2014, 8:00 AM

Nice find @McNya.

Cannot wait for this flick. Should be oodles of fun.
sKeemAn - 6/26/2014, 8:05 AM
I missed a free premiere of this last night. I was laid back with 2 beers and a blunt. The weed made me forget about it.

Saw it last night.... absolute garbage, the worst of the four. Dialogue was childish and the entire plot seemed as though Paramount and Bay tossed ideas in a hat and the movie was what they pulled from it.

You'll also lose count of the vast number of product placements in the movie, one scene where Tucci is drinking chinese milk and he lowers his hand that was blocking the logo so the audiences can see it.
MercwithMouth - 6/26/2014, 8:09 AM
Tucci is awesome.

"Hustle hustle hustle!!!"

AlexanderLykins - 6/26/2014, 8:10 AM
So here are the rules:

1. You can't see this movie more than once.
2. You can't pay for more than 1 ticket.
3. You can't see it in IMAX 3D or regular 3D.
4. After you see it, you have to spread the word that the movie sucks.
BboiBlack - 6/26/2014, 8:11 AM
omg, if only tucci didn't lower his hand, the film would have actually been better.
MercwithMouth - 6/26/2014, 8:11 AM

Must've been some good dank...pass that shit.

Saw the film last night at a screening. Definitely an improvement of the last two. But the film hilariously fails at trying to juggle so many arcs and struggles to have them intertwine with each other. I will admit, this film can really be enjoyable at times. The Transformers have personality, and the Yeager family does have some (And when I say some I mean little) depth to them. The utterly childish humor is gone which is good. But at 165 minutes, it gets pretty tiresome. 5/10 for me.

P.S. Dinobots were weak, they don't talk, they barely transform. They're just there for show. BUT the way they're incorporated into the story is pretty cool, just saying don't expect a lot from them.

Though, the ending does leave multiple possibilities for where to take the fifth movie forward.
sKeemAn - 6/26/2014, 8:19 AM

It was an extendo blunt. I'm still feeling it this morning
shabat - 6/26/2014, 8:19 AM

I think it was shot with IMAX 3D cameras, so it may be worth watching in that format. This coming from a guy who absolutely detests 3D.
Phronesis - 6/26/2014, 8:21 AM
@shabat I hate 3D as well, but it was actually really cool. It's not mandatory but it does somewhat add to the experience. Still recommend 2D...

cool thanks. I may still watch in IMAX 3D, I'm not sure yet.
FastFlames - 6/26/2014, 8:27 AM
Was gonna see it at the midnight premiere.. But my friend bailed so were seeing it Saturday.
AlexanderLykins - 6/26/2014, 8:27 AM
Who on here is at work?
MercwithMouth - 6/26/2014, 8:28 AM

I'd have to drive 3 1/2 hours for IMAX. Only 2 hours for regular 3D. And yeah, it's the first film to be entirely shot with IMAX's brand new smaller 3D cameras.

That's a pretty blunt. I prefer these though...

Love that cockroach. At least I think it's a cockroach.
MercwithMouth - 6/26/2014, 8:29 AM

Me. [frick]ing bullshit.
AlexanderLykins - 6/26/2014, 8:31 AM
This is my first day in a about a month I got a day off. Only problem is the fact that I have to drive 4 1/2 hours to pick my sister up from camp. It beats working though.
AlexanderLykins - 6/26/2014, 8:31 AM
3 1/2 hours for IMAX? Where on Earth do you live?
Ineedrevelation - 6/26/2014, 8:33 AM
That movie was god awful
DarthSandwich - 6/26/2014, 8:36 AM
There should be a sign on the entrance of the cinema "Do not see this movie, you are smarter than this, go see DOFP or something similar, it's not worth your money" someone should write that note and stick it to the poster of this movie.
sKeemAn - 6/26/2014, 8:40 AM

Nice you like the clone rolls. sweet.
sKeemAn - 6/26/2014, 8:41 AM
Merc and I

blackandyellow - 6/26/2014, 8:42 AM
Alex, Merc is Canadian. That's 3.5 hours by dog sled.
tongtong - 6/26/2014, 8:48 AM
The movie sucks. Tucci and Whalberg did not help.
Jollem - 6/26/2014, 8:49 AM
this looks so much better than the iron man movies
AlexanderLykins - 6/26/2014, 8:49 AM

That explains a lot.
