Transformers: Dark of the Moon Hits Blu-ray September 30th!

Transformers: Dark of the Moon Hits Blu-ray September 30th!

Paramount has revealed the release date for Transformers: Dark of the Moon on DVD, Blu-ray, and digital download!

Whether you liked the movie or not, there is no denying the power of Transformers at the Box Office. Now we know when the Transformers will unleash an onslaught on the DVD retail market and that day is right around the corner!

According to "Nelson" the admin at Michael Bay's official site, we are only getting the movie on September 30th, with special editions and box sets to come later on in the year...

The first is just the movie.

The second is the 2-disc Special Edition set.

And the 3rd is the trilogy (6 disc) in a special metal encasement. There might be different versions of this across the globe.

That box in the form of the AUtobot logo is one of the early concepts for the the international trilogy.

"Transformers 3" features Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) taking his first tenuous steps into adulthood while remaining a reluctant human ally of Optimus Prime. The film centers around the space race between the U.S.S.R. and the USA, suggesting there was a hidden Transformers role in it all that remains one of the planet's most dangerous secrets

So the question is, are you going to be purchasing this when it hits store shelves or are you going to pass? Leave your comments below!

This is the best of the 3-- I will be buying the Bluray.

It is the only one where there was some sense of danger.
BooYah - 9/1/2011, 8:09 PM
Imo this was the worst of the three. Complete shit.
OptimusPrimeTime - 9/1/2011, 8:13 PM

RunDTC - 9/1/2011, 8:23 PM
Only one Bay film I don't like: Pearl Harbor. like the rest.
tazmaniak - 9/1/2011, 8:37 PM
That's only 3 months after the film was released. What's that about?

The way they killed off IRONHIDE ruined the entire trillogy for me.. the First will alyways be the best one.. Bring on the reboot!!
OptimusPrimeTime - 9/1/2011, 8:48 PM

I do agree with you about not liking Ironhide's death. It was my 2nd biggest complaint with DOTM, the 1st being that they made Sentinel a traitor.

I HATED the fact that they made him evil...he should have been portrayed the complete opposite and been the one to swoop in and help save Optimus and the Autobots.

Other than that the movie was Action Sex that raped my movie-lookers and I loved every second.
Spidey91 - 9/1/2011, 9:49 PM
I already have the other two movies (I kinda regret buying the second ),so I might add this to my collection as well
Joker11 - 9/1/2011, 9:54 PM

MaddMonkk - 9/2/2011, 12:53 AM

thalidomide - 9/2/2011, 3:08 AM

primeobjective - 9/2/2011, 3:25 AM
Must have!!!
marvel72 - 9/2/2011, 4:56 AM
yeah i'll be picking this up even if it is for the last hour of the movie.
Ichaos - 9/2/2011, 7:07 AM
I wonder if they willl add an extra 30 mins to the big FX battle. An hour wasn't long enough. Sorry they only movie I will pay to see anytime in the near future that has the plot of big robots hitting each other is that movie with Hugh Jackman that appears to br the film adaption of Rockem Sockem Robots
Asterisk - 9/2/2011, 8:02 AM
I was disappointed that I couldn't see this in theaters. I'm a huge Transformers fan.
PaulRom - 9/2/2011, 10:07 AM
Heh, so my previous Transformers article was correct. :D
GUNGRAVE1 - 9/2/2011, 2:16 PM
I will be buying this movie.
PaulRom - 9/2/2011, 3:21 PM
Anyways, I'm definitely buying this. One of my favorite movies this year, easily the best of the trilogy.
Monrogue - 9/5/2011, 6:29 PM
Yes, can't wait to get this on Bluray!
Osiris - 9/7/2011, 12:35 AM
I don't think it's coming out at the end of this month. and a few reasons apply here. 1. Amazon and other online store sites do not have a release date listed. 2. the movie is still in select Theaters. I'm pretty sure this was just a ballpark time frame by Nelson due to the fact that the only source for it's release on this date comes from the same as the one posted by JohnArturo and no store online or offline has knowledge of it's release.
