no suprise the dark knight won. it's the best comic book movie of all time. definately one of the best movies of all time
Moonwalker1991 - 11/6/2011, 11:47 AM
Yeah, it was either TDK or Batman Begins. But TDKR will be the best of the trilogy.
P862010 - 11/6/2011, 11:47 AM
i like TDK but prefer Watchmen over it anyday of the week
GothamKnight01 - 11/6/2011, 11:49 AM
Where is CATWOMAN on this list??!!

It was hard to choose between...

Batman (1989)
Batman Returns
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
alucard365 - 11/6/2011, 11:54 AM
Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and V For Vendetta
warlock - 11/6/2011, 12:02 PM

Supes17 - 11/6/2011, 12:13 PM
V for Vendetta was way better than Watchmen.

For me it's a toss-up between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
Batman Begins was amazing because I finally got to see Batman's origins in a live-action film
The Dark Knight was just crazyness, and chaos, which makes sense because the Joker was present
FATMANGOBOOM - 11/6/2011, 12:31 PM
I loved the watchmen and Dark knight... but why is there so much dislike for Watchmen it was awesome... wish more comic books were R and had some of the Heros die... in the end
ChiefJudge - 11/6/2011, 12:35 PM
V For Vendetta & Watchmen are easily the best written and acted - The best Batman is Batman The Movie from The 60's which would have won if you had included it in the poll.
jjmeylar - 11/6/2011, 12:45 PM
I noticed that "Batman and Robin"is not on there. lol All of my favorites are, though. "The Losers" is my #1!
jjmeylar - 11/6/2011, 12:46 PM
@camprototype: TDK is just above average!
Spidey91 - 11/6/2011, 12:57 PM
it's a tough one
Batman Begins showed Batman's origins properly,TDK had the Joker but it lost the gothic fell of Gotham City from BB,Superman 1 and 2 are classics,Burton's Batman was more on pair with the comic books,Watchmen is a pretty good adaptation with a nice visual style(and Rorschach was awesome),and Hugo Weaving as V was genius.
thedude2936 - 11/6/2011, 12:58 PM
My Favorites on this poll are Superman, TDK, Batman Begins and the Tim Burton Batman.
nowtheresaBATman - 11/6/2011, 1:06 PM
I know TDK was going to be 1st but I have to say I'm glad to see Batman Begins 2nd overall. It may not be as epic as TDK but it's better than all of the rest.
ObiBinks - 11/6/2011, 1:23 PM
This poll is missing the two best of all time: Batman & Robin and Catwoman.
Deadpool101 - 11/6/2011, 1:38 PM
really enoyed Batman,Batman Returns and the Drak knight
EditNinja - 11/6/2011, 1:41 PM
Yeah, no Catwoman? LOL!

Well, I guess that's not my favourite DC Movie then![puts hands on hips]
cwatts22 - 11/6/2011, 1:42 PM
Where is Batman: The Movie (1966)??
I know its campy, but I still love it!

But, behind that, Batman Begins.
PirateOpossum - 11/6/2011, 1:44 PM
The Dark Knight Blows... I hate what they have done to the Batman universe. Batman Begins was okay, but I have yet to see a good portrayal of batman live action.

I Voted V for Vendetta.
Batman732 - 11/6/2011, 1:45 PM
Superman The Movie is underrated. I still chose Batman Begins, because not only was it a great movie but it added to the Batman lore.
CMKOFAN - 11/6/2011, 1:48 PM
this thread doesn't make sense. as soon as i read the title The Dark Knight came to my mind. plus we know TDK would win. it was pointless to have this.
TerminatorMode - 11/6/2011, 2:06 PM
its kinda sad that there are only really two options up there for me - get it in gear DC!
JYCowboy - 11/6/2011, 2:34 PM
What? No Superman 4: The Quest for Peace either?

LOL, good poll though.
SkaarJones - 11/6/2011, 3:16 PM
I had trouble choosing between:
Superman the Movie
Superman II
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight

With strong follow up from:
V For Vendetta

Green Lantern and League of EG
AC1 - 11/6/2011, 3:34 PM
Mines TDK, with Batman Begins and Watchmen in a very close joint second
thunderstruck - 11/6/2011, 3:41 PM
nolans batman films and watchmen at the top of the list obviously, and the losers and extraordinary gentlemen weren't that terrible either
OptimusBurgundyMaximus - 11/6/2011, 4:07 PM
Batman Begins
AEStark - 11/6/2011, 5:05 PM
Really? The Dark Knight? So the quality of the acting on the part of the lead doesn't count for you guys huh? There must be 1000 people out there who enjoy an asthmatic, mouth breathing Batman.
ZombieOverEasy - 11/6/2011, 5:12 PM
I voted for V, just watched it on the 5th again. It's become a yearly tradition.

Won't be surprised if the poll ends up:

Batman Begins
V for Vendetta
Pygmalion - 11/6/2011, 5:22 PM
Where's Batman and Robin???
TheOverlord - 11/6/2011, 5:58 PM
TDK for the win, obviously. I will go so far as to say they have NEVER made a good Superman movie. (The ridiculous ending killed the first one for me.) Also, thanks for reminding me they made that horrible League of Extraordinary Gentlemen abomination. I just threw up a little.
EpicMan123 - 11/6/2011, 6:19 PM
lol thank you for not including batman and robin on the list
OtakuPapi - 11/6/2011, 7:27 PM
1.The Dark Knight
2. V For Vendetta
4.Batman Returns
5.A History Of Violence
RyanLantern77 - 11/6/2011, 9:28 PM
1. Batman Begins
2. The Dark Knight
3. Watchmen
4. Road to Perdition
5. History of Violence
PeterDarker121 - 11/6/2011, 9:58 PM
4 people chose Superman 3. LMFAO, but God bless them... God BLESS them.
113 - 11/6/2011, 11:29 PM
I think i'm still partial to Batman Begins over The Dark Knight. I think people often forget how great that movie was because the Joker/Heath stole the show in The Dark Knight.

It's a tie between Superman 2 and Batman Begins for me.
blackcelebration - 11/7/2011, 3:35 AM
Please note these are just opinions and do not reflect reality or state of reference.

1. Superman (Classic, that has withstood the test of time. Yes the ending is controversial, but controversial isn't bad)

2. Batman Begins (Brilliant beginning, falters with weak ending)

3. Superman II (Zoooood, but suffers from a few missteps here and there)

4. The Dark Knight (Perhaps tries too hard, and has plot holes all over the place. Joker is awesome though)

5. Batman (Was the film that got me into comic books, time hasn't been kind to it though. Still awesome to watch if your brain is switched off).

Others that deserve a mention...

Watchmen, V for Vendetta.
Ichaos - 11/7/2011, 5:25 AM
@camprototype Darknight was good but one of the best movies of all time? Sounds like someone needs to catch up on their movie watching
marvel72 - 11/7/2011, 8:43 AM
1st watchmen
2nd superman the movie
3rd v for vendetta
Tevii - 11/7/2011, 9:04 AM
Batman or Batman Begins should be number one. Superman was great but too dated.

The Dark Knight has too many holes, its too long and has a pointless Two-face arc. Not half as good a movie as people say it is. Ledger was awesome though.
